We went on June 10, 2025 and most of the fruit needed 3 days to ripen a little more. Still, we had the BEST time here! The owner Lettie is an incredibly hospitable and warm woman, she welcomed us right away and made us feel so special. They have white peaches, white donut peaches, plumcots, regular plums, apricots, these super cool green plums that are red and orange inside, cherries, and probably more. They've also got ducks and chickens and goats so the natural sounds out in the orchard are so fun and farmy Fruits are $3/pound which is cheaper than some of the other U picks in the area. We came at a great time for freestone white peaches (4th of July weekend). Most peaches were still very firm but edible (should ripen with a few days of storage). We were told today was the start of when yellow peaches are also available for picking but they were still hard. The white peaches are so sweet! Incredibly juicy where soft--there were 1-2 where parts of the peach were soft enough where you could peel the skin off, so we're hopeful they'll soften in a few days. Ample amounts of fruit on trees especially towards the back. Got around 20 beautiful peaches for ~$23. Owners are incredibly friendly and nice!! Will be back to try them for cherries earlier in the season! read more

On our last day of the trip, we passed by Rancho Zaragoza. We had our inlaws and kids with us and this was the best farm we went to. Imagjne two rustic playgrounds nestled in the orchard, animals surrounding it were peacocks, chickens, parrots, sheep and ducks. We experienced a warm welcoming lovely owner, Letty and her daughter infront, they were so welcoming and informative. The experience was the kind of farm picking you get from a real farm not just an orchard. We picked apricots, plums, nectarines, pluot. We tasted it as we picked like she said, testimony of how confident she is with her fruits and it was SWEEEET and JUICY! I love how we picked with the kind of farm that wasnt crowded. After we picked fruits, we rested under a big tree with a rocking chair and a playground where our kids played. It was a nice area to rest because it was so hot. She has pomegranates that is bound to be ripe around november. We bought orange blossom honey too. If we are ever going to be around the brentwood area, we will definitely be coming back read more

The gem of farms in Brentwood. We've passed by this farm going to the larger cherry orchards and decided to drop by here for the 4th of July weekend. It's special bc it's a family farm and has that special family farm feel with chickens galore running around the peach orchards. The owners are super warm and friendly. On a spontaneous Sunday morning, my family and I decided to take three toddlers to Rancho Zaragoza as first time U-pickers. I was just there yesterday and the lady Mrs Lety and her daughter Timi greeted us and made us feel so welcomed. The young lady explained all the different variety of fruit that they have available (white peaches, yellow peaches, plums, apricots,and different types of pluots like Dapple dandy Pluot and emerald gem pluots). Timi even showed us how to pick the fruit because only cause the fruit is big doesn't necessarily mean it's ready. You should also buy some of the delicious honey that they produce themselves While you guys are there you should also check out the petting zoo . My kids loved all the animals especially Louie the potbelly pig, Nugget the friendly mini goat and Fiona the hairy cow. Rancho Zaragoza has a variety of fruits in one orchard: peaches, nectarines, Asian pears, plums, pluots, figs, etc. So with one trip, you can pick a good variety of fruits. The couple who owns the orchard lives on-site and is very friendly and helpful. We had some little kids with us, so they gave us a wagon for the kids to pull. After you pick everything, then everything is weighed at $2 per pound. They will carefully place each piece of fruit into a box for you to take home. 1 star off: The only feedback I would give to Rancho Zaragoza is to clearly label which trees are ripe and ready-to-pick. It was not clear when we went, so we ended up spending the majority of the time picking unripe fruits. Even the ripe fruits feel hard here, so it's...er, hard...to tell. FYI: If you go now, the yellow peaches are ripe. read more

The Zaragoza family could not have been more pleasant and welcoming. The entrance to the ranch a little confusing - you basically pull into their driveway and park by the garage. The orchard is hidden on the other side of their courtyard. Mid-June the pluots were ready to be picked - the flavors were so incredible, every person taking a bite just froze with a huge smile on their faces. Apricots and peaches (both white and yellow) were probably a week or so too early to pick but ripened up nicely at home. Highly recommend supporting this family on your visit to Brentwood. Hands down, the best! We have a tradition of driving to Brentwood every summer and picking fruit together. My best friend and I have been doing this for over a decade. Last year we visited Rancho Zaragoza with all of our kids, my mother, my sister and my nephews. We had an amazing time. Not only was the fruit beautiful and delicious, the setting was gorgeous as well. And the owners are beyond nice. They were totally fine with us visiting their many exotic parrots, YES, they have parrots. Fast forward to this year. My bestie and I returned, and we don't usually come back to the same places. We are both sure we will come every year. This year was beyond special. Again delicious and plentiful fruit. Again parrots. But this time there were chickens, goats and pigs to add to the excitement! We also discovered that the best bee keeper around lives there and she showed us the bees and answered our many questions. What a great experience! We went on Saturday, 6/3, had a good experience. The u-pick white peach area is not very big, like 3 - 4 rows of trees only, but was not busy at all so it was enough peaches for us to pick. The peaches this year are smaller than I had remembered, but still sweet and juicy. No entrance fee, and buy at $2 a pound which is the market price. It also wasn't a hot day so we had a great time picking and eating along the way. I think I had eaten at least 10 peaches. I recommend going early in the morning, bring your own ladder, some water, napkins and knife so you can enjoy the peaches right away. read more

This place is the best farm in Brentwood. We have been coming out to pick fruits for years and finally made it to Rancho Zaragosa today. The farm owner Lety took us on a tour of the farm, and explained all about the trees, fruits to my kids. The farm also have lot's of animals, goats, cows, chickens even parrots and turtles. We called Rancho Zaragoza while we were at Daughter's Produce down the street as we wanted to see what fruit they had for U-Pick. The owner picked up and apparently she was closing in 10 minutes but said we can come on by anyways and that she'd still let us pick. We drove right over and she was just the sweetest as can be! My grandma was getting pretty tired (from the heat probably) and she let her sit in the shade where her grandson was playing. A farmhand (maybe her husband?) who was by a tractor was offering her water which was nice. This is family owned, literally at the back of their home. They had white peaches, plums, and yellow peaches. We picked so many white peaches and plums and just like she said, they ripened up by the time we brought them home. We were at a neighboring farm and was looking for another place to pick fruits. This place came up and we gave them a call. The lady on the phone, Leti (sp?) said she'd keep it open for us. We drove passed it a few times before finally spotting the sign. The farm is owned by a wonderful woman. She let my 90 year old grandmother sit and rest with her. There were so many more fruits options here than the other farms. We picked white peaches and plums. I just wish there were wagons for us to use as carrying the bucket was no easy task. When all of the other places had no cherries to pick this place has some already picked for sale. They were plump and delicious. Rainier didn't cost extra and they had plenty to go around. The Yelp reviews don't lie! This place is the absolute best. The lady who owns the ranch is such a sweetheart, she's such a great conversationalist. They have wonderful little goats, chickens, and parrots that talk to you. My favorite was her little dog who loves belly rubs. The ranch layout is nice and easy to maneuver around. She even helps point you in the direction of the fruits you desire, but it was a lot of fun to just walk around and see the place.
