Waters dropped moments later, asked if we needed coffee, tea or whatever else you wanted to drink. Our server was fantastic, explaining and educating us as we were first timers. The food came out piping hot very quickly and our tea ordered after the food was dropped came in a large teapot and hot just like at home. The clubhouse, which I did not have, has house made ham and turkey according to our server. My corn beef had slices of corn beef that did not taste house made, but the sheer volume of meat I couldn't finish, the eggs were cooked perfectly. The other had the farmers 3 egg omelette (with home fries & bacon in it), toast and coffee. The food and service were great, with large portions. The coffee was good. More people came in as lunchtime approached. We did chat with the owner a bit - who previously cooked at a well-known local German restaurant (now sadly closed). It shows - since schnitzel and goulash are also on the menu! Note: The restaurant only accepts cash or debit cards - no credit cards.  We highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. 5 stars all round.

As I looked over the menu I reminded myself why I hadn't been here in a while. There are absolutely no gluten free options for anyone with celiac disease.
