I'm sad to say that Kennedy Plaza is actually Scaryville. It's totally a shame, as it's quite lovely and, seeing as it's abutted by a beautiful park and one of the most charming streets in Providence, quite the loss. You see, Kennedy Plaza is in all seriousness the place you should not go at night. It's scary and dangerous. There are even strong men in uniforms stationed there in case you need to be there for some reason. They're there to protect you! Busses run in and out of Kennedy Plaza, so if you're there during the day for a quick transfer or to walk a few blocks, then you're fine. This just isn't the place you want to set up in for a picnic or wait to meet up with friends. There are people there who are dangerous or less than savory - you catch my drift. The architecture surrounding the plaza is quite gorgeous - some of the most iconic in the city, actually and really impressive and it should be seen if you're visiting the city. Just don't hang around here after dark or by yourself.

When you arrive to Providence your like nice! And once you step foot in Kennedy Plaza you just loose hope for humanity.

Let me start by saying Buddy Thomas was great to work with while planning the wedding…read moretransportation. He sent us an email for asking for a review, so this is what I sent: "Thank you so much for reaching out! We were under the impression that our driver would arrive at 1:20pm and leave at 1:30pm to get to the Roger Williams Botanical center for a drop off time of 2:00pm. I believe the driver John arrived early around 1:00pm and started to get antsy that we were not on the bus earlier than 1:20pm. Without introducing himself, he told us to immediately get onto the bus, and proceeded to tell us that he has two more weddings to pickup and he couldn't be late. Myself (the bride) and my mother were the last to board the bus at 1:36pm. I sat in the front seat and watched the clock strike 1:57pm as we were dropped off on time at the Botanical Center. We paid $325.00 to go from my parent's house, which is about a 4 mile/ 15 minute drive to the Botanical Center. My photographer witnessed John's unprofessionalism and reassured me that all transportation vendors act the same way and are the "divas" of the wedding industry. I can say that out of the ten different vendors that I worked with on Saturday, the transportation was in fact the most disappointing. However, Tim raved about your attentiveness when booking the transportation, and had a pleasant experience with you. I know everyone is entitled to an "off" day, but a company is only as good as its worst employee. " What I ended up dealing with in the morning, made me feel better about my choice of selecting a different form of transportation leaving the venue.

Can I go any lower than 1-star? It's been almost two weeks since my experience here, but after…read morereviewing my credit card statements for the past month, I'm reminded of my terrible experience here. First, the desk attendant might as well not exist because if you ask him/her a question, they don't bother to help you. For example, I asked them if my bus was running late and the only response I received was an immediate and default "yes". C'mon, really? There's a computer in front of you and you can't even bother to check? After believing that the bus is on time, I wait outside in the near zero degree weather and, after FORTY-FIVE minutes past the scheduled arrival, it arrives. On time...right. My next complaint is probably for Greyhound as an entity. The drivers I worked with this past month were all incompetent, apathetic, and power-tripping. People were smoking cigarettes on the bus and the driver did nothing. People drank to a stupor in the back and filled the restroom with putrid vomit and the driver did nothing. Oh, and if the driver is running late, can you have them not take it out on the customers? Just because you're behind schedule doesn't mean you get to freak out on your customers.

I can see this place being a real aggravating experience if I was to pick someone up mid-day. My…read moreoverall impression of the place was that it wasn't too bad. I picked someone up about ten minutes later than they should've arrived. Still, that wasn't too long of a wait. 4 stars

I'm 19 years old and was traveling alone from Philly to Hyannis, and I'm still not very confident with traveling on my own. What really made this experience so good was the driver. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and kind, but the driver especially stood out. He was a bald man with glasses and a big beard, and he was genuinely one of the sweetest and most caring people I've met while traveling. He was patient with everyone, calm, respectful, and made sure people were okay throughout the ride. That kind of hospitality is honestly hard to find nowadays. Usually traveling stresses me out a lot, but for the first time I actually felt relaxed and comfortable during the trip. He made the whole experience feel safe and easy, and I'm really thankful for that. So thank you again to him and the company for such a great experience.
