Easy to find with Google Maps. Parking available in front of the restaurant. Only 10% full 12:30PM on a Tuesday. Waitress was kind but never came to check on us during the meal until all plates were empty and we were ready for the bill (45min approx.). No water or coffee refills. Loved the large variety of homemade soups available. Menu is as per the online menu. I got the Meat lovers Burrito. I liked how the egg was cooked on to the wrap but it made the burrito so small and look so thin. I wish they put the hashbrowns IN the wrap as other restaurants have - makes it look fuller and give it more sustenance. Overall taste was fine but not exciting. Not very filling. 7/10. Hashbrowns were 10/10 yummy. Boyfriends got the California Burrito. He really liked the avocado in it. Friend 1 got the Fish and Chips. Loved the fish said very very good. Fries were super hot and fresh and crisp but needed salt. Friend 2 asked for 1 fish so she got the "seniors" meal. Very happy with her meal/taste/portion. We all split the Cookies 'N Cream Cake. It was 10/10 delicious but I don't recall the price. There's a display case with cake slices that would be great for takeout or take-home. Loved that there is a ton of choices and no matter who you bring they can find something to eat.

staff: friendly, working hard at a busy time. service: we were there for breakfast around 09:30. Staff did quick check ins and taking orders. Food came out pretty quickly. establishment: clean, bright, a modern version of an old school retro diner feel. Love the black/white checkered floor look. food: breakfast portions are generous! Pancakes with blueberries were fluffy and fresh. The egg meals were a generous size. All tasty. They have a kids menu for the littles.

    Denver sandwich and house salad!

I have to admit my expectations were not high but what a lovely surprise. Best Denver sandwich which was well built with fresh vegetables and chunks of ham. Side salad was large and had cucumbers, shredded cabbage and loads of green. Well done!

the place looks really nice, tidy and modern look for a diners. I like the color combination of the interior and the costumer service is great and waiting for the food is about 10mins which is good and they serve all day breakfast but I didn't see any pork in their menu, I think this is halal restaurant. I only order two food in their menu but all I can say about the western omelet is like tease of home made breakfast there's nothing else maybe I was expecting more about the omelet I hope they'll find new texture or flavour on the omelet but the blue berry pancakes there not too sweet which is really good not over power the honey or sweetness and you can still tease the blueberry!! you have to try it! I recommended!! overall four star!

A very enjoyable first time experience. Very clean, friendly staff and food was amazing!! We will definitely be back!

This location just opened on Dec 2nd and for being open almost a week, they were very organized and the food was pretty good! We went there on Sunday, Dec 8th around 12:30pm and was seated right away. The table and booth was very clean. The restaurant is bright, and clean as well. Our server greeted us shortly after we were seated and was very pleasant. All the staff were smiling and very nice to deal with. We were a bit surprised at first to realize that there was no pork products on the menu. Which is not a bad thing, but we expected a similar menu to the 118 ave location. This location is 100% Halal which is pretty brilliant since there are very few true Halal restaurants that serve a Canadian style breakfast or other entrees. I had the French toast crisp with blueberries and my spouse had the 2 egg classic breakfast with beef bacon. Neither of us even knew that beef bacon existed, but we both liked it! His breakfast was fairly standard for a classic breakfast (eggs, toast, shredded hash browns and the bacon). My French toast crisp was good, but I wasn't a fan. There was nothing outwardly wrong with it or tasted weird, but it was just my palette. Don't let that stop you from trying it! I don't think I would order it again, but this won't stop us from going back and trying something different! Their burgers look amazing and there are lots of other options on their menu. Overall the service was great, food was good, location and parking great and we'll try it again in the near future! To the owners...brilliant idea opening a Halal breakfast at joint in this area!

