Dr. Matta is honestly the best OBGYN I've ever been to; she was my doctor for women's health checks and for my first pregnancy. She listens to my concerns and give me great advice. Honestly, I feel so at home in her office, it's crazy. Anita, her receptionist, seems to memorize and remember all of the patients that come through the office. Whether it's for regular check-ups or bigger appointments, I'm so glad to have Dr. Matta and her team on my side.

I have been seeing Dr. Fogg as my primary care physician for over five years now. Although it…read moremight not be important to some, it was important for me to have a PCP who also has a degree in Public Health (MPH) since I believe prevention to be an essential part of medicine. The first time I met with Dr. Fogg, she asked me so many questions (not just about my personal health) to try to get a sense of who I was and what might be important issues for my health care. Now it was over five years ago, but I remember her spending a full hour with me during that first appointment. She is very approachable and seems to truly care about her patients' health. A couple of years ago, I had a medical concern and actually emailed her through the patientsite website. She returned my email promptly (within 2 hours and it was after 8pm) and I was able to schedule a time to see her within the week. I truly believe that she provides outstanding medical care and prevention tips. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor.

She is technically my primary doctor, however, I haven't…read moreseen her after my first appointment with her about 3 to 4 years ago. That was my first time and last time to see her. Every time when I call to make appointments for my annual check up, they told me that she "is not available" and nurse practitioner has to see me. The first time when I called to make appointment, I asked if she is accepting new patient so that I am 100% sure that I do see my doctor every time when I visit and they said "Yes", but apparently, that was not true in this case. In "PatientSite" website, her status is always "I'm off on medical leave. Please contact our office if you need assistance. Thank you." since 2006 or so. If you want to see a "doctor", this is not a place to go. If you want to see a "nurse practitioner" for your annual check up, this is a place to go. As you can tell, currently, I am looking for a new doctor who will actual see me in person. The reason for 3 stars is that I do like nurse practitioners in this office. However, they are not a doctor. For your information, Susan Wainger is retired and no longer working in this office. One of Nurse practitioner left too.

But, what's really incredibly, is that both she and her RN, who sees patients after-hours, follow up with patients' urgent concerns. The office gets back to me quickly when I need to schedule an appointment, the staff is all friendly and professional, general good vibes. A few specific call-outs for others considering the office: - As I mentioned, I am fat. This does not prevent me from getting good care here, and it honestly has at other practices in the past. My weight is clinically discussed when relevant, but I always feel like I'm being viewed as a whole person with many health attributes including my weight. - Preferred names and pronouns were discussed and are confirmed each visit. Language around personal relationships is also neutral and includes various relationship style options and pronouns. This is great. - I've typically had bad experiences with getting blood taken, and have pretty deep veins on my arms. They have been successful here every time, which is unusual for me. - Sometimes the schedule is running behind, but I genuinely don't care. I alot a little extra time for my appointment on my calendar, but what I appreciate is that even if the schedule is running behind, you get full attention and time when you are being seen.
