We came here for a bridal party pamper day. We got the bridal package which included a treatment, lunch, and champagne. The staff were wonderful, the spa was immaculate, quite, and peaceful. Got a couples message here last night with my husband. This place was awesome! When we walked in were greeted right away and showed around the facility. They have 2 lounge rooms for before you start your massage where they have fresh fruit and nuts with cucumber water and you can also get a glass of champagne. They also have a really nice locker room for changing that has a eucalyptus steam room, that was great for after the massage. They do the massage in a private room that had heated beds and dim candlelight which made for a super relaxing atmosphere. Our massages were done by JoJo and Todd. They were amazing! JoJo gave just the right amount of pressure and had me so relaxed i nearly feel asleep. The whole situation was just perfect i couldn't have asked for anything more. This spa advertises that they are a high end, Conde Nast rated top 10 spas and their customer service is just not there. We are out of state and tried to purchase a couples massage for our daughter and her boyfriend and they could not accommodate that. It seems to me that even a low-end spa would provide for some type of online package sales, gift certificate or allow us to purchase directly via phone. None of those options are available. What kind of management can't figure that out? I'm a micro business owner and I could figure it out. I went to their website to email their "Spa Director" about my complaint and my email was returned because the email was not valid. ***This one-star ONLY pertains to supervision customer service*** I have visited Kelly's Spa numerous times and have given treatments as gifts to friends and family over the past few years. I have always loved and enjoyed my time coming to this place of rest and relaxation. I would have never thought that I would have to leave a bad review for this spa until a few weeks ago after the way a few friends and I were treated from a person in supervision. I have always had (and even the day of) been treated with kindness and respect from this spa until a pricing issue had come up for the first time. When I had brought it up and the girls at the counter were having trouble describing the pricing differences, they called a supervisor over who handled the situation very poorly. There is a way to deal with issues and matters in a way that doesn't disrespect a customer. Doing so with eye rolls, shaking of the head, rude remarks and condescending attitude is certainly not the way to do it but this person dealt with the matter with these exact characteristics. This is the main reason why I felt compelled to write the review. Even if we take the pricing issues aside, the way she handled the situation was very impolite and coarse-not only to me but also to 2 other people at the same time. The experiences I have had here and the customer service have all been wonderful other than this issue and conversing with the supervisor. I would HIGHLY recommend Kelly's Spa but my advice is to ask about exact pricing BEFORE your treatments (pricing was different from the brochure and online when we had paid which I hope has now been corrected) and if you have an issue with something, ask to speak to Whitney (a manager there who is very kind) or Jodi the director of the Spa. read more

Went in today with a friend and had a wonderful experience. I usually just get my brows done here every couple months but never anything else. So I'm always in quick and then leave. Today I received a facial and it was great. Cassandra did my facial and knew so much about skincare. Loved her so much because she was gentle and able to make my skin look amazing. I went in early and relaxed by the pool for a few hours. Such a nice pool and the relaxation room was nice. The relaxation room was filled with fresh fruit, nuts, tea, and water. This spa was worth it. It is comparable to other 5 star spas. I know it is because I have been to almost all the spas in Vegas and are equivalent to Kelly's. Had the worst experience last week. We were running late, which I called in advance to alert them. Then arrived and found out valet was close (no warning). We had to find parking and the parking meter wasn't accepting cards (still calling to keep them abreast of what was causing us to be late). Literally ran to side side /closest entrance and the gate was locked (no warning or heads up). Then has to run to the front (long way) to get in. Our hour treatment was 25min at best. I am a return customer and took a first time customer to experience. So disappointing! Not only was our treatment rushed but the entire session was done with rubber gloves on (again no warning of this). Masks to be worn was the only heads up I was given and was completely in agreement with. So very disappointed. I spoke with the Assistant Director who was very passive aggressive and unapologetic. He did eventually offer 20% off future services. NO thank you! I LOVE this place but will not be returning for spa services again. read more

First time to Kelly's Spa. The place is very tranquil, classy and lay out is very nice. My masseuse name is Jessica and she is really sweet. I had the 80 min massage that I can lay down in the heated blanket, dimly lit room with soothing music playing in the back ground while they are giving you the massage. It was definitely awesome experience. Would recommend for others to bring bathing suit, wear clothing that easy slip in and out . Definitely coming early than your appointment time about 1hr so you can have the pleasure of kicking back ,relaxing prior to your massage appointment. They do provide locker, robe and slippers for you to use. They also give you choices of different juice that come in a champagne glass or champagne with chocolate beside ice water is readily available in two different lounging areas. Afterward you can enjoy yourself in the steaming eucalyptus room or leisurely strolling out to the pool area to take a dip or grabbing a bite to eat by the pool side. Definitely will be back and maybe next time I will try the couple massage with hubby read more

