One reason is that they do so much philanthropic work, like hosting events where a certain percentage goes to a non-profit, in-kind donations, and more! I have only been to this location once and it may have just been an off day, but I had to wait quite awhile to be acknowledged by staff. First time visiting a Kendra Scott store! Very excited to see a huge selection and variety of price and styles of necklaces, bracelets, and Ri gs to choose from. The staff was all very friendly and didn't pressure you at all, but helped find style to fit the styles of customers! The staff were all dressed in the classic yellow and looked super professional but modern and comfortable! I've love Kendra Scott jewelry and have been wearing most of my pieces for 10+ years. While I have never shopped in this location previously, I did have a fantastic experience recently. A necklace I was looking for online was sold out, but it showed in stock at this location. I called the store before I drove down and they confirmed they had the necklace and put it on hold for me. As soon as I got to the store, I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any help. They showed me my necklace at the counter and still helped me shop around the store. Honestly it was fantastic customer service. My cashier at the end was kind as well. The sales team was very knowledgeable about their products too! I didn't shop in person, but placed an online order for pickup and was given 3 days to pickup before my order would be cancelled. I'd never been to the Fashion Valley location before, but they moved locations from what's on the map. My issue with this store is really the manager's lack of understanding policy when it comes to returns. My friend bought a pair of earrings for her friend and within five minutes of putting them in her ears she broke out in an itchy rash so when she asked to return them, the store manager claimed that the 30 days since purchase had passed, but in actuality, the law is 30 days from the date the item was delivered which had not passed! She refused to give a refund and instead gave store credit, which is something she did not want but accepted because she had no choice. As a manager you should understand policy! read more

I bought an item from this store in Fashion Valley. They did not tell me that I could not return the item. When I was purchasing the item (they already started the transaction) the person helping me left to help another person because another employee asked them to. I waited there for a couple of minutes and another employee finished the transaction. Then they left without giving me any receipt or telling me if the transaction was complete. I stood there for another few minutes and the person who originally started the transaction came by. She asked if I had already paid and I pointed at the laptop and she gave me my receipt. Also, they will ask you for your email and phone number and other personal information. But they don't tell you what it is for and I assumed it was for a receipt. Turns out they signed me up for an account/email subscription that I did not want. I would like to return my item rather than store credit or exchanging it. This was a bad experience, unprofessional. I don't like writing bad reviews. I went to another store to return and I told them I want to return it and I had a bad experience. They refused and then they offered to hold my item as if I planned to steal. This is really unprofessional. read more

A co-worker had bought some items and wore them to work. I like the items and asked where she purchased them. She told me I had to check out this store. She also mentioned to me they offer one half price item during your birthday month. I ventured to the store while doing some Christmas shopping and was greeted immediately. I was asked if I needed help and I said I was just looking around. She then explained the layout of the store and showed me where the new items were. I browsed around for a bit which was a tad difficult since I had my 7 year old with me but everyone was very nice to him and made him feel welcome. I found a necklace I fell in love with and asked about the half off during your birthday month. They said yes they offer that deal, you just need to show your driver's license. Check out was quick and easy and my receipt was emailed to me. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The store was nicely organized and clean. My best friend and I both have March birthdays so we came in last night to get each other a present with are 50% off birthday discount. The color bar was such a fun experience. The ladies working there's been a lot of time with us in picking out stones for the earring and bracelet that we made. We never felt rushed and they took a lot of time to get it just right for us. You can also have parties at the color bar where you can bring friends, have champagne and snacks and make jewelry together. I bought two different pairs of earrings for my birthday, a young girl with blonde hair "helped" me, she had no idea what she was doing and was giving me different answers, although she was super sweet but it was clear it was a lack of management and training especially considering that management didn't seem to know what they were doing either. I bought a 100$ dollar pair of earrings that I didn't check upon receiving till I got home and realized the clasp in the back was broken. I went in today to exchange the broken pair of earrings I bought for my birthday and was told that since I didn't have a paper receipt I wasn't able to return and they didn't have the pair of earring in the back, I'm assuming it was a manager who was "helping" me because she was as clueless as her other staff, that young blonde girl had told me she would email my receipt and I never received one. I had to wait till they got it back store even though I got them for a trip next week. Abby was no help whatsoever, it was her staffs mistake they never emailed my receipt and she offered no store credit or any help whatsoever. They need to train these girls better because they are walking around trying to sell very expensive jewelry and are clueless of the protocols, I was told different things on both visits. I went in this evening to support a friend who was hosting an event at Kendra Scott. Also I wanted to pick up a last minute gift for my mother. Lia (sales associate) helped me pick out two items, a bracelet and necklace. She was very tentative and helpful showing all the options and style. They have this really cool "Color Bar" concept where you can customize about almost any piece of jewelry in their store. The quality of the jewelry seems very good and crafted. I'm not a big jewelry fan but when it comes to their jewelry I get all giddy inside. I'm a very simple person and their Elisa necklaces are the perfect necklace for me. They come in all different colors so you can have 1 for every outfit. For a nice jewelry store there jewelry doesn't seem too overpriced. Depending on which Elisa necklace you get they can range from $50 to $80 and for your birthday you can get 50% off one item. Woohoo! ID required. Another really cool thing about their store is their color bar. They can make a piece for you if they don't have it available. My last visit here I came in looking for a specific necklace that they didn't have in the store, the lady says "no problem we can make it for you at our color bar" *oohhh* this was my first experience with the color bar. She took me to a screen on the wall where she pulled up the style I wanted and I confirmed that was what I wanted. She went over to the color bar and grabbed out the chain and jewels and let me pick one out and then began putting it together. $25 dollars later (with the 50% off) and I was a happy girl read more

