When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. They actually forgot to give me a few things during my first pick up, but they called me back a day later and apologized for forgetting things. They scheduled a drop off for me right away and I was able to get all that I wanted. Now that's what you call convenience and great customer service. When I received my stuff, it was all neatly folded in large plastic bags and select shirts were put on hangers. I have laundry in my building, so can't comment on that aspect, but have brought dry cleaning and minor alterations to them with pleasant results. It's a family operated place, and so far all have been very friendly and accommodating. Best of all they have reasonable pricing for dry cleaning and do a good job. I regularly have to bring suit jackets for cleaning and when you're cleaning several items it can add up quickly! Winter coat (wool, long) was $10. Suit jackets $6 each, and resewing a torn inner pocket- $9. Usual time expectation for cleanings is 3-4 days without rush, and the tailoring is about a week. I posted some photos, one of which has the hours but its wicked hard to read. They closed at 8pm Monday, and I think that's about the norm. When in doubt, just call. Anyway, I rarely review, but am happy to have found a place nearby that can be relied upon that won't break the bank!
