I went here yesterday because I was craving a Shrimp Poboy ( they have the best) and it didn't disappoint! The young lady behind the counter was very nice and patient with me, she even helped me get some content! The restaurant is always clean and fresh when I go. I'll most definitely be back.

The food was HORRIBLE! I would not feed this to my dog! Have the nerve to say they don't do refunds after serving me raw fish! The store was very dirty on the inside. Cashier was not knowledgeable and lied on what happened with my order. I would not step a foot back in ther

Amazing service, food, portion size, and prices!! Would 100% recommend. We've never seen catfish pieces that big and they really are "overstuffed" poboys at a great price. Freshly caught seafood here in US and also a great unit price by the pound.it was the cutest little shop with good music and service with fresh grocery options as well.

People, People, if you come here and leave hungry, your mouth must have been taped shut. This place can and will fill you up with a wide variety of Louisiana favorites (boiled, fried, grilled and baked)! Items from boiled turkey necks to the great fried seafood; all at a very reasonable cost! The staff is exceptionally friendly! Lots of regulars! It is easy to get to, find parking and place an order. Don't rush and take your time to look over the offerings as you might change it a few times. I should have slowed down. They have a lot! It is clean and has a great view of the world on the street corner! I went for the combo and nearly busted my gut, seriously! Almost too much to eat in 2 meals! The catfish was amazing! The fried shrimp were sweet, moist and huge! The potato salad was quite good! I tried a few of my GF's oysters and WOW were they full of great flavor! Really good place to fill up your belly! Lots of good food at a great price!

    Crawfish two pounds

I'm going to be very blunt, never judge a restaurant just by looking at it from the outside. This place looks rundown, parking lot is super small. But we were surprised at how delicious and hot ready to go the food was. The wings are made when order is placed, they have great prices on crawfish- hubby got a great deal from two pounds ate it all too. On the table you get many options, and of course paper towels since the food can get messy! My wings kinda burned throw my container, but that's what impressed me. Why? Because it really shows just how fresh they make their food! So don't worry about the small wait, by the time you get your food it'll be worth it. And let's talk about their drink options, so many drink options omg!! We got the fountain drinks, and the cup is huge. Sure doesn't fit in our drink holder but it's enough. They even have Coke Zero, Coke, Barb's Root Beer, Sprite, Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke, then tea as well. They even have alcohol options- which I forgot to ask for. The place is set up like a cute diner, chairs and tables are comfortable and they do have bathrooms in the back. They also have two entrances, and two counters so you are barely waiting. They do take card and have the best updated systems for it. The workers are super friendly and helpful throughout our meal today. Definitely going to recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get crawfish or any kind of seafood! Thank you, had a great time here.

Table & chairs available to sit & eat. Food was ready quick & I'm not sure about the prices but everything is higher than snoop dogg right now. A Co-worker chose this spot for lunch one day. I didn't take a minute to look at the menu to see if they served chicken tenders or not, i rather assumed... Anyways, they didn't serve "Chicken Tenders" but had some Chicken Breast left.. The lady treated me as any loving mother would a picky child.. She took the time she didn't have, the energy she didn't need to waste & the initiative to "make something shake" lol. I walked out with a chicken tender basket & a full stomach with food left over! I appreciate that & you more than you'll ever know for that small gesture of kindness, which was huge to me!

The food was good, so I looked forward to the day that he would open a brick-and-mortar restaurant. Well here it is. I ordered the Wednesday special, which consisted of mustard greens over rice, cornbread dressing, and candied yams. It normally comes with baked chicken, but I paid $2 to upgrade to fried fish. The fish was maybe a smidge under salted, but better undersalted than over-salted, and it was otherwise good. The greens were good too, and I especially enjoyed the dressing and yams. My meal was roughly ~$14, which is really fair considering I'll be eating off of it twice. The staff was friendly and my food was ready fairly quickly. The restaurant is a bit bare looking inside, but it's casual and still very new. I will definitely be returning. #blackownedbusiness

I called in my to go order and the person who took my order was nice. I ordered the grilled fish and shrimp which came with 2 sides. I got the green beans and side salad. I wanted Italian dressing, but they don't carry it so I settled on balsamic vinaigrette. She told me it'd probably be about 15 mins and since I live about 10 or so minutes away, I hopped in the car after I got off the phone and drove there. There were a few customers dining in but it wasn't very busy. My food was ready and sitting at the counter, so I paid and went home to eat. It was a nice sized piece of fish and a good bit of shrimp. Fish flavor was good but shrimp flavor was just okay. House salad and green beans both had pieces of bacon in them so I tried to avoid that as I ate. I believe the total was about $26 or $27. Overall it was just ok in my opinion. Some of the other items on the menu may taste better. I may try something else from them one day.

Whether it…read morewas fish to take home to cook, boiled seafood, fried seafood plates, or even stuff from their cold section I've tried a good bit. Last Friday I went and got 2 stuffed crabs(in the picture). Initially I was like $13 for the two scoops of stuffed crab seemed high but I know crabmeat is expensive. Right when I was about to pay for my food the hot crawfish came out so I had to get a taste and ordered 3lbs. My total was about $33. Prices are cheaper if you pay with cash (they list the price with cash and the price if you are paying with card) so I'd say bring some cash. The crawfish were good as usual and were a nice size. Other things I've had in the past that I enjoyed were the crawfish fettuccini, shrimp poboy, fried fish plate, and potato salad. There is seating available inside but it's not a big place so a big group would probably need to get their food to go. Also this is a pretty popular place especially on Fridays so expect to wait in line or you can call and order your phone ahead of time (which I usually do).

The Real Deal - Still My Favorite After 9 Years…read more I wrote my first review for this place back in February 2017, and here we are in April 2026. After nine years of lunches and dinners, I just had to come back and say thank you. In a city that's constantly changing with fancy new tourist spots or quick grab and go windows, this place is a constant. It hasn't changed, and that's exactly why I love it. When I walk in and grab a seat, I feel right at home. It's casual, it's comfortable, and it's the real New Orleans. The food is just as good today as it was nearly a decade ago. I find myself constantly craving their po-boys and gumbo. Whether it's the hot fish, the stuffed peppers, or the mashed potatoes, you can tell everything is made with quality ingredients and a lot of love. The family that runs this business has a huge heart for the community, and it shows. If you are a local looking for authentic Cajun food that stays true to its roots, look no further. This is the kind of staple we are lucky to have.

I'm so glad I did. The guy working behind the counter told me they had just started doing something new. I don't know what they did, but it's absolutely astounding. Very rich (for a pho). TONS of beef. One bowl is enough for two people imo. The crawfish boudin is another standout menu option. When it warms up a bit I want to try their snowballs too!
