We were greeted by very kind and welcoming staff, they seated us in a nice table by the window. The place was clean and comfortable. Have driven by this place for years ! Mainly because of the yelp 3 star reviews. What a mistake, because the food was so good, I had the pork backbone stew and the wife had the beef bulgogi, and we ordered a whole fried chicken to take home. This was our first visit to Jeju and we're so happy to have them in the city, Saskatoon doesn't have very many Korean food options. This place has some very good dishes and some okay ones. The Banchan (Korean small plates) were all super tasty. Since they advertise themselves as a BBQ place we will return for the bbq. We tried the Kimchi stew which was delicious, it came out piping hot, with a nice spiciness. We tried the Bibimbap, and that was just okay, we wouldn't order it again. Then we tried a new dish called Ja Jang Meyon - a noodle dish served in a thick sauce made from black bean sauce with onions and meat broth, served with fresh cucumbers. The staff is friendly, but service is slow. After ordering food took a long time to come out. WORST FOOD EVER!!!! Avoid this restuarant. Staffs are unfriendly and the food are disgusting that I just wasted my money. I had groupes of people went and they all dissatisfied with quality of food and I ordered chinese spicy noodle and it tasted like instant noodle soup. we've been here 2x and the second time around, we didn't like what we ordered. It was a soup with mainly seafood in it (obviously forgot what it's called ) and find it too spicy and just didn't like the taste. They have very good service though and lots of side dishes . read more
