The Pad Thai has excellent flavour but all of the curries are very disappointing. It's like they've used a frozen garden mix (peas, carrots, beans) that isn't very Thai and just thrown some bamboo in to disguIse it. It's a shame that Saskatoon doesn't have better Thai options. read more

I do not know why this restaurant rates so low on Yelp. It really has great food. I ordered a Red Curry, number 4 spice with chicken and sticky rice. It was really tasty. The staff were warm and friendly with no issues at all. I really would recommend them. read more

I usually go here once a year (usually for New Years). I almost always get their dancing prawns, which are phenomenal. I also really like their pad Thai and Thai iced tea. This year we ordered takeout and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely more expensive than other Asian cuisine in the city, but worth an occasional splurge. read more

We have been ordering from Keo's for quite a few years. We followed the restaurant from the old location to the new location and it has been a family favourite for birthdays and special occasions. I wanted to surprise my family tonight with an order. there are three of us, my order was $72. I ordered ginger beef with rice, red curry with chicken and coconut rice, summer rolls and two orders of spring rolls. What a disappointment! The portions were very very small. I was heartbroken. I couldn't believe this amount of food was $72. We will not be returning. I phoned when I returned home from picking up my order and was not offered anything to make up for the short comings of the amount of food. read more

This is probably one of the best Thai places I've eaten at in all of my travels, and this location specifically has made some delicious dishes. It is a Laotian/Thai food place that knows what vegan means, has vegetarian options marked right on the menu, and gluten free options as well (in addition to the usual meat dishes and soups you'd see at a Thai place). All of the curries are all fantastic, the coconut rice is sweet and delicious, and spring rolls are crispy rice noodle filled snacks perfect with sweet hot pepper sauce. My favourite dishes were the Massamun Curry (with extra veggies), and the Pad Thai (with crispy tofu). Our server recommended this combination, and I know from personal experience if you get tofu with the massamun curry it gets a bit soggy, but is perfect with the pad thai. When they ask you how hot you want it, they aren't playing around. Adjust your spice request accordingly!!! I love the atmosphere inside, clean, modern, with a decent amount of seating. Every time I've gone in, it was a much quieter crowd than the Keo's on Broadway Ave. Vegetarian or not, this restaurant is worth a visit. read more

This was a huge disappointment for me. I eat Thai food often in Calgary and Edmonton (since it is my favourite cuisine) and have never had a dish I disliked, until tonight. My boss and I ordered four dishes. The salad rolls were all noodles and the peanut sauce had no peanut flavour at all, I don't even know what is was composed of. The Tom yum sweet and sour tasted only of an unbalanced bowl of soy sauce with uncooked mushrooms on the top (strongly disliked this and did not eat it). The gingerbeef was so sweet it was practically inedible. I couldn't taste garlic or ginger. The only redeeming dish was a prawn dish with carrot and onions and peppers. The prawns were too-heavily battered for me, but the vegetables were cooked nicely. We asked for the dishes to be a 5 out of 6 on a hot scale, and I wouldn't even call it a 1. Absolutely no heat! Their hot sauce wasn't even hot. It was a very mild, but nice tasting salsa- like sauce. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who enjoys real Thai food! For the price you pay, you would expect some customer service. We usually order takeout/delivery and we always ask for no nuts, peanuts or sesame seeds. We got our pad thai and it was loaded with nuts even though the order slip said "no nuts etc" We called them right away and after waiting on the phone a long time the girl says they have no policy about errors in the order. She mentioned that a manager will call in a couple of weeks. Basically it means that we have your money so too bad. No sorry we will give you a credit or send another one out. No one has called back as it has been over 2 weeks now, so now we are never ordering from them again. read more

Note the recent namechange to Sawaddee Bistro. While I agree with the previous reviews that the food is good here, the service was REALLY slow. I was dining alone, and it took around an hour to get my maincourse. Unfortunately, they were overly busy on a a Saturday night for their staffing - they only had one cook and two waitresses taking care of service, assigning tables and getting hand-written bills. They need to step that up! The fried pepper calamari was outstanding, and the Pad Thai was good, but not the best I've ever had. I would certainly come back, but I would hope they improve their staffing! read more

If I could give them a negative star review I would. This used to be my favourite Thai place and I had heard under the new management that it was no longer good but I didn't believe it. We ordered through skip the dishes. It said 40 mins - a little long but ok. After 40 minutes our order was still showing 42 minutes away, long after their closing time and meanwhile we have no food. When I tried to call asking if we were still getting our order they hung up on me! Absolutely never again will I order from here. There are many other excellent Thai restaurants . In a city as small as Saskatoon for an order to take so long and then to hang up on a customer this is not acceptable at all. read more

Not good. They clearly used frozen mixed vegetables in every dish and the curries were not very flavourful. It tasted like the vegetables were thrown in the curry last minute. They also inexplicably put the rice right in the side of the curry so it becomes soggy quickly. Dissatisfying experience for anyone who has had more authentic Thai food. Service was okay. read more

Should have listened to the Yelp reviews! Others gave this place rave reviews and so we decided to try it out because there aren't many Thai places here. Maybe it was because it was New Years Eve and it was pretty busy. Ordered four dishes and an app. Pad Thai was soggy tasted more like chicken soup and came with no chili flakes or lime. Red curry had cauliflower which you dont see in Thai food that much and the chicken was pink and chewy...it was horrible! Ginger beef was good but it is really a Chinese dish, and the portion was pretty small. Had another dish the girl at the front recommended and it wasn't very flavorful. Wide noodles and a few pieces of beef with broccoli and cauliflower. Fresh rolls had noodles and one butterflied shrimp. Peanut sauce was gross like one other reviewer mentioned. We have Thai food almost every week in Cali and this was by far the most expensive and least tasty Thai food I have ever had! read more

I would never recommend this restaurant. Terrible customer service. We ordered delivery and were told it would be an hour. We called to find out where food was after 1:15. They told us there was a mistake on their end and food would be at our house in 20 minutes. We called 45 minutes later as still no food - they said food was still there waiting to be delivered and was going to be another 30 minutes. Not once did they initiate a call with us to discuss - we had to call them. They said it usually takes 2 hours for delivery and weren't prepared to give us a discount. We ended up just canceling our order as we had a hungry household and did not want to wait longer. We will never order from here again and will be sure to tell our friends about our terrible experience. read more