I booked a "Shared Lavender Retreat" for myself and my husband, but it was anything but shared. First off, I'm used to spas having both steam rooms and saunas that may or may not be coed. Kelly's Spa only has steam rooms that are located within the locker rooms, making them not coed. So I left my husband sitting in the lounge while I stepped into the women's steam room for a bit before our treatment. The lounge we were sitting in by the way, felt small, and was a bit awkward to sit in while other guests wait alongside you in their robes. The steam room was nice however, and I was able to enjoy it alone for a few minutes before stepping back out to join my husband. When our masseuses came in, they whisked us off in separate directions, which completely surprised us. Based on how the spa package is labeled, we assumed we'd be enjoying a private, shared bath together, but instead we took our baths by ourselves in completely different surroundings. I was placed in one of the villas, where along with the bathtub, was a TV and bathroom. My husband informed me that his bathtub had neither of these. After 25 minutes of sitting by ourselves, my husband was brought over into the villa I was in, and we both laid down on massage tables that were next to each other. My masseuse began using shiatsu techniques to massage me, which again, wasn't what I was expecting or hoping for. My husband had better luck however, and later told me that his masseuse used only Swedish massage techniques on him. The only pluses I can give this spa are their unbelievably comfy robes, and their heated massage tables that also bend in a way that allow you to sit up slightly during your massage, rather than laying flat on your back. However we have all tried numerous days and multiple times to get in contact with the spa to make appointments for services. It has been very frustrating for everyone involved since we have been unable to get in contact with anyone to book an appointment. Even though Kelly's is located inside a popular hotel, it manages to be peaceful and serene. They have a eucalyptus seam room and a relaxation room with water, fruits, and nuts. And, the plus side to being at a hotel, you get free use of their amenities (exercise room, pool, and hot tub). The services they offer are great. I have had massages and facials and have never been disappointed. So, why the reason for 4 starts, instead of five? While the prices are similar to other spas I have been too, it seems a little too high for this spa. It is nice and relaxing, but it is also quite small. The locker room with the steam room is a pretty good size, but the relaxation room is tiny. There isn't much seating and it gets uncomfortable when there are more than 5 or 6 people in there. Also, when you walk to your room for services, you have to walk outside where hotel guests can see you. It is still quite private and it isn't like they parade your though a crowd - the people who see are those at the pool - but, it is still worth mentioning. Another thing to note is that the length of services aren't always consistent. I like to get the couple's massages with my husband. The massages start at the same time, but for some reason they don't end at the same time. On two occasions, my massage ended about 5 minutes before my husband's. While 5 minutes may not seem like a lot, when you are paying around $90 for 60 minutes, you want every minute! As a final note, it isn't the best place to go to if you want to spend time with your significant other, or hang out with a couple friends. Aside from the relaxation room and the pool - and the steam room (if you are with other people of the same-sex) - there isn't much opportunity to hang out with each other. Despite all of this, I still go to this spa because it is closer to where I live. Also, it is nice if you just want a service or two, but don't want to make a whole day out of it. You can go in and out. But...if you have a little more money and can take a short drive, I would recommend Glen Ivy (in Corona). It is huge, which makes it great if you want to make a whole spa day with your significant other, family members, or friends. Usually, I will go to Kelly's if I want a massage or facial, and nothing more. But, if I want multiple services and also want to have the whole spa experience, Glen Ivy is the way to go. read more

