Table & chairs available to sit & eat. Food was ready quick & I'm not sure about the prices but everything is higher than snoop dogg right now. A Co-worker chose this spot for lunch one day. I didn't take a minute to look at the menu to see if they served chicken tenders or not, i rather assumed... Anyways, they didn't serve "Chicken Tenders" but had some Chicken Breast left.. The lady treated me as any loving mother would a picky child.. She took the time she didn't have, the energy she didn't need to waste & the initiative to "make something shake" lol. Once upon a pandemic, I discovered a business called "Chef Nat's Kitchen," where Chef Nat was literally slinging meals from his household kitchen. The food was good, so I looked forward to the day that he would open a brick-and-mortar restaurant. Well here it is. I ordered the Wednesday special, which consisted of mustard greens over rice, cornbread dressing, and candied yams. It normally comes with baked chicken, but I paid $2 to upgrade to fried fish. The fish was maybe a smidge under salted, but better undersalted than over-salted, and it was otherwise good. The greens were good too, and I especially enjoyed the dressing and yams. My meal was roughly ~$14, which is really fair considering I'll be eating off of it twice. The staff was friendly and my food was ready fairly quickly. The restaurant is a bit bare looking inside, but it's casual and still very new. I will definitely be returning. #blackownedbusiness read more

Owner/Chef reached out to me to discuss my experience. She explained that the kitchen had an off day. I went back to give them another try and experience was 10x better. I ordered another bouding ball, 5 piece wings, and Powpow shrimp platter. Overall, food was much better. The boudin ball totally different in consistency and pretty dam good. It is spicy. It might not look like much but the owners and their family are incredibly welcoming. We ordered a combo fish and shrimp and a shrimp platter. When I say 'Oh my gosh' just know that I love shrimp and almost never like catfish but the shrimp here had so much flavor and the catfish was delightfully crispy! I was saying This is so good! to the last bite! The iced tea was nice and strong. That food was so dang good I wanted to steal the cook and take them back to Denver to show em how to do it! read more

I don't give 5 stars but to only the most incredible places. But a 3 star rating is fair for this place. Boudin balls were nicely seasoned large but missed a remoulade sauce or something of that nature to take it over the top. A mistake was made on my wife's order and the server graciously gave us a leg quarter meal along with a corrected special . Leg quarter was a salty but evened out with the super sweet yams and the earthy greens over rice. The fried fish rocked and the cornbread dressing was enjoyed , the mistake item was okra shrimp and sausage over rice and my wife enjoyed it! All in all it was a good meal .
