There was no pressure to close the deal now or anything, just happy to answer my questions and let me make the decision. A few months later, I finally reached back out to start the work. Dustin promptly got me on the schedule. Austin then came out to verify everything and help make sure I had the materials I would need. The team always communicated very well. Made sure I knew when they would arrive and any impacts to the timeline, which included keeping me posted on shipping delays of our shower pan. Austin came in and on the first day, made sure to lay down tarps and other floor protection as needed to protect the parts not under construction. He made sure he understood my vision for the tile and then went to work. He dealt with common remodeling issues, like a slightly out of plumb wall, very well. Bottom line, Young Tile is an excellent partner who is well worth the value they are providing to your tile project.

Boy was I wrong! Horrible service, higher prices, and awful finish work. Never showed up on time, or just showed up without calling and expected to get in. Talked me into putting travertine in the bathrooms, and had to replace all of it due to cracking and chipping. Showed up at my house with the wrong granite, {not the one I picked out) then argued with me that I had picked it out. This is after they had already torn everything else out in every bathroom. Ended up with a low grade generic granite you would see in any Home Depot. The worst part is Cecila. What an awful woman! She lied to me throughout the whole process, and was unbearable to deal with. Can not believe she is still in business.

The quality of the work they did on the flooring was wonderful, the stairs however were a mess from the start. It wasnt communicated clearly how the stairs would look, I'll take half blame for that as I should've asked more questions. We had them back to remove the stairs they did and paid to upgrade to wood stairs. The quality is fine, but far from impressive. They had to redo the landing 3 times because they accidentally stripped the stain off it twice when they sealed it. At a glance they look fine, but a minute or two of looking will show sloppy work, risers and treads that don't match, trim that is several shades darker than the floor, risers or treads. If you have a one story home, I'd recommend this company. If stairs are involved, look elsewhere. Photos attached.

I was not satisfied with way the master bathroom tile in the shower and floor turned out. Big gaps in the grout and against the floorboards, no apologies, and just excuses. Also, wasn't happy that I didn't receive the vanity we discussed-- I requested a floating vanity and was told that was what I was getting, but that is not what was delivered. The workers left a pile of their meal garbage in the work area each day and left garbage from the work they did scattered throughout the front yard. Such a mess! I expected better time management. They started my job-- but then I guess they have other jobs that were deemed more important so my project dragged on much longer than expected. Since the real estate market was so volatile, I believe the delays costs us money when we were finally able to get the house on the market. I also expected the Rojas Family Tile would handle payment processing in a more professional manner. Asking me to lie on PayPal or Venmo by stating this was a "friends & family" transaction is not a professional business practice. Processing fees are part of your business expenses-- I know because I have run several businesses. Hopefully, things have improved with Rojas Family Tile since we used them in 2021. But based on my experience with them, I wouldn't recommend them.
