We eat here quite frequently. Spouse always ordered a the #77 jasmine special with 2 extra spring rolls. I'm told its awesome. I always order the beef satay soup. Love the soup. The broth is so flavorful . The spring rolls ate hot and crispy. Staff is efficient and food always makes it's way out quickly. read more

Jasmine has been my favourite Thai & Vietnamese restaurant for the past 14 years. (They serve other Asian cuisines, as well, but I can't remember what they are, off the top of my head.) Every time I visit a new restaurant serving similar cuisine, I always compare the tastes. Nothing has come close to Jasmine. Everything is prepared fresh. Service is top notch. For years while living in Saskatoon, we were regulars and would often ask the chef to choose our meals for us. He would usually cook up several dishes that were not on the menu. We were always delightful surprised & ever impressed by the flavours & textures. Hands down the best spring rolls, ever. Absolutely every dish was delicious! I desperately miss this restaurant, and often pine about traveling across the country simply to eat there again. read more

Average to below average. Came here for a quick lunch before heading to the airport. The food didn't excite me at all, but was edible. Bland pieces of chicken breast with gooey 'lemongrass' sauce drizzled over rice noodles. The spring rolls were good, but I'm pretty sure those come in packages anyway and are just deep fried. Fast, tasty, vegetarian-friendly. I was in Saskatoon for business and ended up getting lunch here almost every day. They do a lot of business; service is friendly and efficient, and the food shows up lightning fast. When you pay for your meal, the man at the counter already knows exactly what you ordered. I ordered the vegetable chow mein and liked it so much that I just kept ordering it each time I went back. It's vegetarian (and from talking to the server, I was confident that the restaurant understands what "vegetarian" means). It's not the kind of dish you would expect if you ordered chow mein at a Chinese restaurant. It's a lot of freshly-cooked vegetables (broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, bell pepper, onions, bok choy, baby corn, etc.) atop ramen-like noodles in a light broth. I doused it liberally with soy sauce and chili oil and ate it with some steamed rice on the side. It made a richly-flavored and satisfying meal. Although I was happy to stick to the chow mein, I could see and smell the dishes that other people ordered, and those looked delicious, too. A very good, satisfying place to get lunch. read more

In Town for work and by myself I was looking for something different for supper and something on the healthier side of regular restaurant fare. Found Jasmine was very close to my hotel and had good reviews so tried it out. I was not dissapointed as the food was fresh, tasty and served quickly. This is a small simple asian diner that appears to be Family run. Not fancy but very clean and good value. I imagine it must be a popular place for lunch also. The only negative comment I might have is that my Coconut Thai chicken and veg on rice did not have much of a coconut flavor at all, but did have a good zippy Thai spice to it without it being overly hot.
