My husband and I visited Brilliant Earth to look at five year wedding anniversary bands. We met with Deedra, who was sweet knowledgeable and professional. She was excellent and we will be shopping with her again! read more

Terrible quality and worse customer service. I bought an $800 diamond and gold bracelet here less than a year ago, it is totally scratched up after wearing it around the house etc. and the clasp broke 3 times. customer service said there is nothing they will do to fix the clasp bc I took it to an outside jeweler to repair it initially...they never informed me of the policy when i purchased it, but now won't stand by their product and are leaving me with a chronically broken, scratched $800 bracelet that is less than a year old. You can find much better quality at Haverhill or elsewhere, avoid Brilliant Earth, such a rip off and horrendous customer service. read more

Don't just skip this shop... RUN!!! My fiancée, Chris, proposed with a ring from Brilliant Earth in April. And side stones have fallen out not just once, but THREE times. I have had my ring in their repair shop (which is not local) longer than I've been wearing my ring. Customer service is slow, not understanding, and downright painful. I don't wear my ring when I work out, wash dishes, sleep, I don't even wear it every day. Completely unacceptable. And you best believe I have already talked multiple friends out of using them for future business. There is little return on value. I hope they take better measures to reconcile our purchase and offer us a full refund. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! My husband got me a new ring for our 10 year anniversary. The center 3 carat stone popped out walking to dinner. The only thing they could do was offer $645 towards a new band. Laughable. They told me I could purchase a new ring. And keep having the same problem?! Im not the only one and it seems to happen to everyone multiple times. I don't wear my ring daily and never work out in it. But the signs of wear and the gold was cracked. I don't believe it was even real gold. Save your money. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Brilliant Earth and the incredible staff who made this once-in-a-lifetime experience truly special. We were scheduled for a fitting with Farahn, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Farahn was kind, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that both my partner's and my needs were met. As someone with little to no experience with rings--let alone diamonds--she provided clear, helpful information that made us feel confident in our final decision. On behalf of both of us, thank you, Farahn, for making this experience so memorable. We will definitely be back for all of our jewelry needs read more

I can't express how frustrated I am with this company! My now husband purchased an engagement ring for me in April 2025. In August 2025, I came into the UTC store for a resize, since it was too loose, but the lady advised against it since I was pregnant and your ring finger size fluctuates...Well I went back to the store recently for a resize and the lady at the counter said I was out of my 1 year warranty by 2 months, for a complementary resize. I had mentioned that I went in during my 1 year warranty period and asked for one but they wouldn't count that. Are you serious?! I was literally pregnant and I did inquire within my warranty period. I reached out to customer service and they offered me 50% off a new brilliant Earth setting in the correct size. I literally just want my ring resized, and I feel ripped off paying $150 at the store. I could also go on about how difficult it was for my husband to even purchase and receive this ring with their terrible customer support. Save your money and go elsewhere, this company has awful customer service and does not value their customers. read more

My partner and I walked in on a Sunday and received no help or greeting. We were told we'd be helped soon and then when we finally were the lady helping us seemed like she didn't want to help us at all and couldn't care less that we were there. The customer service was terrible and honestly had us leaving there feeling like it was just a weird overall experience. Would not recommend. We have been going to smaller local jewelers and always receive warm welcomes and amazing service. This was weird. read more

We had an appointment to look for engagement rings with Sonder. Sonder was kind, knowledgeable, and very light hearted; and made the experience much more enjoyable than we had expected. Highly recommended with Sonder! read more

I wouldn't recommend. My husband bought me a tennis bracelet for my birthday, and when it needed resizing, they had to ship it out instead of handling it in-store. There's no way to contact the store directly by phone, and appointments are only available online, which made the whole process confusing and frustrating. After dropping it off, I didn't have clear communication about where my bracelet was or what was happening with it. The earliest appointment I could get to discuss the status is three weeks later, only to be told they weren't even sure if it could be resized. The people who work there are very nice but it seems like this is done because of corporate polices. If this was my engagement ring I would be devastated. read more

Don't ever walk in this place making an appointment is hard not only that that sells people in here have zero knowledge about engagement rings. I sat there for 45 minutes and I knew more about Lab Grown diamonds than they did and their prices are very high your best bet is to go to independent Jeweler. read more

Horrible repair service. they ship it out across the country, send an email, make you set an appointment weeks out to discuss the overpriced repair, only to hang up on you during the appointment time and leave you calling back multiple times to get through to people and get your jewelry back. read more

My soon to be Fiancé came into the store looking to try on rings. The Service was poor, which included rudeness, the pressure of being rushed, and frequent interruption. read more

Ive had to take my fiances ring back 3 times in 4 months because accent diamonds keep falling out. Additionally, each time I've sent it back it takes weeks to get the ring back. Awfully time consuming and painful process. Now I'm trying to return it and that process has been equally painful read more

We come here mainly for Sonder. The engagement ring was incredible and Sonder knew exactly what we were looking for just by talking and meeting with us. We also got our wedding rings here and it was an amazing experience overall. Rings were amazing, but Sonder was perfect. Thank you Sonder for your help and patience. Thank you Brilliant Earth for hiring this person. read more

