30 minutes in and no food yet. Eggs don't take that long to cook and it's not very busy. Update: food was terrible. Potatoes were raw inside but burned outside. Waffle (who can mess up a waffle) was overcooked and hollow. Literally crumbled like potato chips. Eggs were cold and bacon was raw. Btw... you can't cut bacon strips in half and say it's 3 strips of bacon when it's 2" long. Service was what you'd expect from a hole in the wall, not bad, not good. Very to the point. I'm definitely on the fence about this place food wise I give it a thumbs up. Went there for breakfast. Will go back and try lunch. Sausages are amazing but my toast came dry with no butter on the side. Had to wait to flag somebody down by the time I got the butter My eggs were cold, additionally, we had to flag staff down for refills on coffee and tea to say the least our waitress was inattentive Huge criticism about the bar. The countertop area is actually facing a wall. there's no service back there only a small TV, which is my next complaint the entire time we were there they were playing some kind of a reality show which displayed humans crashing, jumping off things bleeding, injured, etc. it was extremely disturbing many of the patrons that were there at the same time as us we're talking about the same thing. I do believe at one point the staff recognized that there were a patrons disturbed by that and found it funny left on that station the entire time we were there if that was ever playing again when I walked in, I would turn right around and walk out. read more

This place has adorable ambience! I love the high ceilings and all the windows :). It was beautiful on a chilly winter morning! Great menu with tons of options - I had the linguica and it was DELICIOUS. Hard to take a good picture of it, but it really hit the spot. I was very curious about Kelly's Place because it had excellent reviews and I will say the other reviews lived up to the hype. I'll start out by saying that the menu is quite large for both breakfast and lunch options. The prices were comparable to competitors, and the meal portions were generous. They also have a decent amount of parking in the plaza. It was quite busy when we arrived but the staff were quick to seat us. Every staff we encountered (which this restaurant was well staff) was friendly and prompt. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others. read more

Let's be fair, I've been here many many times as I used to live in the Taunton area. The service is amazing, the food is outstanding, and the portion sizes are very large. But the price is low so how can you go wrong? The Lancer is by far the best special as you get three pieces of sausage three pieces of bacon, three French toast and home fries for under $14. And unbelievable value! This place also has a full liquor license meaning mimosas and bloody Mary's are definitely on the table as long as you want them to be. Went out for breakfast this Sunday. Great location and great outside patio! I ordered the Lancer, 3 thick French toast with 3 sausage and 3 bacon and home fries. And a side order of hash. I asked for well done hash and home fries. French toast was great! Home fries were a bit under cooked. My wife ordered the veggie benedict. She said it was really good. We were looking for a lunch place and drove by and stopped. It was nice looking inside but many flies. The waitress was nice, but the food was slow coming out. I give points for having straight up French fries, crispy and plain, I hate seasoned or coated fries, the burger was a little under medium which is how I actually prefer it, and it was thick and juicy, but came with a sesame bun, I dislike sesame seeds, the ketchup came out a blob of water and kinda grossed me out, but all o all it was a pretty good lunch. Your choices are stairs or a long narrow walkway on a less than ideal surface in close proximity to stairs that one misstep could lead to a fall. Please consider putting in a ramp near the door. On yet another road trip, got hungry and looked for somewhere to eat breakfast. Saw this place and decided to give it a try. We only had time to order to go so I don't have and pictures from the inside. Nice place, medium sized in my estimation with stools for single diners and tables for the rest. Business was steady as we waited for the food. We each got breakfast sandwiches and they were pretty good. Wasn't sure how to rate but the staff was friendly and although they were busy, the food came out in a decent time. If I am back up that way, I will try again, there were some good options on the menu for next time. Note: be mindful of where you park, there is a large residential community behind the parking lot and there are specific reserved spots for them. read more

