Very bizarre and expensive experience. ( I don't blame anyone but myself for this). I was given the…read more"I am not a doctor" before going into my appointment. However, during my appointment and after listing all my symptoms and how gynecologists have told my I have suspected endometriosis, I was told by Kristine that I don't have that during muscle testing. I was shocked at such a bold statement ONLY because it went against the "I am not a doctor" statement I was told. I convinced myself this woman had a strong intuition until my chronic pelvic pain did not subside from the tinctures I was given. Which ... they weren't supposed to. It was only something western medicine could handle. Here I am two weeks post op with all endometriosis excised from my bladder and deep from my pelvis. So, Yes. I did have that. But the point of this review is that I was told I didn't have something..... when I absolutely did. It did not align with the " I am not a doctor" which I was told twice. If you are not a doctor, then how come I am being told I don't have something? Everything was very speedy and rushed... but I am assuming that is all because routine is the same for every person. Listen to symptoms, muscle test, and send home with 2-3 tinctures/ vitamins. Waiting for the western medicine and natural path world to align and become one instead of being so separate from each other!!! Hopefully one day. I see reviews that this practice is a scam, I think it is in some ways, but for some people (especially when their symptoms are mental, body is low in vitamins, contains parasites, etc. ) it could really help but it seems to be an expensive guessing game that is for sure.

I have to agree with another recent reviewer that this is a scam. The entire process was strange from start to finish in terms of what she does to check the body energy. None of it makes sense and you can watch her video on Yelp to see what I mean. I have chronic gastritis and came in for help with that. What she found and the drops given did not help me. Actually a very natural remedy did recently, but nothing that was done during this appointment or following. I am not sure how what she does helps people with digestive issues and I don't think she should be advertising that she can help with that. I also don't think she should be ripping people off with such a high initial price point when there are no guarantees and what she does is pretty hard to believe as legitimate. I really wanted this to work but I warn people to not go and use your best judgement. As desperate as you might be, this is too good sounding to be true and effective.

I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.

Truly the best. One of a kind. I am so glad to have found Healing Point Therapeutic. I highly…read morerecommend the hypnoaccupuncture and also the intuitive readings. Top notch. Marisa is wonderful in all ways. The office and treatment rooms are also healing.

She's a miracle worker, and I'm so grateful to have her in my life. She is amazingly talented at what she does. Above and beyond excellence, professionalism, and effectiveness. I'd give her 6 stars out of 5 if I could! PS: She's very effective at long-distance too! Conventional medicine calls it PMDD (Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder), with which they diagnosed me and attempted to prescribe anti-depressants for the symptoms. I decided I was interested in a different course of treatment. About two weeks before each period, I had these symptoms--very severe (debilitating) mood swings, extreme lower back pain with inflammation of the tissue, 15+ pounds of water retention, breast tenderness and swelling, and severe internal abdominal pain. The first visit with Kristine went well. It turned out I had bad adrenal fatigue, but nothing major. I was relieved! She prescribed supplements which helped OVERNIGHT. I continued to see her regularly (I was still having symptoms). Each visit, she uncovered something going on with my body that I had NO idea about. Every time she discovered, explained and treated the anomaly, I felt better. After a few months of this, my PMDD (or whatever one calls it) is GONE. I mean GONE! I have been having symptoms like this since I was about 21 years old. I am now 42. This is the first time since my late teens I have been symptom-free. It feels like a miracle. Now when I get my period, it creeps up on me because I didn't even have any symptoms to let me know it was coming! I cannot say enough good things about Kristine. She is thorough, knowledgeable, kind and patient. Both my husband and mother-in-law see her now as well. They, also, have had incredible results. If you are considering the non-traditional course of treatment for whatever ails you, please do see Kristine. As I said earlier, it was one of the best choices I've made in my whole life!

