Delicious! Everything about our visit was excellent. My husband and I made a road trip to Stratford for some peaches and produce. On the way back we decided to drive through Noble and try Kendall's. We studied the menu on the drive as well as all the other reviews. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken promptly. After looking over the menus, we both decided on the chicken fry. I chose fries and he chose mashed potatoes for the side. Shortly (very shortly) after taking our order, our salads arrived. The salad was fresh and delicious with the perfect blend of lettuce, tomato, dressing and croutons. Our dinners arrived just as we were finishing up the salads. After reading other reviews of the chicken fried steak, I was skeptical of how it would taste. I tasted the gravy first to find it only needed a little pepper. As I tried the first bite of chicken fry, I was delighted to find the crust and meat ratio was perfect. The crust is light and crispy. The meat is thin enough to be tender yet hearty enough for the perfect texture. The richness of the gravy make this chicken fried steak one of the best I have ever had. My fries were a bit colder than I prefer. I wish I would have thought to ask for them to be smothered in gravy. My husband loved the mashed potatoes and he is convinced the potatoes are homemade and not instant like other reviews claim. The green beans tasted just like my grandmother's. They were so delicious and reminded me of the large family Thanksgiving dinners when I was young. The biscuits were light and fluffy and they soaked up the butter. They completely melted in our mouths. Thanks to the other reviews, we knew to save room for the cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls were good but wish they had been warmed up with a little butter. We both had about 1/2 of our chicken fried steaks left over that made for a very delicious lunch the next day. Kendall's will definitely be on our dinner rotation. read more

Just moved to Noble and our realtor told us we had to go to Kendall's. It was really good. Portions were huge so we got to enjoy it again the next day. Service was fast and good. Definitely will be back. read more

What's interesting is that I really didn't go into Kendall's until after I graduated high school (in Noble) in the early 2000's. Not sure why because the food is actually really good and they're rather busy when they're open for a reason. :) I always order the chicken fried steak with ocra whenever I stop by. The service is pretty good but the food is really what does it the most justice. It's always hot, bountiful, and outright delicious. The chicken fried steak covers the plate (pending which one you order) and I can't stress enough how great this is. Now I saved the best for last because they bring you one of their cinnamon rolls for dessert. I'm such a sucker for these that I pretty much never turn them down but as a bonus, they sell them in a 4pack to take home later and cook. It's a lot of sugar so don't go crazy on them but they're delicious nonetheless. This place is great and should definitely check it out. read more

This has always been a family favorite, however, in the last few visits service and food have decreased in quality. The chicken fried steak on our last visit was not very crisp and was too chewy. The service also was somewhat lackluster, it was not a very busy time, so things that I would normally let slip were bothersome, unrefilled drinks, no check back after food was delivered and slow delivery of the check. In the past our service has always been good and the food a favorite. We will still go back and hope for a return to better examples, but this last trip was disappointing. On a menu note, the burrito is worth the try even though the chicken fried steak is the go to at Kendall's. read more

Super duper spectacular food! If course the cfs was amazing and so HUGE! I got the original and it was 2.5 times bigger than a normal cfs! Wow!! The gravy was perfect as well. Wow. Very surprised. My family from Hawaii wanted to try this place out. They drove almost an hour to try this place out! We tried chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and fried catfish. All good. We started with loaded potato wedges. We all love the batter and sides. Nothing overly salted or oily. The batter was perfect! Light and crispy. We were given cinnamon rolls for dessert. Very disappointing trip. Everything about the food was off. Appetizer (loaded potato wedges) sent out cold and with very little cheese. Entrees sent out cold and bland. French fries were burnt and, yet again, cold. Chicken fry was the only saving grace with this meal....and it too was sent out cold. With the prices charged I expect better. Hands-down... the best chicken fried steak I've stuffed in my mouth... only 2nd to my mom's! Love you, mom. I got the regular size chicken fried steak, and it's anything but normal size! It's hard to tell from the picture, but they serve this goodness on a 2 ft platter. This chicken fried steak must be a foot in circumference. No joke. It came out piping hot and the breading is light and crispy. The steak was perfectly seasoned. No added salt or pepper needed here. They serve real mashed potatoes. This seems to be a lost art in other places...something so simple, done perfect here. Fried okra was tasty too. I should have wore stretchy pants so I could eat the whole thing, but I didn't and I couldn't! I had awesome leftovers though. This place is not fancy or expensive. It's the perfect thickness--easily cut, perfectly cooked! I dont order CFS a lot but this is the best! 2 of us got fried catfish and CFS--the best of both worlds. This place is awesome. The menu has a great variety and choices are tough but I always go back to the chicken fried steak. I will say that you shouldn't expect the chicken fried steak to be wall to wall meat. There is a lot of breading to make it fill up the platter but it's very good. Gravy is good. Sides are all solid. Ate a chicken fried steak at Kendall's a few years ago and it was great. Went to Kendall's on August 29, 2020 and chicken fried steak was not so great and price had greatly increased. Don't get me wrong had great taste but couldn't find the steak, it was all breading. What steak there was about a 1/16 inch thick. Catfish was given for a taste by one of the owners. It's all you can eat catfish for $14.99. The batter or crisp was light and airy and still held flavor. Fish was moist and tender. Home made white BBQ sauce for the catfish??? Yes you heard right. That's a MUST TRY! We ordered the hamburger steak and the chicken fried steak. It felt like I was eating at home. The best definitely came last. Cinnamon rolls were heavenly. Just give me a couple of those (on an empty stomach-cause they are heavy & filling) and an tall glass of milk. I have to admit, I'm just not all that impressed with Kendall's. I've been for lunch twice and tried both the catfish and chicken fried steak. I straight up didn't like the catfish. They have it in long thin strips which is just weird to me. The chicken fried steak is average at best. The sides are also meh. Most recently I had the pinto beans and fried okra. I like my okra more crisp and this was chewy. The pinto beans had no flavor at all. My favorite part of the meal was the biscuit. Notably we had good service both times with having a large group of 10+ people. It also sucks that they don't take cards, but you can prepare for that. I just don't see the draw in coming here. A chicken fried steak the size of your plate isn't impressive if it doesn't even taste that great. I'll go to Ann's Chicken Fry in OKC anytime over this place. read more
