I took my car here to get fixed after I ended up with diesel in an unleaded engine. (Got what should have been unleaded from the station but they had accidentally been filled with diesel.) They did work and returned my car; however a day later my check engine light came on. Instead of having me bring my car in to read the code they said keep driving it for a few days cause it's just working things through the engine after the diesel contamination. I wasn't comfortable driving my car with the light on since to me something caused the light to come on and it doesn't just work things through the engine. I took my car to a local dealership and they diagnosed the engine light as an air intake gasket being installed incorrectly by the tech at Keller. I brought it to their attention and all they would do to fix it was say bring it back and let them redo the work. Well how can I trust them to do it correctly when they didn't the first time. And they missed several fuel contamination things that the dealership is now doing, so they hadn't even fully resolved the initial problem and had messed up the gasket. Everytime I have taken my car here I've had bring it back within 2-4 weeks of my car being serviced. I had my coolant reservoir fixed and an oil change (over $1000) and within a couple weeks my car was telling me I needed coolant. I poured a whole jug of coolant in it and brought it back, only for them to tell me there was just an air bubble pushing the coolant down and it's fine. I got my brakes done and they felt weird from the start but I figured I just needed to get use to the new brakes. Then I got a popped tire, AAA and discount tire couldn't get my tire off because they said whoever did my brakes stripped the lug nuts. So I then had to get it towed back to kellers just to get the tire off my car. I am now realizing my brakes weren't just feeling weird for no reason. The brake booster sensor needs to be replaced and there's a leak, this is another $1,100. I just spent almost $800 at kellers maybe about a month ago. They're telling me it's not their fault the sensor went out, it's just extremely odd that whenever this shop touches my car I'm having to spend thousands of dollars and things don't stop going wrong. I paid $225 just for the diagnostic and the man at the counter couldn't even tell me where the leak was when I asked. read more

Talk to David to make appointment prior last week about an issue and also this morning, but in the end ,when I came to pick up my car, my question was totally forgotten and never addressed to mechanic, who was working on my car. My son is on the spectrum and brought his car to Keller to replace a clutch 1 year and 2 months ago. After 20,000 miles his clutch was slipping again so we brought it back to Keller. At the time of the first repair, he was made aware of a 50,000 mile warranty for the clutch. Its printed on his receipt. If you go to the company website the 50,000-mile warranty is listed on page 1 in the first paragraph. When the work was done, I drove him to the shop to pick up his car and discovered they were going to charge him full price for parts and labor. I brought the warranty to their attention and the owner told me the warranty was void because my son drives his car for work. Who doesn't drive their car for work??? I've seen other businesses take advantage of my son in this exact same way because they think he won't complain. My son will not return to Keller and I will not bring any of my 4 cars back. They tried to take advantage of a challenged young man, I caught them, asked them to make it right and they wouldn't. I gave them a 2nd chance to make it right when I emailed the owner and got no response. Since there is no response, my option is to let the world know how they do business. The owner does not honor their word regarding a printed warranty on both a receipt and their website. The owner is a shabby excuse for a business man. read more

Companies like this are the reason we use words like shyster when talking about a business. My wife goes there to get an oil change, her plug had gotten all chewed up so we bought one and she brought it with her and asked them to use the new one. Next oil change, guess what? The old plug is in there. They claim they put the new one in. As if I have nothing better to do then switch plugs to con them out of an extra oil plug. Pretty sad to alienate customers over an oil plug they didn't even pay for. By the way: if they lied about putting the new plug in, did they lie about changing the oil? read more

I made an appointment and dropped off my car at 7:30 Am, I called at noon and was told it was being worked on. I called back at 4:00 to be told they hadn't looked at it and they were backed up and couldn't do it. I asked to talk to the manager but he was too busy. I wanted to give my business to a local company but was left extremely disappointed and now have to find someone to fix my car. Terrible customer service. read more

Been a loyal Keller customer for a few years, but today that changed. We could overlook the consistent errors in estimating the completion time for their work (if they tell you 45 minutes, plan on 90 minutes) and the "colorful" language from the front desk staff while customers are waiting nearby, but today was the icing on the cake. Called in to schedule a tire rotation and oil change. Verified with the technician when I checked in and provided the coupon. When I finally picked up my car, only the oil change was done. The "oops" I received from the tech was quickly followed with "they didn't need to be rotated anyway". No apologies--instead it was on to the next customer. Love their low prices, but can no longer tolerate the mistakes and absence of customer service. read more

