We have wanted to try this place since it opened and we got $10 off coupons at the Red Sox game....little did i know I would need that and more. We went on a Wed night around 6:30, pretty prime time for dinner in Naples and at Founder Square. There was one other table with people when we walked through the door. The young man that came to the register said nothing and just looked us up and down like he was doing us a favor. We were unfamiliar with menu board above the registers and they were very difficult to read. We finally figured out what to order, my wife got the fish platter and I got the seafood combo with scallops and belly calms. 2 drinks brought the totally to $53 for fast food, glad we had the $10 off coupon. We picked a booth that was clean, which wasn't easy. Our food came out on paper plates the fries were cold, onion rings were ok but lost their batter, the fish and scallops were good but the belly clams were the worst I have ever eaten. The scallop and belly clam portions were very small but the fish was quite nice size. EVERYTHING was extremely greasy!! I think the owners or someone came in while we were there, didn't say a word to us, but it was the only time the kids working actually cleaned or did anything. As soon as the owners left they went back to standing around. Unfortunately, I will not be back to try their $10 roast beef sandwich even though I have another $10 coupon. Stopped by for the second time to try a lobster roll. Went to Kelly's when they first opened and had a roast beef sandwich and chocolate frappe. Very good and gave them a five star review for food and service. My second visit is three stars. The lobster was really good but they only had a small size. The main reason for the three star review is the lousy attitude of the server. Look, if you don't want to work at a fast food restaurant, try not to show it with a crappy attitude. I paid $28 for some guy to act like someone is pulling his tooth without Novocain. Go do manual labor in 100 degree temperature if you don't want to deal with the public. read more

I was in the area so I thought I'd give them a try. Wow! Lobster rolls for $24.95. I guess they are known for their lobster rolls. However, I'm a vegetarian so I just ordered the kids Mac and cheese that came with a drink and I picked a salad for my side dish. The garden salad was a decent size with tomatoes and green peppers. However, the Mac and cheese was literally just kraft macaroni and cheese. Nothing inventive to even hide that it's not originally made ( no extra cheese or bread crumbs on top to give it any piazz). I was in the drive thru waiting for my order for 10 -15 min for just a Mac and cheese and a side salad. Maybe the food that they are "known" for would be better? I hope so. I had visiting friends from Boston, and I mentioned that there was a Kelly's Roast Beef at Founder Square Dr. We lived in Revere Mass and always loved Kelly's Clam plate with the onion rings and Roast beef. Since it was a fish Friday in February, we decided to have the fish plate which was very fresh and tasty with the Kelly's tartar sauce. One person had the Roast beef with sauce on the butter toasted rolls was as he membered it the late sixties as a teen. I would highly recommend at try if you love full bellies clam and roast beef. This is the third time I've visited the Naples store with family and friends I grew up up in Revere in the 50s and 60s so I spent a lot of time working and hanging out at the beach The Kelly's I remember hasn't been duplicated anywhere they have tried to expand While the Roast Beef sandwiches are pretty good the beef just isn't the same quality as the original beef Tonight my wife and I decided to share a seafood combo and it was a big disappointment to us There were maybe 6 whole belly clams and 4 fried butterfly shrimp plus a ton of fries and some onion rings The clams had big ugly bellies that didn't look or taste good The 4 shrimp were flat overcooked and a total waste of All for $29.95 plus tax and tip Total waste of time and money In my opinion this franchise will need to upgrade the food quantity and quality for us to return I hope they can get better over time but there is a lot of competition in this market and other places to eat that serve better New England type seafood The only reason I gave them a 3* rating is that the service and cleanliness was superb and hope that they change for the better Good luck to Kelly's going forward read more

