Fantastic! 5 Stars all the way From the entrance, you can feel the shift in mood. Nice and peaceful. The check in process was quick, where you are shown the locker room right away. I cannot say enough about the staff. Super friendly staff who make you feel welcomed! Free refreshments upon entering the spa, including a champagne option with a house made chocolate truffle. The facilities were very nice and peaceful with a steam room, showers and lockers for personal belongings. The massage was exceptional, Davey really cared about my pain points and wanted me to feel as relax as possible. My wife received a wonderful massage from Cynthia, and said the same thing. My wife and I had a couples spa day for her birthday and it was absolutely a first class experience. Everyone from the front desk to the lounge attendants give exceptional customer service and quality care. The best part of the day however was our couples massage with Nathan and Jamie. This was by far the best massage either one of us has ever had. It was a perfect combination of pressure and relaxation while being purposeful by targeting the areas that needed more attention. Nathan and Jamie also gave us amazing body scrubs prior to the massage and our skin was glowing and super soft. We will definitely be coming back. read more

My wife received a gift card for Kelly's Spa as a Christmas present. We decided to use it as a Valentine's day celebration and decided on a couple's massage. There were a variety of couple massage options available and we opted on the enchanted moments package which included an 80 minute massage, two glasses of sparkling wine, chocolate dipped strawberries, 20 minute additional en suite time, and complimentary valet parking. My wife and I arrived early and the staff at Kelly's Spa quickly accommodated us. We were given a set of robes and slippers to change into and were instructed to wait for our massages in the lounge. While at the lounge, we indulged in endless berries, teas, chocolates, and complimentary beverages. The staff were very attentive and kept asking us if we wanted more chocolates and drinks. After waiting for about fifteen minutes, the masseurs guided us into our own private "villa". The only downside was that during our massage, we could hear kids screaming from the pool; one thing that should be noted is that the "villas" are located right next to the Mission Inn pool so any loud noise can be heard during the massage. It kind of ruined the "romantic" vibe of the massage so during our massage I could hear my wife giggling as several kids screamed random phrases. After the massage was over, our masseurs came with a plate of chocolate dipped strawberries and drinks of our choice. Unfortunately, the spa villa was under construction and we were not able to enjoy the villa's bath. For $375.00 for two, it ended up being quite pricey; we were really glad that we had a gift card because otherwise, there are other spas that offer better massages for a more affordable price. We will probably only come back if we had gift cards. read more

Gloria the receptionist at the main hotel front desk will just continue to transfer you without you being able to get a word in which is very rude (basic customer service etiquette training 101). It really is a mission to get them to answer the phone. Kelly's spa is a wonderful place to be at however why don't they answer? This business really need to step up and hire someone to answer phones efficiently. They LACK in that aspect!!! Also why don't they say their schedule on a re or ding while we are waiting. I could of saved 15 minutes instead of waiting lists ting to the recorded music. They do have someone saying: one of our associates will be right with you momentarily. So you are under the impression your call will be answered, then you hear a beep thinking someone is going to answer me now! I tried to make a spa day for a groups of guys bachelor party. Looks like they do not offer male masseur only.We wanted to get my best friend comfortable by having a guys only king of spa day. They only have a male masseur ether in the morning or the evening cannot book 2 at the time. (Very bad practice) My husband and I prefer male masseuse and can't seems to get to book anything if is not a woman masseuse. It's the second or third time I have been in the spa and looks like my husband or I have to settle to for whatever they have at the spa and NO what as a customer requested!. We have very strong feeling that this Spa wants to be woman catering only and do not care about the male customers. Very disappointing that as 2022 this place still not gender inclusive. They have a men side that looks almost brand new and spotless because they do not take the time to caring to men. They should have as New Year Proposition to care about the male customer more. Waiting for a response from the supervisor to see if they can go out of their way and make a two masseur appointment... I'm obsessed with this spa, it's our first time returning since Covid. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff is amazing, the ambiance is perfect. My only feedback would be the cups... plastic vs. glass...? Before you had actual glass Champaign glasses and glass water cups. Not a fan of the plastic. Only reason for a 4 star vs. 5. Normally, I look forward to my visits at Kelly's day spa. However, my last two or three visits have gone downhill price stays the same But the quality of the full experience has gone down ...!!! The best thing about Kelly's is the spa attendance they go above, and beyond to take care of the guest, however, they are not supported by ownership. Things that have changed first we used to get valet parking with our spa experience...that's gone !!!!they used to have quality drinks made in the kitchen....Those are no longer made. We always enjoy our trips to the steam room but it's broken!!!!they didn't even have enough winter robes so we were freezing!!!! The massage I got was awesome but part of the reason I paid what they charge is the other amenities including the steam room. One the day I went, the steam room wasn't working right, had little steam and no Eucalyptus smell. I understand sometimes things don't work, but they stated this had been a problem for over a week. Had my first facial on May 1. Evie is amazing. I asked her to explain what she was doing, and she complied with a gentle voice, never made me feel bad for the neglect i have done to my face. I took my girlfriend here for the first time I think a year or two ago. There was no special occasion, I just wanted to take her for a facial to show her I care, and make her feel valued. Especially since she had never had one before. As she got her facial, I waited outside. Once, she was done, she told me she really liked it. It was funny seeing her facial expression after she got out. She reminded me of a little child who didn't want to admit they liked it, but they really did. I could see the joy on her face. She expressed to me she did really enjoy it and would like to go again. I think I paid $150 or close to $200 with a tip. She also asserted that she would like me to get one with her next time. So next time we both will be getting a facial and a massage. I would recommend this place based on my girlfriend's experience. There's also a pool, and they allow the person getting the facial to use it, among other amenities. She said the service was very friendly and accommodating. read more

