Customer service and product knowledge 5+ for the employees there when I went today. They helped me with my bracelet that was barely hanging on. They were able to save my stones that were discontinued and that was my main concern. While I was there they greeted and assisted new customer but always came back to help me. Thanks Kendra Scott employees for making customers feel welcomed

My initial misconception was that Kendra Scott would be "expensive" and carry only trendy fashion jewlery. I thought to myself, how can Mosaic District support more than one fashion jewelry shop (Alex and Ani)? I also wasn't if the quality of jewelry would meet my expectations (or at least not turn my earring holes green). I am happy to report, the jewelry is very high quality and the styles range from classic to trendy. Kendra Scott fits a niche somewhere between Pandora and an Alex and Ani. Unlike Pandora and Alex and Ani which play to the sentimental side, it is a place where women shop for themselves and/or other women. Of course, a man is welcomed to shop Kendra Scott, but the jewelry is more fashion and function rather than sentiment. The "customized" nature of this jewelry store lends itself nicely to "a need" whether it be a particular event, outfit or pairing a set (who hasn't lost an earring to a matched set with necklace and hoped to recreate the earrings as close as possible). At the back of the store flanking each side of the "Color Bar", there are two large touchscreen LEDs to walk you through customization of your jewelry: -Step 1: Choose jewelry type (necklace, earrings, bracelet or ring), then choose your style -Step 2: Choose your metal (rose gold, white gold, silver, etc.) -Step 3: Choose your gem (there are both man-made and natural but no precious gems -Step 4: Your itemized list along with the price Once your have your itemized list (or know which design), one of the sales associates at the Color Bar will assemble the jewelry (feel free to watch and chat). The sales associate gave me three different quartz rose stone choices since it is a natural stone there is variation in the color and striation. The assembly process took no more than 10 minutes in my case (one necklaced and one pair of earrings). The sales associates were remarkably well trained for Grand Opening week! They are willing to provide suggestions and guidance (understanding not all women want complete creative authority) and inspiration is all around you by way of completed pieces. At checkout, a scanner is used to itemize the jewelry against a barcodes in a three-ring binder. The jewelry was placed into a silk-like pouch for transport (the packaging matches the store décor). Kendra Scott will stay the duration in Mosaic District due to the range of styles, the price point and the quality of jewelry. I went with four stars as my expectations were more than met (it isn't as expensive as the tall ceilings and glass lighting would suggest and there are enough styles to hit a range of taste and occasion). They have the potential to move to 5-star with brand shaping and partnering within Mosaic District (the storefront and large glass light fixtures say "expensive" which equates to unapproachable).

The Color Bar is so much fun and easy to do. Great help from the employees too!

There are so many styles to choose from, and the Color Bar was my favorite part of the store.

Deceptive and unfair business practices with poor quality clothing. You will be RIPPED OFF…read more I purchased a new dress from this shop owner for thousands of dollars with one week to my wedding after an original dress did not work out. Once I took the dress home, I noticed the dress was missing over 30 sequins in very visible places because they had been glued on. When I tried to return it within three hours of buying it, despite the website stating that she will accept returns, the seller was very rude and refused to accept the return. She stated that returns were only for online orders, which is stated nowhere on her website. She should not have a written return policy that is a misrepresentation of her actual policy. She offered to replace "some of the missing beads," which is a terrible offer. Why would I accept a partial repair for a $2,000 dress when her workmanship was of poor quality in the first place? The sequins would just fall off again! She also told me that I should have checked for the missing sequins myself! The seller is saying if she sells you a defective product, it's YOUR problem and you assume the risk, which is a horrible business practice. When you pay thousands of dollars for a dress, you expect it to be of good quality. She offered at most a $400 refund, which is unacceptable. She also accused me of trying to make a profit because I was unhappy with another dress I had purchased from a different owner, which honestly made no logical sense as I was just trying to receive a refund for a dress I had barely worn and purchased a few hours before. I highly recommend that you avoid shopping here. The dresses might look nice on first glance, but are made cheaply.

Her inventory is incredible, it took me about 20 minutes to stop ooh-ing and aah-ing first before I could focus on my own wear. She is good at finding pieces that accentuates your body type. This is a great little shop in Lee Heights that offers high quality (though not outrageously…read morepriced) Women's fashion and accessories as well as adorable high end baby and toddler clothing. They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. I've found awesome Christmas presents for my mother here two years in a row now, and many fun things for myself as well. Best boutique baby clothes section I've seen in the Arlington area, actually. Oh! And Scout bags galore!