DO NOT kid yourselves, this is high quality dining at local, reasonable prices. We ordered the herbed chicken and a half rack of ribs and the spicy garlic butter prawns. We asked our fantastic server if the chef could split our order into 2 plates. She runs away and comes back in 2 minutes saying the chef would love to do that for us. Awesome! We're happy. I just kind of expected 2 bar style plates with our food lumped onto it. OMG! Was I blown away! The plating was what you would expect in a high end restaurant, not a Bar and Grill! The Keg, Chop, etc, beware. This hot new Steakhouse just might have your number. Our chicken was cooked to perfection, while being one of the juiciest chicken dishes I've ever had. The only thing keeping the chicken together was the perfect Grill marks! I'm saying this was superior chef skills. Veggies, perfectly grilled and just a touch crunchy. Perfect! Mashed potatoes, were amazing. Perfect garlic flavor. Just a touch on the cool side, so that's my only critique. However the hot gravy on the side solved that pretty quick. The prawns were still hot, perfect texture and the spice was exactly what it promised, spicy and garlic, without being too spicy. Brought out the depths of the sweetness of the prawns beautifully. Ribs! I almost forgot the ribs. Lol. Juicy, very well cooked with a nice sweet BBQ sauce. A touch fatty, but I like mine well done and forgot to ask. Otherwise, amazing. Dessert, White Chocolate Brownie. Sadly it fell victim to our spoons as soon as it hit the table, but I managed 2 pictures before it's demise. Think of a brownie, then add coconut, then add ice cream, with a pinch of WTF was that awesomeness and multiply that by 100! With an expertly drizzled combination of chocolate and white chocolate sauce on the plate. I wish you could have eaten it! All in all, absolutely, 100%, recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing meal. Hands down, you will not be disappointed.

We arrived and were directed to a table in the room for large parties. There were 2 parties occupying tables and one was a little loud. The table only had 9 seats so we told the waitress and they put a few chairs at the ends of the tables. Not ideal considering we had a reservation and one chair was sticking out. But another staff person added a chair to make it more comfortable. The buffet is set up past the lobby of the hotel. The first table has the plates, yogurts, and small boxes of cereals to choose from. To the left is the breakfast area with pancakes, waffles, French toast, and the long line for made to order omelettes. There was a carving station for ham too. There was the syrup, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream too. Past the omelette station was a vegetable tray, cheese tray, and a few salads, seafood, and sushi area. In the middle section offered of lunch and breakfast items. The lunch items included huge cabbage rolls, chicken, pork chops, ribs, asparagus, pasta, and a taco station. Breakfast items were sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, chunky potatoes, and eggs benedict. The dessert section had fruit and chocolate fountain, variety of squares, and pudding and jello cups. My first plate I had a sausage, waffle, eggs, and potatoes. I didn't overload so I also tried a cabbage roll. I really liked the cabbage roll with the mixture of meat and rice. The waffle still had some crispiness and not soggy like it can be in buffets. I went back to try some lunch items. Had a few pieces of sushi, shrimp, pasta, and pork chop. The food was alright and nothing really stood out as delicious. It was a typical buffet with lots of variety but the freshness and quality not quite there as when you go to a restaurant and have it made to order. It could be enjoyed if you are looking for a brunch to accommodate lots of people as long as they don't mess up your reservation!

I've tried the pizza bread, nachos and both Cajun chicken and grilled cheese sandwiches, all of which were tasty and all of which were in the $6-9 range. The beer is cheap and cold, although I'll never forget the conversation when I first sat down: Waitress: "What'll you have to drink?" Me: "What kind of beers do you have on tap?" Waitress: "Canadian." Me: "I'll have a Canadian." Service here is very good. The ladies who have served me remember my name, and are always warm. Mary in particular is a totally amazing server, and one of my favourite waitresses in the city - I look forward to seeing her every time I go! Make no mistake though, these servers know how rough around the edges their clientele can be, and they don't take crap. I can tell. Karaoke nights are hilarious and just as unpretentious as the rest of the Hawkeye's experience. Go on a Thursday-Saturday night and find out for yourself! I jumped on the chance because I love the pizzas here. They have a soft doughy crust. So we ventured here for lunch. It wasn't too full, and it took a while for someone to notice and get us seated. We actually debated leaving, however finally they seated us, it was all good. (Hence why it looses a star). Atmosphere is pretty typical for a craft brewery. I am not a huge sports bar fan, and I was pleased to see that TVs were not a focus here. Menu is good. Lots of different things to try, but they are well known for their pizzas. Great selection of beers. Also an okay selection of cocktails and wine. I am on medication, so I tried a "near beer" can that they offered and I was pleased with the flavour. I wish they would have a non alcoholic that is more local on tap. Hubby because of driving went with a coke. We decided on two pizzas - PB & J which contained roasted pineapple, smoked bacon, fresh jalapeño, mozzarella, brick blend and the Animal Style -Ezzo pepperoni, seasoned beef, bacon, pizza sauce, crushed chilis, Grana Padano. Both came out hot and fresh and tasty. I enjoyed my toppings better, however my husband's pizza sauce was absolutely perfect. Service (once we were seated) was pleasant. We received some chocolate dipped strawberries as a customer appreciation gift and that was lovely. My goal is to try all the pizzas. Give it a go if you like Detroit style pizzas.