Farahn Koegler was amazing to work with! She was so nice and patient with me picking out the perfect ring. I was so hesitant to pick a wedding band that I loved and she steered me in the right direction to finding something I loved with grace and patience. I recommend for anyone to go see her! read more

My experience at Brilliant Earth was pleasant, smooth and relaxing. Sonder helped me pick out the perfect specs for my engagement ring, going through all the different options available. The thing I appreciated the most was the thoughtfulness and time Sonder took in presenting the options, very knowledgeable, patient and understanding. If you're in the market for an engagement ring, I highly recommend checking out Brilliant Earth! read more

Sonder was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in helping my baby brother pick out a beautiful ring for his girlfriend. What a wonderful experience, you can tell he really enjoys what he does! Thank you Sonder for the top notch service! read more

Incredibly frustrated with Brilliant earth. My husband and I came in before our wedding specifically to talk about adding bands to my stone from another jewelry place in la jolla. We confirmed 2 times that if we bought the bands from Brilliant Earth they would be able to solder the bands to my original engagement ring. I feel like I was lied to as a sales tactic. I love my bands but I am not pleased with being told one thing to get the sale and then being turned away when i'm ready to solder my rings into place. People come to these stores for the ease of being able to get a nice ring and serviced, please let customers know up front you will not be able to blend bands and an engagement ring from a different jeweler together UP FRONT! BEFORE THE PURCHASE! read more

Sonder works WONDERS and is an expert in gems!! Me and my sister had a great time looking at diamonds. Thank you for giving us a great experience. read more

Cassidy was amazing!! So helpful and patient as I figured out what I liked and explained everything so clearly! 10/10! I found a ring I loved and would definitely recommend! read more

Visited brilliant earth yesterday and the whole experience was amazing! Raden was super helpful, informative and easy to talk to. This was our first experience ever ring shopping and we didn't know much about what to look for. Raden was very knowledgeable on all the different types of diamonds, settings, etc. I especially liked that he made us feel comfortable and there was no rush (I could try on as many rings as I wanted!). Thanks brilliant earth! read more

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share my experiences at Brilliant Earth. In the fall of 2023, my husband and I chose my wedding band here. Despite me being indecisive, Ana was incredibly patient and helped us find the perfect band. Before our wedding, I brought in my engagement ring to be cleaned, and since then, I've made it a habit to stop by occasionally for routine cleanings. The staff is consistently helpful and welcoming. On my most recent visit this past weekend, Sandra went above and beyond and cleaned my rings right away even though I came in without an appointment. I appreciate how accommodating and attentive the team is. read more

Poor quality materials and customer service issues. Also no return or exchange policy.

I love Brilliant Earth! The store in San Diego is beautiful and has the most helpful and friendly team, we found the perfect ring and felt very happy with our choice. The selections are great, the quality is great, and the prices are fair! read more

I came into the store a couple of months ago with my daughter to browse the selection, get some questions answered and possibly walk out with an engagement ring for my girlfriend. We were completely ignored and overlooked by the staff from the moment I walked in. People who didn't particularly look like me were acknowledged and assisted before and after I walked in and it was very discouraging to want to do business with that establishment, especially after my 11 year old child asked why other people were being helped and not us. Sad to see that discrimination of that level still continues but great learning opportunity for myself and child who happen to be people of color. read more

It was my boyfriend and my first time looking at engagement rings, so we had a lot of questions. Sofia was super helpful and patient. She walked us through everything we needed to know and also gave helpful recommendations. I can be an indecisive person so I couldn't make a decision right then... but Sofia was very reassuring and supportive. We look forward to seeing her again for another appointment! Thanks again, Sofia! read more

Thanks to Rachel's help, I found a beautiful ring that my partner absolutely loves. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend Brilliant Earth, and if you have the opportunity to work with Rachel, you're in excellent hands! read more

I came here to view a setting for an engagement ring I was planning on purchasing for my girlfriend. To be quite frank, I had no intention of actually purchasing a ring from here, I was told by friends to go to a jeweler instead for higher quality and better customer service; I just really loved the setting and wanted to see it in person. Well, by the end of the hour-long appointment with Molly and Shelby, I was completely sold on going with Brilliant Earth. They made me feel understood and listened to (which a few other jewelers I went to failed at), and provided some great recommendations while making sure I stayed under my budget. In the end, I said that I needed some time to think, but ultimately I was sold on the quality of the setting, the customer care by Molly and Shelby, and the ease-of-mind from having a lifetime warranty on the setting (additional purchase) from a well-known company with multiple locations. I placed the order 30 minutes after the appointment, and started the 2 weeks wait for my ring. When the order finally came through, I made sure to set an appointment with Molly to review the ring. While reviewing, I noticed that 2 of the prongs were not symmetrical (small detail, not noticeable to a casual eye), but Molly and her manager were extremely apologetic, made sure to take note of it, and let me know that after I did the proposal, they would immediately have the manufacturer correct their mistake. Throughout this entire process, Molly was very communicative and extremely helpful. Now I am just looking forward to bringing my now-fiancée in to meet her and Shelby, with the excuse of a resizing. P.S.: Brilliant Earth, please use the 2-reps-per-client thing more!! Molly and Shelby make a fantastic duo. read more