Things have gone down hill since I was here last I'm not sure why this happened But my daughter and I ordered our breakfast and when it arrived as one would do. I started to eat mine. The english muffin was burnt and no butter. I was eating it when the young man came back. Said to me I'm sorry. Did you touch this yet. And I said I'm Just eating the muffin. And he said it's not yours and took it from me and brought it to another table. Then 5 min later brought me another one Which looked identical to the one he took from me to begin with I don't think the one I had been breathing on and hovering over should have been brought to another table. We were sort of greeted but told to sit and wait.. 2 customers come in just behind us, and were seated immediately, while my mother with her walker, and I sat on a granite topped ice cold bench, and waited while they cleared a table, pardon a booth for a person with a walker... about 10 minutes later, we received our menus and we're finally greeted by waitress who clearly was rushed although the place was not busy. We asked for coffee, tea, and a few minutes to decide what we wanted. Very quickly we got our coffee and tea. It was correct. We were happy with that. The coffee was good. My mom said the tea was excellent. Nothing wrong with it was a good tea and they brought milk and honey as requested I order the 222 special underwhelming at best. The French toast was dry in the center like it had not been soaked long enough in the egg mixture, the sausage the breakfast sausage was excellent. I would I would venture to say it's not the cheap breakfast sausage you get at most places I'm going to Belgian waffle and it was excellent. She was very impressed. It was not soggy. It was crisp crunchy and soft in the middle. Had a good flavor her eggs were perfect as were mine. I had mine over easy. She had her over soft and they were perfect. I'll have to try their lunch things to comment more about that. The place was clean easy to find and probably a decent place for a good breakfast if you're in a hurry and you happen to be in the area I certainly wouldn't go out of my way at this point for just breakfast there. Nice selection of benedicts and omelets​​ - I'm a fan of the Phoenix omelet made spicey, and they have *real maple syrup* which is a big win! Service & Kitchen can be hit/miss - Misses are the "fruit" option as a side, was fruit salad that was overripe and certainly not freshly made. My wife is about 50% on getting her eggs cooked the way she orders them and asking for forgotten things (like the real maple syrup, Tabasco​, etc.) can take a while. I have not been happy with their non-breakfast items. Their $8.95 garden salad​ is nothing more than iceberg lettuce, 1 slice of a bland tomato, 4 slices of cucumber, and 3 slices of onion (see pic) - basically $8.95 for hamburger​ garnish. Had their steak tips once and they were pretty dry. They serve breakfast all day, I recommend sticking to that. read more

My wife and I went to lunch here because we haven't been here for awhile. Something simple to eat. My wife got the Monte Christi sandwich and she couldn't eat it because it was soaking with something which made it hard to eat and she left it there. I got the Norton Bombers dogs, don't know how they cooked them but the dogs were not crispy, I took a bite and half the dog stayed in the bun? Think they half boiled them instead of using the grill! I feel like this place is vastly underrated... My family and I came here after trying to get in some other nearby places that were full. I didn't even know this place existed except my daughter who goes to a nearby college said that she had been for a very good breakfast and maybe we should try it. We had no trouble getting in, our waitress was great. Our dinner came quickly and it was delicious. Two of us had the chicken pot pie that were total handcrafted surprises... Full of chicken and fantastic crust. The other two of us had chicken cutlet and I have to say I'm a little jealous that they get to have it again today. The cutlet was cooked and breaded to perfection and the sauce was not too sweet. Delicious! I think this is going to be my go to place when I am in the Norton/Norwood area. read more

The prices are high but I wouldn't mind it if the surroundings were good .. there's a nice big screen tv you can watch and try to relax while eating but on certain mornings the cook has a radio loud enough to annoy me so I'm watching tv and in background I am hearing annoying loud music in the other ear which I think is rude, and also as much as I spend there the owner sometimes visits and doesn't even say Hi to her customers. If I'm going to spend a lot of money there and tips I would expect some kind of respect back. I'm sorry, the restaurant itself is adorable and the staff was friendly, but our dinner was mediocre, at best. We ordered comfort favorites like chicken piccata and chicken pot pie. I thought the pasta and wine sauce were tasty, but the chicken was quite bland/dry and the pot pie lacked a lot of filling (the bf said it tasted like a can of gravy with a couple of chunks of chicken) and the cranberry sauce tasted/looked canned. Yes, while not everyone expects everything to be made homemade - especially in a commercial kitchen - I guess he had higher expectations. We also saw Kraft mac&cheese on the kids' menu for $6.... Anyway! We're right in the area so we really wanted to try it, but maybe we ordered the wrong things? We don't do seafood and the people next to us got mostly seafood items, so maybe those are better! However, I'm a pretty good cook myself so I wouldn't necessarily pay to go back for dinner. read more

Growing up in Norton in the 1980's and 1990's breakfast options consisted of Honey Dew Donuts, Kricket's Korner or homemade fried dough. Kricket's was considered an occasional treat. Fried dough at home was the go-to default delicious breakfast option. I left Norton to go to college, then followed my heart to New York where breakfast and brunch places are overflowing. To come home for the holidays over the years, it has been a pleasure to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but that also meant I've had the pleasure to see my small sweet town grow. Granted the Roche Bros strip mall needs some work, but for the past few times before hitting the road, my parents and I have gone to Kelly's. What an absolute pleasure to have such a quaint breakfast place with amazing food. My personal favorite is the breakfast sandwich. Nothing better to soak up that extra holiday cheer with some delicious egg cheese and sausage sandwich. The staff could not be friendlier, prices are right in line with what locals are looking for.