I wish I could give them a 0!!! I took my car in for an oil change, that ended up costing 94.00, because my car takes 6 quarts of synthetic oil. Then they went ahead and rotated my tires. Justin told me that I would have to leave the car there all day being I didn't have a appointment. I went to pick up my car at 5:00 pm, there was a very larger dent and many scratches on the back quarter panel. John the manager told me that it was a hit and run in the parking lot, and I need to file that on my insurance. They aren't taking any blame for my car. Buyer beware!!! They promote their shop on discount sites such Money mailer & Groupon to attract customers. Once they get you in the door for an oil change, they find all sorts of "issues" with your vehicle. By time you leave they have quoted you several hundreds of dollars worth of repairs. Some of us fall or have fell for this sort of hustle. They used a process of elimination on our dime and the vehicles problems still exist. We filed a complaint with the BBB and will continue to educate consumers on the mistreatment this shop gives to the paying customer. Run run far away from this business or your wallet will literally pay the price. read more

I'm going to have to add to the negative narrative about this company. I took a diesel truck in to investigate a check engine light. The vehicle was going into regen almost constantly. Keller's quote for repair was over $5,000.00 and included replacement of the diesel particulate filter. Ford did the repair under warranty and replaced the EGR and did a manual regen which fixed the problem. Not sure what is going on with this shop but I won't be back. read more

I was hoping to find a shop nearby for repairs, so gave Keller's a try. They fixed the battery issue at a price that seemed high, but I just wanted the problem resolved so willingly paid it. When we picked up the vehicle, an SRS warning light was on that hadn't been on previously. Perhaps unrelated, but I would expect a shop to willingly explore the problem, which they would not do. These guys are a joke. Charged me 200 dollars to "diagnose" what's wrong with my truck. They said i needed a whole new engine and tried to sell me on twenty thousand dollar engine replacement. The only thing wrong with my truck was a small leak from under the high pressure oil pump. Tried to get my money back because they obviously didn't diagnose anything and were trying to hustle me. All i got back was attitude from the fat guy that works in the office. It's been 2 months since I took my truck to them, and guess what? I didn't need a new engine, I had a dealership fix it and it's running great. read more

I had an oil change appointment scheduled for 1:00pm today and I was running about 5 minutes late because of the weather. (It was snowing) I had called Keller's at 12:55 and informed them that I was running a few minutes late and I asked if it would be a problem and the gentleman on the phone says "well just hurry up". I wouldn't had been so annoyed with this usually but it was just the fact the he was rude and seemed annoyed with me. I understand that I had an appointment for a reason but as a company they need to understand that things happen and it's best to accommodate the customer. I pulled in the parking lot at 1:03 and at that point I decided that I was just going to miss my appointment and go else where. They didn't deserve my business, time, or money. In my humble opinion, rip-off artists and con-men. I had my wrecker drop off my car there twice, because they're within walking distance. Horrible reason to pick a mechanic as it turns out. They NEVER fixed the underlying problem, but always found at least $1,000 worth of other problems to fix. I'm a chump and fell for it. Because they gave me a "military discount". I'm ashamed of myself for falling for it. Avoid these crooks until they're replaced by somebody honest, please. read more

They have done everything from recharge a dead battery to perform numerous repairs/ replace parts on a POS car we bought including changing the belts and the air induction system. This shop does a good job. I understand that people are going to have a common complaint for all auto repair shops stating "I go in for an oil change and they tell me everything is wrong with my car" or they try and up-sell you. If this is the case, maybe you have something else wrong with your car, but you have no obligation to get the additional work done. Does your lawn guy not try to sell you fertilizer? Does the restaurant not want you to buy dessert and appetizers? You don't have to buy the fertilizer, nor the desserts and you probably don't give them bad reviews because of they offered you those items. I use Keller's for routine maintenance and this last weekend, I had them replace front ball joints. Yes, I did receive a call about needing another part but having them install 2 tie rods instead of just one saved me about $200 - $300 in future labor costs. the extra works was $100. The work was done in 1 day but in case it wasn't, they offered me a car to drive at no charge. Having work done on your car or truck is never fun. Keller's does a good job, they have fair prices and they make it easy. i couldn't ask for anything else in this situation. read more

They completely took advantage of my wife racking up over $4,500 in repairs. EVERYTHING they were supposed to fix came out worse than it went in. We paid $1300 (to just remove the dash) so they could fix the heater... One side works now but the entire back doesn't. When we brought this to Keller's attention they then told us our car had two separate heating systems and we only paid to fix one. They broke the tailgate and wouldn't take responsibility for it. The brakes we paid to have fixed still don't work after multiple returns to the store. They also supposedly replaced the entire cooling system and that exploded in a year. We still find random bolts and nuts cleaning out the car. My wife called multiple times trying to get things fixed and the manager Nate talked down to her like she was stupid. I highly recommend going somewhere else. The level of incompetence and dishonesty in this shop is beyond disgusting. read more