I just left Kelly's with my much anticipated visit, being a Massachusetts transplant to Naples years ago I know the Kelly's MO! I must say the staff were excellent and eager to help, the Roast Beef 3way was excellent, I ordered the small box of Fried Clams and could not believe how the cook or lack of completely destroyed these delicious expensive ($29+) clams they were so greasy (obviously cooked in same oil as everything) and the batter came off! First time going to Kelley's, glad we did, walk up to counter to order and they will bring food to your table. Convenient. Sandwiches are made to order and the roast beef is sliced in full view. Roast was delicious, beautiful fresh and pink!! Perfect!! The fries were fresh and not under or over done. The Reuben was delicious as well, onion rings were good but could use some seasoning!! Overall good sandwich shop also has a child's menu and has seafood and chicken tenders as well!! Something for everyone!! Good family night eatery. Dining area was clean also the restrooms!!! This is NOT the New England Kelly's. First, somebody take the pepper shaker away from the owner. The batter is loaded with it. The Kelly's up north doesn't have pepper in it, nevermind loaded with it. The roast beef had very little flavor and is overcooked. Got fried scallops. $27 for a side order, and the quality was not good. Very "fishy" taste. Not that it would have mattered given the pepper issue. Even the fries were overloaded with pepper. On the positive side, the strawberry shake was good, the place was very clean and all the employees were lovely. Tried for the first time and it will be our last. We got takeout and the food was literally almost tasteless. No condiments given for the burger. Bun was literally chewy. Meat was salty. Fries were bland and soggy. Coleslaw was also tasteless...no seasoning whatsoever. Clam chowder...watery and again hardly seasoned and had little flavor. Kellys known for their Roast Beef and Seafood 2 of us went 8/26/2030 at 315pm and both ordered the Seafood Combo plate Belly Clams and Scallops what a dissapointment THe scallops were cooked so long they resembled marbles and were hard and dry the belly clams were just as bad more drops of breading than clams. Onion rings and fries were good I will not buy seafood there again beef sandwiches only. Waste of money for sub par dinner. read more

They are new and still learning. It's not a bad thing as long as you don't expect everything to be perfect. They tried to accommodate us when we asked to clean a certain table. I got the small roast beef sandwich, which was huge, not small. It had so much pepper on it my lips actually went into spasms. No joke. My husband also got the roast beef sandwich. No problem with pepper on his sandwich. One order of onion rings is enough to share with another person. I got a vanilla frappe because chocolate was not an option. It was okay but nothing special. Prices run high for a fast food place, but the serving size is quite large. Went to Kelly's today ! It was awesome. Being from Cape Cod it's been hard to find good fried clams. Well, we found them!! Perfectly cooked, generous portions. Tried this place the other day, it's nothing like the original place. Will not go back again. Hot dog was almost raw and the steak and cheese was so well done it was like eating bits of leather. Well made my second trip to Kelly's in Naples, placed my order at the drive-through, two plain large roast beef's a garden salad with no onions and a small fries, I signed up for the rewards and entered my credit card, when at the window, the server barely spoke to me. I handed in my credit card and told him I was part of the rewards program didn't respond looked confused, paid for my order left looked at my receipt. Nothing about the rewards obviously the young lady taking my order in line at the drive-through didn't hear me well so I got a large cheese fries and even after confirming that we want to know when you're done the salad when we got home we had our cheese bacon fries, which I didn't order and onions on the salad, I know this is a new restaurant and they will be a learning curve, but these were basic things that were not taken care of no rewards onions on my salad and the wrong fries. Barely giving Kelly's a three star review this time. By the way, I am a lifelong patron of Kelly's. I'm 64 and started going to Kelly's in Revere Beach when I was a child. My bill was 25.50 for 1 small roast beef 1 hotdog fries and chocolate shake. New Eatery thought I would try it. Booth was really really small. The small sandwich was really BIG but the Bun was full of seeds not a good idea for older people in SW Florida. Employees all very young kids who would rather be somewhere else. Fries were good but COLD Small Roast Beef sandwich was really big Roast Beef was very rare but a great sandwich with the usual extra for cheese this and that. The Sandwich was good But COLD. Shake was good. Booths and tables dirty as was the bathroom. And opening the packets for mustard and ketchup and mayo was a joke. The young kid was nearby and I ask him if he could open the packet he tried and tried and threw it down on the table in disgust. Why don't they put salt pepper on the table and some squeeze bottle of ketchup mustard and Mayo. Such a waste. Big portions but everything was COLD. The opening in the super small straw made it impossible to drink a thick shake through it. Wish they had a spoon....probably last trip there. Could really improve the place with a good manager and serious employees.....and some changes.