I have been here multiple times. The massage and therapist were great! The amenities, however were not so great. This place is definitely going downhill. The shower only had cold water, and the shower head pressure was minimal. The worst part was a 20% service charge is automatically added to my service. If you're happy with your service you are able to add more money. If you are not happy with your service charge you are not able to make any adjustments. Since when is a tip automatically gauranteed regardless of the level of seveice? I'm very disappointed Kelly's Spa!! read more

My husband gifted me a massage to Kelly's Spa and I loved every second of it. Although it's a small facility compared to other spas, I was able to spend the entire day here. Patty and Chelsea in the locker room area were so kind and attentive. They constantly came by to ask if I wanted more champagne or juice or if I needed anything. I received an amazing 80 minute massage by Devi. One of the best massages I've received. She was very attentive to my needs and gave me just the right amount of pressure! I dislike when I pay for a massage and I feel like they are just grazing my skin. Devi had firm pressure and she really helped alleviate a lot of tension in my back. The only area of improvement for Kelly's Spa is to answer their phones. I had a hard time getting a hold of them. read more

We started with a couples massage, enjoyed the lounge together where they brought our plates of truffles and glasses of champagne. Had a great experience at the spa. It's on the ground floor in the Mission Inn. Though the facility is not as large as some, my husband and I left there feeling relaxed. We had a couples massage as well as pedicures. That heated massage table is everything. Everyone we encountered was so courteous and accommodating. I've been to A LOT of day spas and this one is probably at the bottom of the list in terms of size, amenities and environment. Let me break it down for you: SIZE: Probably the smallest spa I've been to with a very small ladies lounge, tiny changing area, cramped steam room, and the worst part is they have only 1 mirror and 2 sinks for the entire ladies lounge (what's worse is the mirror sits on top of the sinks, so you can imagine the amount of traffic in that little area). AMENITIES: This was the only spa I've been to with no indoor jacuzzi or other wet pools. The only thing they had was a small eucalyptus stream room. There was an outdoor pool and jacuzzi that is shared with the hotel guests but that was very noisy and crowded with all the people there. Also, for whatever reason, they don't have hand/face towels here. There is supposedly a limited amount of face towels covered in ice outside the steam room, but the bowl was always empty when I looked. ENVIRONMENT: I couldn't get into my zen like state when I go to spas here... Maybe it was the cramped space, crowd (I went on a weekend) and loud kids here (a lot of teenagers)--they allow kids 14+ in this facility. On the flip side, the staff was friendly, I enjoyed my massage with Cynthia, it's in a prime location (downtown Riverside--lots of shops and eateries within walking distance), and valet parking is complimentary with a spa service. I am considering doing the couple's package here for my husband's bday but only because I like the location and my husband wants to try the Mission Inn Restaurant next door. I probably won't be coming back though for round 3 anytime soon. read more