For me, the millennial generation really showed when I walked in. It reminded me of a fresh bunch of sorority girls beaming Me! Me! Me! Gotta say, I was pretty disappointed this past Monday night when I went in specifically to purchase at least 3 items for my birthday. I LOVE that they give you a discount on 1 item for your birthday, and I already knew what items I wanted to buy since I go there all the time and was excited for a new set of necklace/bracelet/earrings! This is the store I typically go to since they are usually so friendly and helpful. The salesperson who was helping us was new, and she was really nice. (Note: I was annoyed that I had to ask her 3 times for a glass of champagne - it is a nice little perk that they offer, and I was celebrating my birthday. The bottle was on the counter, I could have just poured it myself, but if I was going to do that then I might as well just be at home in my jammies saving money not buying jewelry!) Very odd situation with this company. And, it's in a continuum of sorts. I bought a ring set a few months ago and every few weeks, one would simply disappear off my fingers. I realized that the studded glass pieces that protruded from the cute little things were getting caught in my hair and on my clothing. Several times, I found them either in my car or dangling in my hair or on the floor. The pinky rings were the first to go for they didn't rest high on my fingers as with anyone who wore them. Eventually, I was down to two rings out of six and then, they had turned some odd color. I attempted to polish them to no avail. I wrote the company and they couldn't find my proof of purchase and it seemed I was out of luck. Then, someone emailed me to try to go into the store and see if they'd be willing to help. I didn't believe they would and put it off until recently. When I did go in, the saleswoman who was lovely at the time said she'd refund the rings at the lowest price and apply it to another purchase. So I found another ring set and paid the difference. By then I had spent over a hundred bucks for costume jewelry that was faulty because one of the new rings somehow somewhere within two hours popped off my finger. I desperately retraced my steps, called the places I had been, searched my car, looked on Craigslist, and gave it a lot of thought. No go. I had received an email inviting me to review the rings and I did so honestly on the Kendra Scott site. The following day I received an email to "confirm my review." I hit the confirm button but I got an error message repeatedly. I sent customer service an email and was told they were working on remedying the situation and that a third party handles it for them. They never resolved it. No surprise. The two products that I bought were plain and simple, poorly designed. I'm active but certainly not wearing rings when I'm engaging my fingers in something bizarre or rigorous. I was told to take them off when getting my hands wet. Try doing that with six rings!!! Nor did I use chemicals that came in contact with my hands. Customer service and the one-time kindly sales woman just dismissed me. I realize that this review is a bit confusing because I'm alternating my comments between both products but they both were not engineered to be worn it seems. I certainly can't be the first customer to experience this. I'm not careless, using, or unaware of my surroundings. I want to take full responsibility but I don't feel that I should. I asked if I could return the remaining ring and was told I could not. The young sales girls at the store are lovely but they're selling faulty products and I've been in there several times and I'm the only customer. Most of the collection doesn't appeal to me as I prefer simple elegance and the designs are odd and bulky. I'd not recommend the store actually mostly because they're being deceitful about their review process. If I were reviewing myself, I wouldn't give myself too many stars but would strive to improve myself as a result. Not hide or pretend. What era do they exist in? They're off, the whole experience. Avoid the place unless you see something you can't live without and now a little tidbit. I was told by the employee there that the founder is from a Texas and that the line at her Texas stores are out the door. I choose to NOT live in Texas for their awful human rights violations. And if Rick Perry wasn't enough to convince you to never go there, a line out the door to an establishment that's dishonest is just a bit more to urge you to REALLY STEER CLEAR!!!
