I wish I had trusted the existing Yelp reviews, because my experience was exactly the same. Ultimate Limousine (also operating under Royal Limousines) was a nightmare from a financial and communication standpoint. After canceling services, I was told multiple times by Laurie that my refund had been "processed." Weeks went by. No refund. No receipt. No paperwork. No proof of anything. Laurie comes across as sweet and reassuring on the phone, but that tone does not match the follow-through. I never received proper documentation, receipts, or confirmation emails unless I repeatedly chased them down. Each time I followed up, I was told the refund was already handled. It wasn't. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my bank to recover my money, despite being assured over and over that the refund was complete. Only after escalating externally did anything move forward. What's most frustrating is realizing this is a pattern, not a one-off mistake. The reviews warning about double charges, delayed refunds, and deceptive communication are accurate. I experienced the same thing step by step. Getting your money back should not require a bank dispute. read more

What we booked for our wedding day was not what we received, and the vehicles that did arrive were late, unsuitable, and caused unnecessary stress. Some elderly members of our party couldn't even use the limo that arrived, and the delays affected our wedding pictures. To make matters worse, the transportation services we paid for for our guests never showed up at all, resulting in our guests having to arrange Ubers, and the company never informed us--we only discovered the issue ourselves well after the scheduled time. Overall, there was bad communication and unprofessional behavior. The refund process was difficult as well--we only received a partial refund, and many of our calls to resolve the situation were ignored or never returned. Worst Compamy in Ri. She doesn't even own any limo. She's strictly a broker that uses other companies to provide service and charges over the top fees. BUT that's not the worst part, she won't pay the actual limo company their portion of the service. She steals and is a liar. If you think your getting a trolley, you might end up with a beat up shuttle bus and pay all the money. She won't refund you and she will make every excuse in the book. Horrible communication, lied about having the limo for 4 hrs at a low rate gave different stories every time I spoke with her she didn't even know who she was calling when she returned my call apparently it was a missed call. Horrible! Don't let Laurie's sweet, calming words and demeanor fool you. She lies and is deceptive. It was a disaster from the beginning. Resesrved and paid in full but never received an email confirmation with receipt until I called her several times to get it. My credit card was charged twice and she also charged my daughter's credit card for my reservation! Took over 6 weeks for each of us to get our refund. Needed two vehicles for my daughter's wedding. My daughter reserved a white Trolley bus for her wedding party and I reserved a white limousine for my daughter to bring her to the church. I called Laurie several times before the date to assure I get a WHITE limousine and asked for photos of the vehicle I reserved. She said the photos of her fleet are online and she told me not to worry, she will take care of us and assure my daughter's wedding day transportation will be beautiful. Neither vehicle was provided. The trolley never arrived and what we did get was an advertisement BLACK bus with marketing design on the outside of the vehicle, JOSHUA'S WORLDWIDE GROUND TRANSPORTATION!!! This is what she considers a WHITE Limousine. She contracts through a third party. At the scheduled hour, myself, my son, our wedding coordinator were calliing her and she could not be reached until past the hour we needed to start heading to the church. Trolley was supposedlin in a fenderbender, yet we were not notified and that BLACK advertisement vehicle was the limousine! Horrendous! She would not refund me any credit as she did not provide me what I paid for and my daughter didn't get her refund for the trolley she never got until 6 weeks after the event!! Well not giving a 1 star for their service with the Trolley I reserved for my daughters wedding. The driver was on time and courteous. This company is getting a 1 star from me because they have charged my credit card 3 times! 3 charges for the same amount When I showed proof it was charged THREE TIMES they said "Well I don't know how this happened." "Accounting only comes in on Thursdays" "It's refunded you should have it by (a date)" "I promise you it was refunded" Well it's been weeks and still no refund. Paid for 5 hrs with tax, a service charge and tip included. I got the drivers # because we had multiple pick up and drop offs. The bridal court & grooms men at were picked up at 3 different locations. Used it for a total of 2 hours, but whatever. It was a contract I signed. However the driver did NOT get his tip I pre-paid for and told me this company hires out for everything. He told me the woman I have been dealing with since the first phone call back in November, Lori is the owner. The only person I have spoken to. The owner and she doesn't know how this happened? Still waiting on that refund and considering taking them to court now., only to waste my time & more expenses. But a total of $6575.64 charged to my CC for a 2 hours usage. No one showed we were calling with no one answering after 20 min we found one white stretch prom- like vehicle was at the wrong address 5 min away and no shuttle buses would be coming. They had no shuttle buses to send they had both broken down?!! Obviously everyone was very upset as we scrambled to get transportation and we were over an hour late to the rehearsal dinner. Over this past weekend my family and I had an awesome experience with this company Ultimate Limousine Car Service. From the start of the first call which was made two months ago. The Customer service rep was very helpful with all my questions and concern. Now the day of the event of my aunts 80th Birthday party was perfect. The color scheme with the napkins within the glasses inside of the stretch limousine matched our color scheme of the event also. My Aunt was so happy she cried. I rented a limo to escort a group for a wedding dress fitting in