It's not the largest but does prevent you from having to park on the main road. They have a massive menu, with everything from subs, wraps, calzones, and pizzas, to salads, seafood, pastas, and of course the roast beef sandwiches. Being relatively new to the North Shore, I knew I had to try their version of the regional favorite roast beef. I will spare you the history of the "North Shore Beef" but I ordered their regular roast beef on a grilled sesame bun. I felt like it had a good amount of beef on it, considering the price, and good flavor. There was a cup of the classic James River BBQ sauce on the side. It was fine, I don't know enough about the North Shore beefs to say where it stands in the pantheon of best in the area. That being said, it got the job done. A side order of onions rings were similarly okay, not the best I've had but not the worst either. With such a vast menu, there's something for everyone at King's.

They offer burgers, hot dogs, several other types of sandwiches, and quite a bit of fried seafood. I opted for the fried shrimp plate and a fried clam strip plate, both with onion rings. In my humble opinion the shrimp was better than the clams. The donenesss on the shrimp was spot on while the clams were rather rubbery. While I appreciate the fact that the onion rings were breaded immediately prior to being dropped in the fryer, the majority of the breading had flaked off (of the clams as well) during the 5 min walk back to the place we were staying. I think I might like to try a sandwich if I ever get back that way.
