My kids and I came here and were pleasantly surprised at how popular this farm was. I can see why though. There are two different sections where you can park that had different types of cherries in each area. We opted for what seemed to be the quieter area near the end. Parking was a lot better down there. We were greeted with bags and were told about the process. And then we were off to it. The farther you get down into the grove, you will see ladders and you can use those ladders to pick some of the higher cherries. We had a good time picking for a little less than an hour and when we were done, we were able to find our way out and pay pretty quickly. This place is cash only but the line went really smooth and quick. I wouldn't mind coming back! read more

What a great day for U-Pick! Went out for an easy day in the sun and was not disappointed. Cherries of all sorts at this farm. I was wanting Raniers and they had them, lots of them! In less than an hour, I had picked 20 lbs to share with family. I will see them again next year! read more

It's not too far a drive from the Bay Area out there to Brentwood. And picking cherries is kind of fun. I like that you don't have to bend over like picking strawberries. The problem was we went too late in the season. We went in June. It's gotta be May. About 90% of the trees were bare. But I like the way they at least try to open different sections at a time. Even so, not much left. But I can't blame that on the establishment. I imagine if I DID come at the right time, it would have been amazing. The parking is well organized and the lot is very large. They lend you baskets with bags which you pay for when you leave. At our time it was 4.50/lb. Not cheap but definitely fresh. They have ladders in the orchard so you can get highs up there. And if course you can't help but sample the sweetness as you're working hard to fill your basket. Next year will come at the right time! read more

Big, juicy, (mostly) sweet cherries for $4.50/lb!! Love how they have plenty of ladders, but also most of the cherries were quite low to the ground--perfect for little kids as well! Had a wonderful time cherry picking here on a sunny Saturday afternoon. They supplied us with buckets/bags upon entering and the weigh/pay process was super quick and easy. Cash only!! Would defo recommend this farm for a wonderful cherry picking experience! read more

Ive never understood why everyone goes crazy for rainier cherries until i tried them here. Went there last Saturday and every tree was firm and sweet. Some may be smaller but so tasty. So good we went back on Memorial day again. Front is picked pretty clean but back there are plenty still. There's also ladders to use near the back if needed. We didn't bother with the bings just head straight for the rainiers. $4.5/lb is a steal. Costco had them for $14.99 for 2 lbs. think we found our cherry picking spot for future years. Let's hope they continue to be sweet every year. read more

On Memorial Day 2026, my family and I went to Cherry Time farm. It's one of the cherry farms that open on Memorial Day. Upon arrival, there's a spacious parking lot with staff members directly us where to parked. They handed us buckets one per group, you can grab an extra plastic bag for the cherries, and they explained the farm's rules. We were instructed to pick only what we wanted and not leave any behind. Picnics were strictly prohibited. The staff members were vigilant, walking around to remind us of these rules. As it's their farm, we must respect their rules. Their cherries are incredibly sweet, $4.50 per lbs, they only accept cash payments. Despite these rules, we had a wonderful time picking cherries. Happy Memorial Day 2026 to everyone! read more

I loved visiting Cherry Time!! We come every year to pick cherries but this year I also took my kids to pick white peaches and they were delightful. Ample parking Easy to locate the farm via google maps Friendly staff Plenty of trees to pick from Quite a few different varieties of cherries to pick from Reasonably priced...about the same as other neighboring farms ...$4.50/lb Cash only! We reached at 3...hoping we had 2 hours to pick since they close at 5; however, due to heat wave they decided to close early at 3:30. It was quite disappointing since we had driven quite a distance to get there Despite this I will definitely come back! read more

Our family FINALLY made it out to pick fresh fruit straight from the tree. Today we chose to do cherry picking, our daughter's first fruit picking adventure. Cherries are an excellent choice for fruit picking for little ones - our's is 5. She was able to reach many of the branches herself at the beginning, as we ventured on the ripest cherries were found out of her range. The later in cherry season, the fewer cherries there will be available at her height. She enjoyed running through the fields - a path between each line of trees - as well as picking cherries to add to the bag we were going to take home. She said she wanted to do it again, so that's a plus! CASH ONLY! Nearest ATM is not near. $4.50/lb. 5/18: only CORAL CHERRIES were available to pick. This variety ranged from the size of a marble to a quarter. They resemble the shape of a heart, the deeper in color the sweeter and juicer the fruit. There were two lines of trees that held white peaches. We did not visit this section. There is a market booth, CASH ONLY, that sells jams, oversized cherries, popsicles ($2-3), honey and a few other items I do not recall. First purchase, a popsicle. Staff were friendly. Ample parking. Easy to locate with street signage. We were lucky during our visit, the weather was beautiful with a nice breeze in the low 70s. Brentwood is not usually known for great weather unless you enjoy extreme heat - I do not. Come for the visit, it is worth the experience. There are plenty of cherry picking spots along Marsh Creek Road. read more

Be sure to check out the farm stand as well! A perfect family-friendly experience, and we'll definitely be back for more :) read more