Absolutely adore this place! Been here three times and every time it has been so relaxing. The spa isn't huge, but there are definitely enough amenities. When you pay for a treatment you have access to their lockers, eucalyptus steam room, showers and even the pool which is typically only open to hotel guests. Before my massages I like to ask for a glass of champagne and chocolates to really get me in the mood to relax. They also give you the option to drink your glass after your treatment. I have to give Kelly 5 stars as it has become my favorite spa in So-Cal. While it may not be "the best ever" it is easily my favorite of Burke Williams, Glen Ivy, The Madonna Inn (in SLO), and any of the spas I've been to in Nor-Cal and Vegas. While Glen Ivy definitely has the edge when it comes to extra amenities like all the pools, multiple saunas, steam rooms, etc. all of that costs you an entrance fee of up to $64.00 & that fee is NOT waived when you get a service, so that stuff is great, but it IS costing you a pretty penny. All of that is not offered at Kelly's and instead only 1 steam room and the hotel pool/spa which is shared with hotel guests, but the actual SPA elements at Kelly's are far superior to anywhere else I've ever been and for that I am thankful. PROs: -free valet (they will validate) -staff is very friendly at every turn, but not annoyingly in your face -prices are no higher than any of the places I mentioned above, and I feel their services are better -2 relaxation rooms, both very nice...fireplace, snacks, comfy chairs, etc. (could be a bit larger in my opinion) -upon entering, you are given a menu of specialty drinks or champagne for free...nice touch -every service I've ever had there has been great. ---Relaxation massage and Hollywood Oxygen facial were both great. Bikini wax was terrible, but just because of what it entails...not their fault LOL --However, last time I had the best treatment EVER! I got the $195.00 Kelly's Signature Fountain of Youth service which included a 25 minute champagne extract bath, a 20-30 minute full body sugar scrub, and a 50 min. massage that ended in paraffin wax treatments for hands and feet as you get a face massage. It was a 2 hour service total, but some of that time was spent showering off the scrub. I was taken out to my own private villa that had a huge beautiful bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub, a shower, and a toilet and pretty sink. It was covered in rose petals upon entrance with low lighting and a plate of snacks on the side of the jacuzzi to enjoy during my bath. It was completely private so my masseuse could be on the other side preparing the massage beds. She gave a gentle knock in between each thing and then discreetly left when I went back and forth between the bathroom area and the other room with the bed. It was $200, but well worth it! I really enjoyed it and honestly would consider doing the same treatment again and again whenever I could afford it. My girl's name was Devi and she was awesome!! She walked just the right line of being friendly/talkative without disrupting my service/relaxation. She also really listened to everything I said as far as not wanting any scalp treatment and that I wanted LIGHT RELAXING pressure b/c I didn't want to be sore for 5 days. Her pressure was perfect!! Best massage I've ever had! CONs: --not a lot of extra amenities and you share the pool/spa outside with hotel guests -- the robes and slippers are on the small size. I admit I am bigger at 6'1" but they see that when you check in and I think alternative sizes of items should be offered. The slippers were probably a size 7 (I wear an 11) and the robes were a bit small and short (mine just barely closed). I understand that I am certainly not the average size, but I do think there should be alternative sizes offered. Quiet and Relaxing environment secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the busy hotel! Love the eucalyptus steam room and locker area. What a disappointing start to our much anticipated spa day. I made reservations for one of their holiday specials asking if it could be done as a couples massage, and I was assured it could be. I was contacted the day before to confirm and everything was on track. The morning of our massage I was contacted by voice mail at 10:30 before our 3pm service to say that our massages could not be done as a couples and we would be in separate rooms, and basically if we didn't like it we could reschedule and if we could reschedule during the week since they're not as busy. These massage treatments after tips will be well over $500. I would expect at this price and with Kelly's spa's reputation as one of the best in the nation, for our experience to be flawless. Sooo disappointed! I'd now like to amend my review. When we checked in to the spa they told us that they had overbooked by one couple. I was still disappointed, but somehow they managed to arrange things that we got a couples massage anyway. The service was excellent, the massages work great! Kelly's Spa is an experience I will never forget. My friend and I had the couple's massage and it was heaven. Mind you, it was her 29th birthday and the last thing she wanted was to be all alone so I suggested the couple's massage so we can both get the same massage and we got to experience the amazingness of the room we were in. We first got to the spa to change and then spent a few minutes in the relaxation room where freshly squeezed juice awaited us. We were taken to a beautiful room, which had mellow music playing, a fireplace going, and the massage beds were heated! Our therapists were absolutely wonderful and they were totally in sync with each other. My friend and I got a wonderful 50 minute Healing Massage, which had a variety of styles including: deep tissue, accupressure, and swedish. Once we were done, we hung out in the Eucalyptus Steam Room and I took the longest shower I could endure. Not only could we use the showers, all of the amenities were included so I did my hair and got ready for the day. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the director, Ken, was so personable and helpful. Kelly's Spa is literally one of the best spa's I have been too and I am looking forward to my next visit. read more

Went in for a Swedish massage and the lady who massaged me was great! But the girl in front that checks you in with long dark hair has a stick up her ass! She acts so stuck up and not friendly or welcoming at all to the guests coming into the spa! My friend needed to use the restroom and this girl made her check in before she used the restroom! They should keep her ass in the back or somewhere where she doesn't have to talk to people! We also asked about products and the girl knew nothing about the products! When I stay at the Mission Inn, I book myself a little treat. I did the fountain of youth luxe package and found it lacking. A full 40 minutes in a tub was too long. The massage was amateurish and the parafin wax treatment not a befitting end of a $165 treat. I have been to better spa treatments, but you can't beat the location, so I added an extra star. I think Kelly's is either underpaying their staff or Riverside needs some folks from Korean spas in LA to come and show folks how to do a massage and spa treatment right. read more