Stay far, far, far away from this place. I don't know how there are legitimate 5 Star reviews here…read morebecause my experience was so bad and so disturbing I almost filed a complaint with the city. I made an appointment three weeks in advance for an intake and an Abangha massage, received paperwork, filled it out, had my appointment confirmed. Showed up on the day of the appointment and the practice was closed, no one there. After 20 minutes I called the practice and the "doctor" answered, said she had no knowledge of our appointment (again, I have emails from her confirming) and that she will take a cab to come in, be there in 5-10 minutes. 35-minutes later she arrives. We go into her office, she tells me the massage part will be postponed for the next week. Okay, fair enough, she's killed an hour of our time already. As the session begins she does claims all my emails and info are in her spam box so she has no background on me. She then insists on conducting the appointment without masks on, which is VERY illegal. I thought she was doing this so that she could do vitals but guess what, she never does vitals: no pulse nor tongue checks nor any intake information of my body at all. The next 70- minutes are spent with her doing a pseudo-psychic, astrological reading of me where she spends the time saying that I need to divorce my wife and get my own place and that when I leave my wife that all my health concerns will vanish (which are real, documented, rare diseases that is see a team of doctors and specialists at Mt Auburn for), that they are in my head (so 170+ tumors are all in my head), and once I am free of my wife and change my attitude that I will mysteriously be healed. We spend no time on diet, my diagnosis, my lifestyle, she never looks at my body, though she makes lots of judgements on my visible tattoos and she concludes that the only people with tattoos are mentally ill. Our session ends in the middle of one of her long ramblings as a new patient arrives. She promises to send me follow up reading, pamphlets, videos (which she never does), and then collects $100 from me for services she never provides. Having lived in India and having worked with Ayurvedic doctors and practitioners in the past this is nothing like I've ever experienced before. This is the very opposite of what Ayurvedic medicine, any medicine, she represent and people like this should not be able to practice. Avoid this fake doctor and her damaging practice.

The work she put into her very detailed 12-page Wellness Report that followed our discussion was beyond my expectations. When I was fully vaccinated I visited Mona in person for abhyanga and champi treatments. So far I have had two sessions. Mona's massage technique got my body moving again after the side effects of my sedentary lifestyle due to covid. Her oils are calming which is a nice complement to the peaceful awakening of my energy and muscle movement. I'm thrilled to be enjoying continual vitality after each treatment. The lingering energetic aspect is something I haven't experienced before. It's a wonderful benefit that has changed my outlook on life. I feel alive again and calm. Day by day, I am working my way back to the active lifestyle my body, mind, and soul have missed over the past year and a half. Mona has lived an Ayurvedic life since she was a child. She warmly radiates her compassion to help people. Sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge to assist people to live their life with happiness is her heartfelt reward. I highly recommend Eternal Healing Ayurveda. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Mona.

I think she has a good heart. But I don't think she should be working right now. She needs to choose between her job as a healer and her job as a nurturer for her child. Her communication timetable is not reliable, which was evident in that it sometimes took her quite a bit to get back to me. This hit particularly deeply when, in the middle of herbal treatment (during the pandemic, no less), I gave her an update and asked a few questions and then didn't hear back from her for over a month. It wasn't that my email was missed, or that it went to a spam box. She just left it. To her credit, she apologized about this, but being as I had explained to her my experience with other doctors and healers not listening to me, I was so disappointed that I just give up on her entirely. It was the final nail in the coffin that has made working with her feel completely unreliable. Who would want to work with someone to heal who you have shaky confidence will actually be there for you? It's, perhaps, a case of "taking on more than you can chew." I hope one day Marilyn is able to figure out how to strike this balance so that it is easier for her future patients to have faith in her.

But the pain always came back within the next hour. Someone suggested acupuncture, but I was hesitant. Then one day, I mustered up the courage to try it out, and that's when Sharon did wonders to my neck and pain areas. Sharon is one of the acupuncturists at this clinic. She started out by asking a lot of questions to figure out where exactly the pain was and how long it was going on for. And after that, all I had to do was relax and let the wonders of acupuncture do its work. At the end of it, I felt relaxed and I was able to freely move my neck again! I'm no longer afraid or hesitant of acupuncture; rather, I'm very thankful and it's something I want to encourage more people to explore. If you're experiencing any pain, if massages and spas and chiropractor treatments don't seem to work, try acupuncture! And I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Sharon at this clinic!