I am so disappointed! I called to get an appointment for my daughter and myself during the holidays. I called twice and they picked up and hung up. I thought maybe a phone problem so I left an email message from the online site. No response. I gave it one more try about a week ago. So it was my first time EVER getting a massage. I had NO IDEA what I was in for. First I walked in and was greeted by the front desk young woman. Told her it was my first time and had no idea what to do or where to go. That my group of friends were already inside. She seemed not to care and just checked me in. I was taken back and given a locker and some sandals and a robe. Was directed to a lounge where I finally joined my other friends. My massage therapist was Deadre, she is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. She made me feel so good as my first time. She made me feel relaxed. If I go back to this spa I would love to request her because she would be the main reason I come back. She made me feel more comfortable. Shes awesome. After our massages we decided to go to the Jacuzzi. We were brought out some more champagne, about an hour we decided to head out but our key didn't work to get back into the spa so we had to walk around through the entrance of the spa. I am still not sure if I will go back because I really feel that perhaps my group was being judged. We were told to keep it down as we were enjoying ourselves in the lounge and laughed but I guess we were too loud and we apologized but after that I feel we were kind of judged as a group of young Latin girls that were loud. We kept it quiet after that but also noticed we weren't really getting much service after that. Perhaps we aren't the usual people that go there but I felt it when I first walked in. If someone were to walk into my business and say it's my first time I would ensure they have a first time to remember. I dont remember that name of the only two people that did help us but it was a young man and perhaps a girl named Kelsey or Chelsea ? Went for the 1st time on 2/17/20, and I was very disappointed overall, especially with the money we spent on services. Yes, it's clean and beautiful inside, but when we went, the eucalyptus steam room was down, and so was the jacuzzi spa next to pool. The poolside service was ridiculously slow. You are sharing the pool area with the rest of hotel, lots of noise from kids at pool. When I was getting my services done, I could hear the loud noise from the pool area, including the music being played. For the price we paid, was expecting way better. I'll stick to other spas from now on, like Glen Ivy. read more

She did admit that the spa is undergoing some changes, but she wanted to make sure I had a chance to enjoy the experience that I was originally booked for. When did Kellys Spa start scamming people? I've been coming here for years and all of a sudden they charge a mandatory 20% "service charge". No, its not a tip, you're still expected to pay 20% more on top of that! And even worse, they don't tell you until after you receive the service. It had been several months since I had a massage so I check prices online. It was $235 for my service. My boyfriend wanted to pay for it so we went down there in person, asked how much it was and we were still told $235, no mention of the additional "service charge" Isn't the $235 the service charge? You're literally being told that's the price for that service so why wouldn't they include the 20% service charge in the $235 service charge? Why?...because that's how they scam you. They say it's not gratuity but coincidentally it's 20% and it goes directly to the massage therapist. They dont include it in the actual price of the service so you still feel obligated to give a tip because what kind of decent person wouldn't give a tip for a killer massage? I was so confused and upset, which really ruined any relaxation or peace of mind I had after getting a message btw, that I went back in there in hopes of clearing up some confusion and to ask why it was never mentioned online or in person and the only answer I was given made me think that it's simply just a way to scam people on an already pretty pricey service. Just so you are aware, they did tell me the mandatory 20% does go directly to the therapis, so not sure how that's different than a tip. I think it's disgusting that they are doing this, not including it in the initial service price, not calling it a tip either so you feel obligated to pay a tip on top of it. Worst of all, there's no mention of this new "service charge" online or even in person when asked about pricing . They just spring it on you as if that's not going to piss you off after a nice relaxing massage. I feel scammed! My therapist got $115 tip! There's no way I'm gping back and paying 40% in addition to the service. Just call it a mandatory tip or include it in the price of service, stop scamming people, and your prices are already really high! read more

My first time. Noisy, not a relaxing environment. It's pretty inside, the smell of eucalyptus is very inviting, but again just too noisy for a spa environment. I expected more of Kelly's Spa. So before COVID my husband and I have come here twice and I absolutely loved the prenatal massages I received both times. We decided to wait until everything reopened again to go back. Well my husband tried about I kid you not 20 times calling and leaving messages and no one returned any of his calls. Strange thing to is he called during business hours. I was extremely disappointed because I loved this facility and wanted to return but after all he went through and still never received a call back we decided best to go elsewhere. I have been to Kelly's Spa over the years. I have gotten facials, massages and pedicures. I love taking friends as a birthday gift for a pedi. The price for the top pedicure is $105. That is significantly higher than I remember and the value has not increased. Let me explain my second questionable experience. I was told that the top pedicure was longer massage time and paraffin wax. I timed it and the wax was on my feet for 3 minutes and massage was 8 minutes. The worker was very short, rough on me and cut me in a few places. Her demeanor was overall, very put out. She had a rash on her left elbow and put gloves on, kept itching it with the gloves on and then touched my feet. The nail polish was thinned with acetone right in front of me. With all this happening and a second experience of lacking, I don't recommend using them for pedicures. I love the overall spa still and access to the Mission Inn.