Recently purchased a ring as a gift for my wife, had a great experience at this Brilliant Earth location. Excellent customer service, all the employees are very friendly, professional AND knowledgeable. From the person greeting you at the door, to the person leading your appointment, and all other staff, are very attentive and really make the experience feel special and memorable. Once I decided which diamond and setting I wanted to go with, the process from payment to receiving the finished product was very smooth and quick. I received the ring within a few weeks, and it was stunning. I will definitely be purchasing from Brilliant Earth again, thank you to the UTC showroom , again, for providing such a great experience ! read more

First, I'd like to mention that I did not purchase any jewelry. But my nephew has tasked me with helping him make his proposal special by making a custom holder for the ring box. For this, I need specific dimensions. I gave Brilliant Earth a call and I was lucky to have had the pleasure of speaking with Gavin. I gave him my weird request and he was able to whip out a ruler and give me what I needed. I cannot express my gratitude for Gavin for going above and beyond, demonstrating the excellent customer service that should be modeled for every company. Thank you Gavin for your help and I hope to be in soon, but this time for a purchase! ;) read more

My partner and I visited this location for both my engagement ring and our wedding bands. I will say that they made it the easiest, most painless and friendliest experience we could've ever asked for. We have little to no background in jewelry, and both Bryce and Rachel were more than happy to answer our many questions, explain the differences between our rings, and demonstrate it all in the showroom. Bryce was easily available via email and was kind enough to take notes on all the rings like the most. That made it smooth and easy for Rachel to be prepared for our appointment with her. The staff even helped us clean my Brilliant Earth engagement ring while we were in the showroom that day. I personally feel that the rings are well worth their investment, and I would look forward to coming back for our future anniversary rings as well! read more

Want to say that this place is Amazing. I was wandering around just looking around and curiosity got the best of me so I walked in. I was pleasantly greeted by a lady by the name of Amber upon entering. Not only was the staff Amazing they were highly informative, professional, all while being amazingly friendly. I spoke to Rachel and her guest service was epic, she was very attentive, friendly, and answered all of my questions and concerns. She never rushed or made me feel like I had to make a rash decision on buying anything, but instead listened to what I was looking for, made great suggestions. I've been in guest service for a long time and the service I experienced wandering into this store blew me away. While everyone was pleasant Rachel's epic service, knowledge, and professionalism and her employee Amber stole the show. read more

Had the pleasure of picking out rings with Sonder! Incredibly knowledgeable, a former GIA student and grader, gave us a great run down. Also, was super conscious of our price range and delivered right on target! Thank you sonder!! read more

Brennen was fantastic! Quite a lovely experience and my girlfriend and I are super satisfied with the service. Highly recommend!

My (now) fiancé and I came in to look at engagement rings together last winter. We worked with Sonder, who was incredibly knowledgeable about stones and ring construction/durability, something front of mind for a piece I plan to wear daily for years to come! Sonder gave thoughtful suggestions and practical advice to help us, all while respecting our budget and preferences. So when it was time to shop for wedding bands, we knew right where to go and Round 2 with Sonder did not disappoint! read more

My fiancé and I recently purchased engagement rings for both of us and we are in love with them! Sonder helped us and he was amazing, everyone else was just as kind and helpful each time we visited or called the store. You have to make an appointment to be helped in the store but you can tell them the styles you're interested in and they'll make sure to have them available for you to see on the day of your appointment. Our rings are gorgeous and fit perfectly. I can't stop staring at and obsessing over my diamond and was surprised at the size and clarity of it for the price. I'm hoping they'll hold up and last us a long time because they are truly perfect! read more

FIVE STARS. My engagement ring and both of our wedding bands are all Brilliant Earth and I couldn't recommend them enough. My husband had a great experience designing my ring for me (it turned out better than I could have imagined) and we've both loved the team anytime we've interacted with them. Purchasing "beyond conflict free" diamonds was an important piece of our story because the meaning of the ring felt so much more special knowing that the diamonds were ethically sourced. I've been to the storefront at UTC a few times, twice to get my ring cleaned for my engagement photos and wedding, and once to get it resized. They've always been kind and responsive and a delight to work with. I also stopped by the Brilliant Earth in the Stanford Shopping Center when I was in the Bay Area and needed a replacement ring size adjuster (when my ring was too big) and they ALSO cleaned it for me. Above and beyond team and service every time. read more

Don't buy here unless you try it out in person. Rings have to be picked up exactly 60 days from the day they are ready. They won't even resize it. Be careful about the sizing. My boyfriend didn't know the size and they won't size it after 60 days and won't go lower than half a size because they said it affected the integrity of the ring. Spent $30,000 and not happy. Spoke to 4 representatives and their customer service is terrible. They don't make notes and don't follow up and their response is there's nothing they can do. Love the ring but super disappointed with the customer service. read more

Brennan was excellent! Patient, kind, helpful and very, very knowledgeable. He made you feel very welcome making the experience special!