Boston. We finished our service today. First I must say joe was courteous and professional. But the car was so very disappointing. I purposely asked the condition of the car when I booked and was assured it was impeccable. So not true. The car was broken on the outside and musty smelling and old on the inside. My Son got married this past weekend and they used Ultimate for there transportation. Dennis the driver of the Coach was awesome went out of his way (literally) to make sure all our guests got to where they needed to be at the end of our long day... on the final trip home i left a Bose blue tooth surround sound speaker on the bus. I called the company the next day to ask if they found it. Got a call Monday not only did they find it but they delivered it to me in Boston the next day... This is the worst transportation service I ever hired. We hired this service to take us from Cranston to Boston for a show. They called the day before asking if they can move our trip an hour later because one fo their buses broke down, I explained we had show tickets band couldn't be late. Then the day of they called 2hours before pick up time saying the limo was hit by a truck and that they were going to be 30mins late. The limo was 1 hour late! The driver also stopped for gas and had to turn off the limo. We we're sitting in the heat with no ac. We got to the show almost 2 hours. It ruined the party for sure. On top of missing the show they also fought us to reimburse the time we weren't in the limo. Also charged the gratuity to my card which they definitely did not deserve. My wedding was 10/24/21. We hired one limo from this company to pick up my husband and his groomsmen and drop them off at the venue. That same limo was then supposed to pick up myself and bridesmaids and drop us off at the venue. My ceremony was at 3:30 pm, and I was supposed to have a first look with my husband. (Limo company was fully aware of this). Mind you all pick up and drop off locations we're within 15 minutes of each other. Well their driver shows up at my grooms place of getting ready at 12 o clock in the afternoon. Now with the ceremony starting at 3:30 this made zero sense. My groom and his party entered the limo around 1 pm and the driver took a completely unnecessary "scenic route" and had my groom dropped off to the venue by 1:40 or so. (Again I want to reiterate everything was within a 15 minute drive of each other) So then here's me, the bride on her wedding day. It's 2:40 PM (ceremony starts at 3:30 and I'm supposed to have a first look) and I haven't been picked up for my wedding!!!! I called this place 1000 times and got an answering machine every single time. Which even if their office is closed on Sunday's there should always be someone to take calls in case of emergency which this clearly was!!! Long story short, I had to have one of my bridesmaids mothers SPEED me to my own wedding, wedding guests arrived before me and many saw me before my big moment. My first look was completely ruined by stress and tears of what had just happened, and this company had the AUDACITY to completely blame everything on my husband "coming out an hour late once the driver arrived to pick him up". ABSURD, your driver shouldn't have shown up that early to begin with, and even so, my groom was left at the venue at 1:40 PM, it should not have taken the driver over an hour to come get the bride!!!! I received nothing but excuses from this company about why they weren't in the wrong, and at the end of the day it took FIVE months for us to receive only a 50% refund for DESTROYING our wedding day. TERRIBLE COMPANY AND SERVICE! LIMO WAS LEAKING ON THE BRIDE GROOM AND WEDDING PARTY!! Ultimate Limousine was the worst company I have ever worked with. My daughter in law hired them to provide transportation from the hotel to the venue for wedding party and the gusts staying at the hotel. It was a very rainy day. The driver showed up in jeans, not the black suit that was promised, did not have an umbrella and did not open the door for the bride and groom or any one else for that matter. Upon getting in the car, my son, the groom got wet as there was a leak in the sun roof. The driver then went to pick up the wedding party and they all got their dresses wet and my daughter had to hold a cup to collect the water that was pouring in. Upon hearing this, I called the company to see what was going on. The person who answered was rude and dismissive. She did contact the driver who said he fixed the problem. The bride's mother (who paid for the service) ended up driving to the reception because she did not want to get wet. My husband and I also drove my parents as we did not want to get wet. As it turns out, the problem was not fixed as many guests told me that when it was raining, the roof was leaking and they did get wet. Other guests had to old cups to collect the water too. The whole situation was upsetting and embarrassing as we felt like we let our guests down. I called the company the Monday after the wedding and they said they would look into it. They did admit that the wedding party got wet but that the problem was solved after that. After several phone calls and emails, I was told we would be credited for half the amount. They then went back on their word and only credited $400. I feel that this deserved a full refund as we did not get the service that was promised. The fact that the bride, groom and the wedding party got wet on their way to pictures is inexcusable and warranted a full refund. I've used limo services in the past on several occasions and for various reasons. This limo company met all and exceeded some of my expectations last night. The car arrived 10 minutes early, was cleaned in and out, the driver was nicely dressed and was friendly and very professional. He made several stops that I requested on route to our destination and although these stops were not part of my original itinerary. After the party, we were driven home in the same expeditious manner. All in all the limo and the service provided completed an enjoyable night. Great customer service! I called a few days before a limo service was needed and they were able to accommodate us and book the transportation service for our company. The driver was on time and treated the birthday recipient who turned 102 with great service and was wonderful with her. Received confirmation via e-mail within minutes of book on the phone.