This place is absolutely terrible! I brought my truck in and described my issue to a T; $2,500 and four business days later I get my truck back,1 issue was fixed right.. 4 new shocks and an alignment. The second issue was not fixed, the rear end was rebuilt but the pinion drive was not replaced, though they found a groove in it. I brought the truck back a few days later, and I explained that the sound that caused the visit in the first place was not fixed, I drove around with the mechanic and pointed out the sound to him.. He said it was the pinion that was not replaced during the rebuild. In addition to this original problem I noticed one of my exhaust straps (dual exhaust) was broken. (The shocks and rear end were worked, this is the exact area of the broken strap.)We made arrangements to drop the truck again first thing Monday morning. Three business days I get a call saying my warranty will pay an additional $1100 dollars for them to rework the issue but I needed to pay $150 that was not covered. Outraged I tried to go to the next level, (it is a privately owned chain) but the owner is no longer active in the business and the shop managers are pretty much as high as it goes. The manager of the Parker store helped and the additional charges were removed, when I picked up my truck the second time, the other exhaust strap was broken too and the one brought to their attention was not addressed. I pointed out the 2 broken straps to the manager at pick up and he basically said it was my issue not his. I think this was done out of spike for fighting additional charges when the job was charged twice for failure to address the issue correctly the first time! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE..I CANNOT SPEAK FOR THE OTHER LOCATIONS BUT THE SMOKEY HILL & ORCHARD STORE IS HORRIBLE. I HAVE NOT HAD THE TRUCK BACK LONG ENOUGH TO ENSURE IT WAS FIXED RIGHT THE SECOND TIME, BUT IF IT NEEDS REWORK AGAIN, I WILL TAKE IT TO ANOTHER LOCATION read more

I got a dummy light and took my car in to have the oil changed to see if that helped. They changed the oil but wanted $70 or $80 to do a diagnostic (that Pep Boys and O'Reilly and most mechanics do for free). When I picked it up, the dummy light went off so I headed to work. On I-25 the dummy light came back on. On 6th Avenue, steam or smoke starting pouring from my engine so I pulled off on Sheridan. I had no coolant in my car and had to fill it with water until I could get coolant so my engine didn't overheat. Turned out to be a faulty water pump. Had they diagnosed it, I probably would've had them fix it. I don't know why they didn't notice there was no coolant in my system or why they don't diagnose dummy lights when you bring your car in. read more

Nope I won't go back! Truck was overheating, Keller's wanted $3300 to replace radiator, change hoses, and reseal engine due to the damage from overheating. Took truck to a another mechanic. $10 radiator cap replacement fixed it, a $3290 difference in quoted Keller's price. The seals on the engine checked out fine as well as the entire radiator system and hoses (they all held pressure over night). Plus Keller's charged me $119 to misdiagnose the problem and seemed upset when I said the price was too high and that I wanted another opinion. Additionally, I asked Keller's to top off the coolant, which they charged me for (as expected) so I could drive to another mechanic. Car overheated on the way over to other mechanic 3 miles away, so pulled over and had AAA tow car (no cost to me, just a hassle). Reputable mechanic stated that they did not properly top off the coolant so that's why it overheated on the short drive over. Kellers has also refused to refund their blatant misdiagnoses. Kellers wanted me to bring the truck back to their mechanic's for another look. Truck is running great and these incompetent folks aren't getting my vehicle again. Rather then bringing it back, because I don't trust them, I disputed the charge on the credit card. I have both the estimate, and the diagnosis price from Kellers and the other mechanics assessment and fix. Over 600 additional miles are now on Truck with no issues after $10 fix. read more

My experience with Keller's started with a simple deal on groupon. New to the area, I was looking for a reputable repair shop. Definitely didn't find what I was looking for! What I did find were mechanics with poor, if any, diagnostic skills. Three trips and roughly $700 later, they now have it all figure out. $3000 please and your problem is history but with the disclaimer, something else could go wrong. This is not the experience I expected. I just wanted to take my vehicle somewhere, be told straight up the issue(s) I was dealing with and then make a logical/sound decision. Not be taken advantage of or nickeled and dimed to death. Not keep throwing money at a problem you don't have the knowledge, experience, expertise, morals or honesty to divulge to me. Well, at least, until your pockets have been padded! Well enjoy that $700! Had you earnd my respect and loyalty, it would've been much more!
