I have owned many homes in my lifetime. I dealt with all kinds of service people…read more The good pro,s always cost me an arm and a leg. Now, let me tell you about Lyons heating and air in Flint, Michigan. I hired a handyman to put in a few ceiling fans and to change out a thermostat. The handyman did nothing right. Rob was the serviceman. He rewired my thermostat so it worked and he checked my total HVAC system. In addition he was concerned about my electrical problems. Turned out I had 27 volts to my security light instead of 120volts. Rob told me that one or more ceiling fans was miswired. He also told me that my security lights may have bad sensors The kicker is I only paid for the changing of the thermostat...very reasonable charge. People ,there are a bunch of greedy crooks out there ..I guarantee you Lyons heating will treat you right. Roberto c Gayton

The tubing that I wanted changed he said it was working fine. So it was not fixed. Then after I didn't want to pay more money because he was not changing out the drain tube and wanted to charge for basically nothing done when he looked further it was found that the tube was cinched in the laundry room only showing the problem wasn't fixed after he said it was fixed the whole leaking would have happened again. Then to change a tube the charge was going to be 400 mor dollars. So 700.00 to change a tube that cost 30.00 dollars. And the diagnostic was not correct. A waist of my time. And the workers time. High way robbery.

He is so professional and courteous just like Mr. AJ was, but even BETTER. I am not throwing any shade on Mr. AJ because I love them both the same. These comments are all about Goyette! This is the ONLY company that you want to use for any mechanical issues that you may have on (furnace, air conditioners, electrical, plumbing). This is the only company that you can trust to do the job right and if there is a problem, they will stand behind their work. I love this company!

Today it was 100 degrees outside and my wife and I were cool in the house where we have lived for 33 years! The system is quiet, smooth running and there are no big blasts when it turns on. In the cold months of Spring we stayed warm and toasty so we have had both extremes of weather now and we LOVE the heat pump both for comfort and energy efficiency (aka lower bills). Kaleb and Mondo did a great job of removing the old and bringing in the new. They were careful not to let Elvis the cat out while they were coming and going. We called blue flame to come out and take a look to see if they could help, but I had no idea how much it would cost. Unfortunately, we had just lost our 12-year-old beloved black lab the day before and Blue Flame showed up unannounced to fix it. When I asked him how much it would cost, he just simply said "we love our customers" and they fixed it for free! They had a crane on their truck and even brought the cement blocks to prop it back up on. I can't tell you how relieved and thankful I was especially after such a great loss. At Sherman I felt like family. This was my first heating or cooling need and I've found my store. Below is what happened but can't recommend this place enough. 6 stars if I could. So I've been working on installing a new furnace and a brand new first time for the home central air system with my friend. I needed some new duct pieces for the sizing change. I called them this morning and went up with my bad drawings. Doug talked me through my drawing as he created one the shop guys could read and execute. Within 5 minutes he knew what I needed and gave me a quote. I was expecting to have them on Monday as this was Friday. They called me after I left and they said it may be same day. They had it done by 2pm!! And it was exactly right. I left and didn't realize until 3:30pm I didn't have the connecting pieces I needed and wanted to get it installed this weekend. I called back and went up there. Met a shop worker Jason. So friendly and knew exactly what I needed. Told me they were sitting out when I picked up but I didn't get them. Gave them to me and smiled as I left. They didn't charge me extra for them either even though they weren't in my drawing. In my opinion that's how you treat a customer. I may only have been $100 or less in profit for them but in one day they built a customer for life. And one that will recommend them to all my friends and family in the area. Shout out to the secretary who took all my calls. Sorry the name was hard to hear but she was awesome!!