The brewpub has certainly been seeing its time in the sun for several years now with the popularity…read moreof microbreweries reaching its peak. Edmonton is no different than anywhere else in the fact that our restaurantscape has been dotted with more and more local breweries - which is cool and all - but the part that has caught my attention is the elevation and refinement that has also evolved. Gone are the days when the average pub is slinging a beer in your general direction and calling it a day. Now there are chefs involved, complete dining programs, and entire concepts. It's more than just a boozy good time (but it's also still that). One of the standouts in this game is Campio Brewing Co., which first opened its doors in 2018 and have since expanded to a second location. In a previous life the original restaurant operated as Characters Fine Dining for twenty some years, which is why the space might feel familiar. (I remember dining at Characters in my 20s and believing that it was the height of luxury.) Voted Best Brewpub 2025 by EDify Magazine, Campio has positioned itself as a reliable standby when it comes to beers and eats Downtown, and they ain't slowing down anytime soon. I visited on a Monday evening, only half realizing that it was also an Oilers home game night. At only a seven minute walk away from Rogers Place, you can be sure that the place will be positively packed with jersey-wearing fans, the majority of which who are grabbing a bite before gametime. This was absolutely the case during my visit, and while it was crowded there's something about the buzz of a hockey night that feels pretty special. Peering through the sea of blue and orange in the main dining area, it was clear that tables were at a premium. I had no idea that there was additional seating downstairs but quickly learned as the hostess lead the way down the stairs. The basement appears to be the brewery itself, lined with fermentation tanks and wooden aging barrels. The picnic-style tables are communal. While it's not as nice as upstairs and certainly feels like an overflow area, it is kind of neat to be sitting where all of the brewery magic happens. (Think of when you try to go camping but the campground is already full, so they just stick you in a big empty field with the rest of the extras.) The main upstairs dining area is expansive, rich in wood, and feels historic. You'll find exposed brick and the same epic wooden pillars that exist in many of the old buildings downtown. But the best table in the entire restaurant? That would be the elevator shaft room - now converted into a small dining area. The elevator buttons are still on the wall! Our server was super personable and friendly, genuinely seeming like she was having a good time. Campio is obviously known for their 16 rotating craft beers on draft brewed right in the restaurant itself. They also sell their beer in cans (covered in beautiful artwork) which can be found in liquor stores everywhere, as well as offsale at the brewery itself. My husband is a big fan of their seasonal Once in Oaxaca (a prickly pear horchata sour). I, myself, am not much of a beer drinker so I was pleased to find a list of house cocktails to choose from - way more my jam. The Iced Edmonton Fog (Baileys, Cointreau, Amaretto, walnut bitters, earl grey tea - $14.50) sounded really delicious and fun. (They also make beer cocktails!) The flavour profile of this drink is right up my alley! The combination of almond, walnut and earl grey sounds cozy and delicious! However, I found that I wanted even more flavour from each sip. The beverage tasted quite watered down and could've been more full-bodied. It did remind me a lot of a paralyzer though, which I was not mad at. The main concept at Campio is to fuse Edmonton's blue-collar nature and artistic flair into one, serving up whimsy and quality with diverse offerings. I do think that this shows a clear understanding of the clientele in this city and it points toward Campio's success. The menu is fresh, playful, and approachable, offering the kind of food that people actually want to eat in a brewpub today. They've got Fried Pepperoni (With honey mustard - $9.00) on the snacks part of the menu and I'm not one to refuse! A Halifax stable, Edmonton and this Maritime city seem to have a lot in common when it comes to cuisine (RE: the donair). Sliced paper-thin, each ruby-hued round is crispy like a chip. You could easily toss about 20 of these into your mouth and barely notice. I liked the tangy honey mustard to dip into. This dish is like the best part of a pizza without all of the unnecessary rest of it. I'd happily start my meal with these every time! For the main event Campio offers two types of choices; you can opt for a handheld (I've had their Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich before and that tall stack is a good time!) or you can order a Detroit deep dish pizza (which I feel is kinda their "signature thing.") Detroit-style pizza really blew up arou
