Dr. Peters was referred to me by a co-worker since our office is near her office. She came very highly recommended. I've since seen her twice, once for a physical and the second time for a gyno screening. Gyno's are always awkward - to me anyways. Dr. Peters was great at both appointments. For my physical, she went through everything. I was surprised at how detailed she got during my health history. It was reassuring. I have very little faith in doctors; I think the healthcare system is broken and they simply don't have the time or energy to invest when they're seeing so many patients each day. That being said, Dr. Peters is much better than my last two doctors (yes, I move around a lot). I'm a fan. read more

She was too busy to notice that I told her I had gained thirty pounds seemingly overnight (as in the span of a month) that I was unable to lose. She told me to "drink more caffeine" when I complained that I was sleeping 18 + hours a day, then noted I was seeing a therapist for depression. (I was not, I see him for trichotillomania, and he was insulted by her stating that I was depressed.) She ignored relevant medical information I shared with her about my mother and her early menopause. When I told her we were seeing a reproductive endocrinologist she scoffed at the idea of us being infertile and told me that we should just keep trying. (The RE had given us a 1-2% shot of conceiving naturally.) When I confronted her after reading her notes on my appointment, she basically said "It was a busy day in the office, I missed some things," and added a snarky addendum to her notes stating that I wanted to "add details," and then copy/pasted my email, minus the part where I told her that I had explicitly complained of those symptoms to her during my annual checkup. She made it seem like these were after-the-fact complaints and that my weight gain was imagined, despite the fact that it is empirical data that she can reference in my chart. (I went from a BMI of 18.5 to 29 in three months.) I was bummed because I had been seeing her for several (five?) years. I should have known the first time she gave me a breast examination and refused to make eye contact. read more

The staff consistently mess up appointments and NEVER apologize. On top of this Dr. Peters has terrible bedside manner, blows off appointments, spends barely anytime with you, and acts like she is doing you a favor by even seeing you. How people like her actually get licensed to practice medicine is beyond me! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to a doctor that actually spends time with you and cares more about you than just the dollar signs!! read more

Fantastic facility and healthcare. Always on time and very professional. Doctor Peters is a fantastic physician.

I work downtown and didn't have a primary care doctor after moving to the city, but a friend recommended zocdoc.com and I was able to get an appointment really easily. I've been seeing Dr. Peters for almost a year now, and she's easy to talk to and judgment free. I've also never had to wait more than 5 minutes or so past my scheduled appointment time, which is awesome. read more

Dr. Peters is the best. She's been my doctor for about a year, and is amazing. She's extremely professional/knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. she's very thorough and happy to walk through any and all concerns with medications etc., while still being efficient. So great and accessible! I've been going to Dr. Peters for a while and have been very impressed by her knowledge.

I met with Dr. Peters for the first time this week and was so impressed! First off, it was great to be able to schedule an appointment later in the day (6PM) so that I didn't have to leave work early. Her office was super helpful on the phone in getting me registered and giving me new patient info on the office, etc. Upon checking in, I only had to wait a few minutes to get my vitals done and then Dr. Peters came in immediately (that never happened at my old doctor!) to meet with me. I am a very nervous doctor-visitor and Dr. Peters put me at ease immediately. She was completely judgement free, down to earth, and knowledgable. She took the time to get to know my history and it was also clear she trusted me to know what was best for my health. She did a complete exam, suggested a few things for me to think about as next steps, and provided me with a way to contact her if needed. I was able to make an appointment for next year's physical and am confident Dr. Peter's will be my PCP for years to come. read more

I am new to the city and was nervous to try to find a new primary care physician, but it was necessary since I require maintenance visits for the medication I take. When I called to schedule the appointment I purposly mentioned that my reason for the visit was to refill my specific perscriptions. When I met the Dr. She informed me that she does not prescribe that drug for personal reasons and did little to hide her judgement. I had wasted both of our time and was frustrated. Our brief conversation that ensued after that was full of awkward statements like "well if you just had a skin check we can skip it now" and "I'll let you take care of the breast exam when you are with your gynocologist" - this was unsettling to say the least. How does a doctor NOT have any interest in getting to know their new patient? I mean - i had scheduled a physical!!!! Needless to say, I will not be back because it felt obvious that she was not interested in taking a holistic approach to her patients' wellbeing and she didn't make me feel like she was a competent doctor. read more
