I had made a few calls looking for a car service and the fees are quite high. I have been left in awkward situations by car share app service in the past and wanted to be sure we had a ride this trip. Gary's fee was more reasonable than the other companies I contacted and he seemed conscientious on the phone. Morning of our pick up Gary sent a text about 15 minutes before hand to let us know he was on his way. He pulled up and sent another text. He has a comfortable, clean vehicle with a good amount of space for bags. He's friendly and polite and we had a nice, easy going conversation during our 30 minute ride. We paid via Venmo, he helped with the bags and had a friendly good-bye, Gary wishing us good travels. We would definitely use Gary's car service again. You can't imagine how wonderful it is to get off a plane, grab your luggage and just step outside the terminal to find a member of Rachel's team waiting for you. If you are thinking of doing it yourself here is a reason why you should not. We ran into a family on our vacation that drove to Logan and find the parking garages full. They had to valet their car without knowing where it was going. When they arrive at Logan after their flight, they have to go to the parking garage and find a valet. After canceling services, I was told multiple times by Laurie that my refund had been "processed." Weeks went by. No refund. No receipt. No paperwork. No proof of anything. Laurie comes across as sweet and reassuring on the phone, but that tone does not match the follow-through. I never received proper documentation, receipts, or confirmation emails unless I repeatedly chased them down. Each time I followed up, I was told the refund was already handled. It wasn't. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my bank to recover my money, despite being assured over and over that the refund was complete. Only after escalating externally did anything move forward. What's most frustrating is realizing this is a pattern, not a one-off mistake. The reviews warning about double charges, delayed refunds, and deceptive communication are accurate. I experienced the same thing step by step. Getting your money back should not require a bank dispute.
