Very spacious and smooth ride! I very solidly built Bus, Our driver maintained the speed limit since my seat was right behind him! This trip was a Chartered affair and our Hosts very Professional and friendly that each Patron boarded the Bus she checked off your name and you had over 50 seats to choose from! All comfortable plus in the back a restroom to accommodate anyone that might need it! Once we arrived at our destination the driver opened the door and placed a step stool to make it much easier to disembark the bus! That small consideration was a great help to many on board! Once we all left the bus, he drove away till it was time for our excursion pickup time! The Bus was on Time! We did not have to wait a minute more especially being outside in the summer heat! Once reboarding we were off to return to our original location of pick up! All in all the day went as planned and I would take this Bus Company BLOOM BUS LINES AGAIN! Thank you

We would track our child on Life360, and she never went over the speed limit, and our child always mentioned how comfortable she was being on a drive on the bus. Never late for school - in time to have breakfast before her classes start. All the kids we've spoken to (our child's friends) love her as well. Runs a tight ship, and also fun with the kids.

The only person I could get ahold of was the manager Marge who was no help, told me I would have to talk to the bus driver to resolve it. After taking my callback number a couple times & still no word from the bus driver, the manager ensures me an apology should be fine as the bus drivers are understanding. Yet they STILL denied my child on the bus!! I CALLED AGAIN after I heard from her school that the bus won't take her, the manager tells me to call back at a certain time to talk to the bus driver as they will be back in the building at that time. I called back on the dot & she sends me straight to the bus drivers voicemail. I called back asking to speak to the bus driver directly instead of going to voicemail & she tells me the bus driver has left for the day!! She had taken my number countless times to have the bus driver call me back, knew I've been trying to get in touch with the driver & yet I cannot get ahold of them!! I don't know what's worse, the management or the way this is being handled!!! Like the manager MARGE said "Kids are kids!!" How hard is it to call back a concerned mother??? Please make it make sense. If I could give this place negative stars I would! I've never dealt with such terrible service!! Needs new management!

The trailer is small with about 10-15 seating and 1 unisex bathroom. No snacks or vending machines on the premises. Once on board its open seating and you can move about the 3 levels of the ferry. Lower and 2nd deck has electrical outlets. Bring your own snacks, drinks, book to read, a light sweater for your arms, cards to pass the time. Go during the week, the ferry was 1/4 full. The ferry is an excellent way to visit the Rose Island lighthouse and the downtown area of Newport, RI. The ferry staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. They suggested to use some local favorite restaurants, and other sightseeing attractions while we were visiting the area.

Perfect day trip--great way to explore Newport and Jamestown…read more While winging it around Newport this past weekend, our thoughtful server at the White Horse Tavern recommended we check out the Jamestown Newport Ferry--and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We arrived casually at the dock around 10 AM and hopped on without much planning. Our first stop was Fort Adams, where we enjoyed some surprisingly interesting historical sights. The timing was perfect--about an hour and ten minutes later, the next ferry arrived and took us to Rose Island Lighthouse. That visit was a standout. The guide was excellent, and we were fascinated to learn you can actually stay overnight at the lighthouse--definitely something we're planning to do in the future. (Fair warning: if you're not a fan of birds or geese, you might want to skip this stop.) Next, we cruised over to Jamestown, where the ferry crew recommended the Narraganset tavern and dinner at JB's on the Water. Enjoyed both. We were back in Newport by around 7 PM, totally relaxed, and without ever feeling rushed. Fine people, friendly staff, no stress--just a great way to experience the bay. I highly recommend the Jamestown Newport Ferry if you're visiting the area.

I get it trips get cancelled when there aren't enough people signed up for it. But in this case, they didn't even bother to tell me/us. Even got the confirmation/reminder email the day before. So being at the pickup point and its 5 minutes after we're supposed to leave, I call them to see what's going on and then they tell me it got cancelled and I should've been told Tuesday, but obviously wasn't and again, even got the confirmation/reminder email the day before. As someone that doesn't get a lot of time out work to burn a day off with nothing to show for it is extremely frustrating, and honestly, I just can't risk getting burned again. The owner Ted called later that day offering to make it right and I was refunded the money for the trip and the other trip I cancelled but I can't risk burning another day off with nothing to show for it. The people have always been nice, so I won't completely knock them, but beware even getting a confirmation email the day doesn't mean the trip is happening.

I joined Experience Rhode Island Tours on their A Day on Martha's Vineyard tour. There were three…read moredeparture locations: Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, RI, Visitor information Center at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI, and the main entrance of Hampton Inn New Bedford in Fairhaven, MA. Ted picked us up from the Visitor information Center two minutes prior to 7:00am. The mini coach bus was pretty full from the first pickup location. We then went on our way to the third pickup location. After our mini coach bus was full, we crossed Bourne Bridge to Woods Hole Terminal in Cape Cod to take a 45 minute Steamship Authority's ferry ride to Oak Bluffs. The ferry ride was smooth. When we got to Oak Bluffs, Ted told us about the history of Martha's Vineyard and gave us a map. First, we went to the fishing village of Menemsha for lunch and I walked to Menemsha Public Beach. Stanley Larsen, owner of Menemsha Fish Market, came on board the bus and showed us the jaws of a great white shark he caught in 1983 while swordfishing. Next, we went to the Aquinnah Cliffs Overlook to admire the beautiful cliffs of Aquinnah and Gay Head Light. This was my favorite part of the whole trip. Then, we explored the lovely harbor of shops and homes in Edgartown. I walked to the Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse, which is very close to Harbor View Hotel. Ted talked to us about the Chappaquiddick incident that occurred sometime around midnight, between July 18 and 19, 1969, while standing in front of the Harbor View Hotel looking out at the Poucha Pond. On the way to Oak Bluffs, we stopped at the "Jaws Bridge," a popular spot for jumping into the water despite signs prohibiting it. Lastly, we saw the gingerbread cottages and the tabernacle of Oak Bluffs. We then took the Steamship Authority's ferry ride from Vineyard Haven back to Woods Hole Terminal. We returned to Visitor information Center at the Rhode Island Convention Center about 7:30pm. Everyone on the trip were very respectful of the time Ted told us to return to the bus and were very friendly. This was a wonderful, fun, informational day trip to New England's most popular island and I am so glad I got to explore Martha's Vineyard for the first time with Experience Rhode Island Tours. Ted took us on a tour of the entire island, exploring its six towns. The tour included admission to Martha's Vineyard ferry, narrated tour, and round-trip transportation to and from the ferry, and transportation throughout the day on the Vineyard. Experience Rhode Island Tours always does a great job with their tours and I am looking forward to what other tours they plan in the future!