My sister planned for a family visit to Cherry Time on opening weekend that just so happened to land on Mother's Day. Didn't realize there were so many types of cherries and each variety having its own unique timeframe as to when they are available to pick... For opening weekend the only cherries available for picking happened to be TIOGA. If you are anything like me, you are probably clueless as to what a "tioga" cherry is!! Lmao. According to the staff, these cherries in particular are small in size and are known for being more mildly sweet. These cherries tend to be used for baking since sugars will be manually added. Please plan accordingly because there are no restrooms available for use during our visit- we did see a few porta potties further down but all were locked. Maybe it was too early in the day for the staff to open up since we arrived quite early in the day. 4/5 stars. Staff was kind and this experience pleasant. This was a ton of fun for our kiddos who didn't seem to be phased by some of the tart or less sweet cherries. read more

Cherry Time is our favorite cherry picking spot in Brentwood! The trees are always loaded, the cherries are huge and sweet, and the whole experience feels so family friendly. Easy parking, super organized rows, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. We especially love that there's a marketplace with pre-picked fruit and goodies if you want to grab extra on the way out. An awesome weekend tradition for families with kids. read more

REMEMBER to bring cash(they only accept cash)!!! Hundreds of cheery trees! We thought there wouldn't be many cherries to pick cuz we went on holiday but totally enough! You can also use ladders to get cherries from higher parts of the trees. To get red sweet cherries, you need to choose the right tree. read more

This place is huge with so many varieties of cherries. The raineers tasted great, pretty sweet and soft. We also got bing cherries but there were others we couldn't find. Since it was so big we couldn't tell what cherries were what variety but the raineers are yellow so when we finally found them we could tell. There are ladders inside so you can reach the top cherries if there aren't many left at the bottom. We visited in mid June and there were still plenty left. It was a bit difficult to tell which cherries were the sweetest but I personally am not picky. They gave us bags to put the cherries in. We ended up getting a lot of them bruised so we had to eat then quickly. Maybe not putting them all in the same bag would've helped. Also make sure to bring a plastic cup and water to wash the cherries inside. read more

I've only been to 1 other farm in Brentwood for cherry picking. This place doesn't require a minimum purchase, but that you pay for what you pick and obviously don't be obnoxious and pick cherries to just waste them on the floor. I found a few sweet trees and some ladders in the back rows. They provide bags but you can definitely bring your own bags or buckets. We visited Cherry Time the last week of cherry picking season. They had Rainer and Bing cherries and were selling them $4/lb, which is honestly a steal compared to how much they are at Costco. Lots of shade. Called ahead since it was near the end of cherry picking season but they answered right away. They have buckets but you can bring your own. I must change my review for Cherry Time. It's appears that everything is predicated on timing. There are two orchards at Cherry Time, an A and a B. Last week they were picking from area B which had the Champagne Coral and white peaches. That area seamed picked over and finding the "RIGHT" cherry was a bit more difficult. Today, area A which was just opened, had an incredible amount of fruit on the trees. The plump, sweet, ripe cherries were plentiful. Usually, my strategy is to go furtherest away from the entrance near the rear. Those areas are picked over the least. However, there was no need to go the rear as so many trees had fruit hanging at eye level. This reminded me of the first year I went picking. Today was a fantastic day, not too hot, no breeze and few people in the orchard. We picked over 20 lbs in less than 45 minutes. It was GREAT! Special shout out to Bailey whom I saw for a second weekend in a row. She was friendly and a very cheerful person who helped service us. I wish we could have more days like today where the low hanging fruit was easy to obtain and the weather was just perfect! Thanks Cherry Time. read more

Loved it!! The place is huge, cherry trees for what seems like miles of endless rows. Got there about 10am and it was like a concert parking lot. Lots of people but definitely spaced out where u hardly were near others. I went end of May so I had to walk a bit to get to the unpicked trees. Cherry picking is popular so go soon as season starts. They have a variety of cherries (bing, coral, some others). Price was $4/lb and u buy what u pick. I was picking my heart out and ended up with 5lbs quickly. Season is now over, will return next year! read more

They don't allow water and mat for kids. And not that many cherries. Wouldn't recommend.

Had a wonderfull experience with the family here. Staff are very friendly and the cherries were juicy and delicious! Thank you Cherry time!

I am so glad I convinced the family to make a stop at Cherry Time on our way to Yosemite during Memorial Day weekend. We're from Hawaii and we don't have cherry orchards there, so we were all first-time cherry pickers. We walked far into the orchard before we started picking because the trees in the front didn't have too many cherries in them. We saw people on ladders, so we figure maybe that's how we get to the good cherries. I was more excited to take photos of cherries in the tree than picking the cherries myself because it's so cool to see cherries growing on trees. I did end up picking some cherries myself and contributing into the bag that was provided. The family picked a total of 6.5 lbs. The cherries were $4 per pound and only cash is accepted as payment. When we got back to the car, I gave the cherries a quick rinse and we all started eating. Every single cherry was sweet and juicy. There's a lot of cherry orchards in Brentwood but I picked this place because they kept their Instagram updated. They provided information on inventory, pricing, hours of operation, and stated that no reservations were required. When we got to the location, there are workers directing the flow of traffic, so everything was organized. Porta potties available in the parking lot area. read more