By far the best message I've received. I purchased the "SHARED LAVENDER RETREAT" for Valentines. First I spend 25 mins in a jetted tub. I think this helped with the mesage. My husband tends to hurt during past messages but this time he said he enjoyed it because of the bath. The spa is very luxurious. They gave us champagne and delicious chocolate as we arrived. I went on a tour at the mission inn and the tour guide told me the owners wife (and probably daughter) went around the world to experience all the best spas and to incorporate what they experienced into this spa... ummmmmm... daddy warbucks, I don't think they were doing their research properly because this spa has no "World class" feel. This is a really small spa. I'm giving it 3 stars because the eucalyptus steam room is really small! It can fit up to 4 people max, and that's roomy where you are all touching each others hips! It is not a very nice steam room, very outdated, not appealing. The locker room is really really small, if someone is in the room it's cramped already... i went on a day when it was raining so I didn't get to use the outdoor pool which is probably nice but you share it with the hotel guests. The relaxing room was really nice, just wish they had a real fireplace in there because the staff go through a door to go outside and everytime they opened it they let in the freezing air!! I'm the type of person that gets to the spa to enjoy all the amenities a few hours before my service. This is a spa where you don't do that unless you will be relaxing in the outdoor pool for a while. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My masseuse was amazing!!! The music here is calming. I will come back during the summer time to use the outdoor pool. I can't believe they don't have an indoor pool or indoor jacuzzi. I wish there was more indoor amenities. read more

Beautiful, we booked a couples massage and got a little bungalow to our selves for the massage. It was fabulous! You also get access to the pool for the afternoon with purchase of a massage. This place lost my business at the phone call to make a reservation. I called and the lady took my number and had me say my name, then I spell out my name for her. She called back 30mins later while i was in line at the airport and butchered my name to "Arnetta". Ok. I asked for a facial in 2 days, she said she would look to see what she had available. She said she didn't have the times I needed. Offered no apology; acted more like she was doing me a favor for looking; nor did she offer up information on other available services.... so I prodded on to ask what other services are offered.... she mentioned nails. Ok, I'll set up a manicure for my daughter; and here she was quick to say services are not given to children under 14. Ok, well she turns 14 next month, so that's OK right? Nope. Ok.... ummmm so I keep trying to work with this individual... ok so I'll take my older daughter, and I'll go ahead and commit to the 830am facial time (that no one wants on a Saturday morning). So she wants a credit card number... which I hesitate to give in public verbally while at an airport... so I ask her if you can use the card number on file for my hotel reservation for a room at a luxury hotel costing $400 a night. Here she has another rule... we don't use hotel reservation information and have no access to it. Ok, I give up, don't want time at this spa anymore if this is any indication of the quality! Bye! As a business owner, and seasoned traveler who has enjoyed some of the most beautiful facilities and spas in the country; this is not the kind of service that I'm accustomed to seeing at a place of this reputation such as the Mission Inn. The phone representative should answer with a smile, respect their customers in the most simplest of ways such as correctly saying names; sell the product joyfully, accommodate, heck sell me another service, tell me about your facility with pride!! I signed my sister up for the blushing bride package and got treatments for all the bridal party members. Part of that package was a coordinated lunch for all of the members. We waited over an hour to get our food, despite having the lunch time pre arranged, and then were rushed to eat so they could finish with everyones treatment before they closed. Management covered the cost of our lunchtime cocktails and escorted the bride to be for her remaining treatments. She had to leave her half eaten lunch at the table! About a month and half later, I got charged for treatments that were already paid when we were at the spa because according to the spa director, there was an over site from their accounting department. Im completely upset that the spa, with the reputation it has, would have been so careless to us for our experience during and after the treatments. I will be looking for other spa locations in the area that pay better attention to their clientele. read more

While my "provider" was great the customer service ruined the whole experience. The customer service at the end was unprofessional and distasteful. I came here with a small group and we had reservations to get a massage at 1600 then they pushed one of ours to 1700 prolonging our visit here. The representative told my friend there would be a discount for the inconvenience but at the end they did not grant it because Kelly's spa representative did not document it on their notes. The two representatives at the end, Jacklyn and Ericka, weren't willing to contact the manager because she had just stepped out " 10 minutes ago ". They lack communication and it was unfortunate to see this at a high end spa. While it could have been a wonderful experience it was unpleasant at the end and our take is that everyone should be treated the same and there needs to be consistency across the board especially when it can be quite an expense for a massage.
