Guess my review got taken off...what's up with that? I'm here again to write what should be on this site. Called Kerb because they had a high rating. It was someone new as we usually used local movers. We've moved multiple times within the many years we've been here in Maryland. This was a local move from Brewers Hill to Upper Fells, not far at all. I called to make sure they did local moves and they said yes. It seems as I called someone in California. They were very receptive initially. After I deposited the money, I didn't get any information until a few days before and I actually had to reach out to them first. I then got a call from someone that didn't really know the situation. Couldn't get a hold of the guy that initially started it all out. I was hoping for the best. All that aside, I was told the guys would call me 30 mins before. I got a call at 8 or so in the morning the day of. He did not have the addresses of any of the places. Found out he didn't have the right size truck. I was quoted an estimate and understood that it would probably be a bit over that, but not 500 dollars over. 1. Tried calling that day to get a hold of ANYONE...2. Guys started moving slower...understood but they only had 3 guys and I told the initial guy in california (in which he obviously didn't get a good understanding of how much we had) so the 2 bed house with a 10x10 storage unit and more boxes in the basement of the place we were renting...I told him I would even get pictures. ANYWAYS!!! Frustrated that it was taking way longer as the guys finally got to the house with, I thought, all of it...found out that it was not a big enough truck to make it all in one run. This pushed the amount much higher as they started to move slower. I realized that since this probably was not KERB...it was contracted out...the onus is on KERB for not getting a good understanding of what we had, not even calling me back the day of, and then trying to email and phone me after I had put up a bad review. Sorry, but you should have called me that day. You should have gotten a better estimate on what was being moved. If Yelp's not recommending software either deletes this or whatever it might be that they take it off again...I'll add it again. Not happy with Kerb or Yelp at this point. My mom asked me to help and look for movers for my aunt that lives in the east coast. She needed help moving back to Texas. So, I took my chances with Kerb. We've used other movers in the past for similar long distance moves and in terms with overall experiences, Kerb was the best! They were very particular about arriving on time for pick up. With that being said, they were 15 mins late. Lol. But i have to say their hard work made up for it. The movers was very thorough with the package and handling ensuring that no items received had a slight scratch. These guys are definitely well trained professional movers. Amazing moving skills that I would of never ever thought about. These guys work with nothing but boxes, crates, tape, plastic and bubble wrap. We were amazed. The good new is nothing came ruin or broken full service of packing and unpacking. It doesn't get better than that. My family was left highly satisfied with the personal attention and responsibility taken by the company during the move. Gotta give these guys a try if anyone one looking for a long distance move. read more

I had the best moving experience with Kerb! I was always afraid of my belongings being damaged when moving, but not with this company. The staff were super nice and careful with everything. The service also provided cardboard boxes and crates, which I took advantage of :) I really appreciate the help they offer, especially with unpacking. I highly recommend these guys because they made the process go very smoothly. I was also satisfied with the pricing based on the distance of my move and the services provided. I moved from Baltimore to New York and looked for a couple moving companies. Kerb kept the pricing competitive after hearing about the other prices. I was a little skeptical scheduling to go to another state but it went smoothly. After we settled and chose to use their service, they came in for a free estimate at our home and came pretty much the first date we agreed upon. We had a car that needed to be shipped and they estimated that as well. After they came they had various packages for us to put our belongings in. I was worried about the more fragile items, such as my soft-cased guitars, vases, and other cherished belongings but they were able to wrap them up and apply tape to hold them in a secure position. They did offer wooden crates but we declined due to the wrapping and tape being secure enough for our satisfaction. Our family flew to New York and the movers were there on the scheduled date. They aided us in unpacking the belongings and even walked us through to make sure everything was in proper condition. I would highly recommend this company if you are moving in or out of the state. read more

Great service with Kerb Movers! Helped me make the move from N.C. to NY! Made the move so much less stressful, knowing my personal things and breakable items were safe. The guys were very professional and I trusted them with my stuff, it's always great to have that feeling. The huge plus was being able to also ship my car. I moved from Raleigh to Florida. I had looked into several different companies, gotten quotes and spoke to several people. Kerb by far had the best prices versus other people I talked to so I went ahead and booked their services. They came and boxed everything up, took there time to make sure everything was safely packed up for the long drive ahead. The people that came to my home were respectful of our things and made sure to introduce themselves to my boyfriend and i. The one thing that I consider my baby is my car. I don't let anyone drive it but me. Kerb movers got my car to Florida in one piece with no scratches or dings. They carefully loaded my vehicle to the equipment and double checked to make sure everything was in place. I couldn't thank them enough for making this move stressless! wouldn't want anyone else to help me move. read more

Moving from home to home isn't ever really a pleasant experience--especially when the distance exceeds 2.5k mile, (NYC to Los Angeles) and moving assembled furniture is a pain, I'm constantly worried if something will be damaged in the process. I decided to try out Kerb this time around, and luckily for me , they delivered everything in one piece (nothing was damaged). Prior, the date of the move, I have informed them of all the glass closets, and mirrors I have in my home, and to be careful of handling the corners of tables (I'm a bit of a neat freak, with chipped corners)- on the day of the move they arrived with bubble wraps, cardboard boxes, and cling wraps. Shockingly, to my surprise, they came a little bit earlier than expected to prepare for the transfer, they were very attentive to all my valuables, and made sure they were well protected all around. The rate was reasonable considering all the distance and amount of belongings we had to move. (I have no complaints). I would definitely have them help assist my next move. read more

I move around a lot so I've had a fair share of experiences with moving services. I have never been satisfied with any of my moves until a friend recommended Kerb's services. I've used their services a few days ago, and I was not disappointed! I was compelled to write this review because moving back to LA from Baltimore has been the smoothest and easiest move I've ever had! They were professional, friendly, and quick with their responses and most importantly, on moving day, they arrived early and didn't waste any time getting the work done. I've had many past experiences where my belongings got broken or lost during the move, but the movers at Kerb handled my things with care and in one piece. I definitely recommend them, and will rely on Kerb again for my future moves. read more

I moved my car from MD to CA, was doing this first time. was naturally hesitant to proceed and short list. KERB made it a breeze. Estimate are about 99% accurate, truck driver pick up and drop-off both gave a day of notice to be prepared. Thorough check up during the pick up, they are really good and professional. As follow up they would also leave you a # for customer support. I really did not had to do anything but just go with the flow. KUDOS !! read more
