Almost every time I have had a driver named Jill. She's super nice and made sure the bathroom was clean and trash was emptied before people boarded the bus. Great communication too, last time it was during a snow storm, she was very informative. So far every time, everything has been great. Also, I had to make a change to a reservation and within 5 mins of sending the email I received a call, unfortunately I was unable to answer it. Then a bit later received another and was told that my reservation issue was all set. Thank you to the 2 women that called and thank you Go buses! Greatly appreciated! I look forward to many more trips with you.

The inconsistency of the buses is a problem. Sometimes they do not arrive on time and passengers have to wait out in the cold or weather for 20-30-20 minutes before the bus arrives. Other times, the WiFi does not work, that is a problem if you plan on using it for 3-4 hours and it does not work. Most of the drivers are polite and helpful. Still, a low cost option out of Providence...not top in terms of customer service though.

After canceling services, I was told multiple times by Laurie that my refund had been "processed." Weeks went by. No refund. No receipt. No paperwork. No proof of anything. Laurie comes across as sweet and reassuring on the phone, but that tone does not match the follow-through. I never received proper documentation, receipts, or confirmation emails unless I repeatedly chased them down. Each time I followed up, I was told the refund was already handled. It wasn't. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my bank to recover my money, despite being assured over and over that the refund was complete. Only after escalating externally did anything move forward. What's most frustrating is realizing this is a pattern, not a one-off mistake. The reviews warning about double charges, delayed refunds, and deceptive communication are accurate. I experienced the same thing step by step. Getting your money back should not require a bank dispute.

Catching the bus in Manhattan can be a little hidden since you don't really see the sign for Go Buses unless you walk down W 30th Street between 9th and 10th ave. If you're in Providence I recommend catching the bus in Brown University instead of on Canal St because the bus back home is always packed.
