Shortly after walking through the door, things took a turn. I was given the intake form which I completed. Then I was told, I had to pay before my services were even started. The woman at the front told me she would "maybe be leaving early" because she had "stuff to do." She said you normally pay after but I would be paying before. Worst case scenario, I was racially profiled and made to pay early. Less worst case scenario, I was still treated differently than normal and as a first time guest. I wasn't offered any refreshments or anything. I stuck it out because my boyfriend put thought into it, but the experience was ruined before it even started for me. I hoped the massage would make up for it...it didn't. My door was left open which is weird considering I had no clothes on and the massage was just alright. Once completed, the masseuse left the room with my door open again for me to have to get up nearly naked to close it so I could get dressed. I turned on the lights to see the satin pillow topper that was removed once I turned from lying on my stomach to my back during the massage was on the floor. I'll include a picture of what I saw and was lying on. I quickly got dressed and made my way to the exit where a choir of employees started the "excuse me, excuse me!" chant as if I was running out without paying. If you're going to make me pay ahead of time, communicate that to others so I'm not accosted while trying to leave. All and all, I won't be coming back and I don't know how they have good reviews.

She greeted me so warmly and asked pertinent questions from the details of my booking, so I knew up front that I was being well cared for. The space is so calming- professional, yet relaxing. The extra touches like the ambiance, the music, the aromatic massage oil, and lemon water were so nice. And Ms Nikki has a real gift. She found the exact places that needed extra attention, reminded me when I forgot to breathe, and seemed to have an intuitive way about her work. She really got what I needed, and it felt like a release of tension in my energy as well as my body. She's skilled in massage but also brings a deeper element and clear love for her work. That's completely unacceptable and made me question the cleanliness of the facility from the start. The massage itself lacked any real technique or flow. Instead of working through the muscles in a logical sequence, the therapist randomly jumped from one body part to another and then back again. It felt disorganized and ineffective, more like someone was simply going through the motions than providing a professional massage. Another major issue was the therapist's hands, which felt extremely rough--almost like sandpaper. Rather than being relaxing, it was uncomfortable throughout the session. The eye covering was also handled poorly. Instead of gently placing a towel over my eyes, the therapist tightly wrapped a blindfold around my head, making it feel restrictive and uncomfortable. When it came time to remove the massage oil, the towel was so hot that it was uncomfortable against my skin. To make matters worse, the therapist didn't even remove all of the oil. My shoulders and feet were left oily, and instead of using a clean towel to wipe them down, they simply used the sheet from the massage table. Overall, this was one of the least professional massage experiences I've had. Between the questionable cleanliness, poor massage technique, rough hands, uncomfortable blindfold, excessively hot towel, and incomplete cleanup, I cannot recommend Juju Massage.

They took us in right away no wait just straight to the room and it was warm and ready to go. Place was clean and smelled nice. We went for the Swedish massage 60 minutes and it was Good I instantly knew they were experienced as she was getting all the right pressure points perfectly. I highly recommend them as they are a local massage near me and have great service in Riverside. I've passed them many times and didn't think it would be worth while but was I wrong they were very friendly and professional and even gave us water at the end of our massages.
