Lots of cherries of all different varieties, and not too crowded! Really beautiful and juicy Corals, Brooks, Rainiers and Helens! $4 per pound, cash and card both accepted.

Less than 10min from home, cherries are so sweet, easy access, friendly family staff. The trees are perfect for my toddlers to pick. Definitely our new yearly spot for cherries. Got out with 18# of delicious cherries and barely broke out a sweat. Thanks Kelsey Farm! We'll see you again next year!

Came back again today! I went to a different farm with my coworkers but wasn't impressed with the quality. On our way back home, we stopped by the farm again to pick good ones There weren't as much as the last time I came here (Memorial Day) but still plenty to pick. We ended up picking about 10lbs worth still They also had shorter variety on the other side of the farm which made it easier for my toddler to "reach"

Helen Cherry! Amazingly huge and crunchy

The cherries here are amazing! Extremely great quality cherries! The owner and staff here are so friendly! Definitely my go to cherry farm! They are a small family own farm with a variety of cherries! Love the farm

Best cherries in town! Plus the friendly staff showed us around the property to show us the best cherries to pick.

Rainier cherry at Kesley Cherry Picking Farm

Great cherry picking experience over the weekend in mid June! Friendly and sincere family business, lots of cherries to pick from with varieties and straight forward process. If plan to pick Rainier, would recommend to do that at the end and put them on the top of the bucket as those are more delicate. Not crowded in the weekend morning. All varieties of cherries are sweet and juicy. Would definitely come back next time!

Ask the Community - Kelsey Cherry Pickin' Farm

What kind of payment do they accept?

    Cash, card or venmo.

Are dogs allowed in the farm picking area?

No dogs allowed. Actually most cherry picking places do not allow animals. We love to pick cherries here so if picking a cherry instead of pulling off the entire branch preserves the tree then I am more than willing to oblige, since it will allow us… Read more

My daughter and I found what looked to be an unpicked cherry tree and went to work. It didn't take long for us to gather a bounty of cherries, and there was tons of low hanging fruit that was super easy for a petite seven-year-old to reach. Special thanks to the Freitas staff member who told us to pick dark cherries. The bright red ones look appealing but they need more time on the tree! We took home seven pounds of cherries. They were $4/pound and they take cash or credit cards. I checked their website before heading here (and recommend you do too!). We'll definitely be back to Freitas.

There was no signage indicating price/pound, and they give you a plastic bag to carry your cherries. When we got into the orchard, we noticed that most of the trees had been either picked clean or had berries that were rotten or too small/not ripe yet. We intentionally walked much further in to see if we could find some trees that hadn't been picked as much, but the orchard wasn't in great shape. We struggled to find cherries we actually wanted to pick, and we tripped a few times on the uneven dirt, weeds, and tubes running throughout. When we left, we weighed our cherries and confirmed they were $4/lb. Freitas also doesn't take credit card, so we had to pay with either cash or Venmo. We've previously been to The Cherry Pit and far preferred our experience there. The Cherry Pit had parking closer to the entrance, clear signage indicating price/lb, lots of high quality trees and ample cherries to pick, and accepts credit cards. The Cherry Pit also didn't ask us to sign a waiver before entering.

I go pick cherries at Chavez once a year for 7-8 years now. I wake up very early and try to get there right when they open so that I don't get stuck in traffic. It can get crowded. Also, this can help you get a parking spot for sure. They do have a big parking lot though so it's probably okay. Price this year: $4/lb. They accept credit card now too. I love cherries here. They are quite big, sweet and a little tangi. Yummy!! Just make sure to be patient and don't pick the ones that are not that dark yet. Keep going until you find a good tree. Then you can commit to picking them. I've seen people that pick too many of the light pink color ones and then ended up threw them away so they don't have to pay. So bad.
