We chose this place because of the plant based cheese option. We have 2 vegans in our family so it was a no brainer when we saw they offer soy cheese. A smaller establishment so keep that in mind. Nothing fancy. Pizza was good. I wouldn't say amazing but good enough. The sauce lacked flavor but they were generous with toppings. My parents liked the wild rice soup. They have "pizza kits" for kids. Such a fun idea! They bring pre portioned ingredients and crust and kids get to put their pizza together. The kids really enjoyed it! The 2 in our group that ordered sandwiches were not impressed. Just said they weren't very good and would stick to pizza next time. Didn't offer specifics. It was an explore MN weekend getaway for me and my fam and we went to Bemidji to see the Paul Bunyan and Babe statutes. Wanting something familiar but local we tried Keith's Pizza. It was a very nice and well kept restaurant, awesome staff and some good food! Great variety on the menu! We have tried Keith's twice now. I cannot for the life of me understand the hype for this place. The pizza has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. The crust, the sauce, the toppings. It's just lacking flavor. We will be going elsewhere. read more

The place had very good service. I decided to take out my pizza but I did look around the place. I would certainly eat in if there was a next time. I ordered the special which was a large sausage with bread sticks. Bread sticks were very good but the sauce was very plain. The pizza was average favor but better than a frozen pizza. Sausage was few and far between. Very small probably frozen. With a few minor improvements this place could have a great product. Price was average but I have had much better for the price. Five of us dined at Keith's Pizza for the first and only time. The pizza was just ok and greasy. The service was absolutely horrible! We were the only diners in the entire restaurant and had to walk to the counter to ask for a refill on sodas, even though we had a server. Our refills didn't arrive until after our pizzas arrived. We only saw our server when we were seated and she took our order. The server never checked on us again until she brought our pizzas to us. I then had to wait in line at the counter, behind customers picking up their to-go orders, just to pay for our sit-down meal. The restaurant itself was nice, with a warm ambiance, but for mediocre pizza and horrible service, we will not be back. read more

It really pains me to write this. I love a good pizza and enjoy trying new places when traveling. Based on popular opinion when I polled several locals about a good pizza place my hopes were high. Ordered a couple things to try. Wanted to build a simple 3-topping pizza but the total for three toppings cost more than a 5-topping pizza from the same menu. Aside from the mild aneurysm in my math brain, it also created an inconvenience in ordering. (TIP: order an existing pizza from the menu and make substitutions is key if you want to keep up with the math/value). They also charge $2.50 for delivery regardless if the address is only 900 ft. away at the nearest hotel. Asked if the toasted cheese bread had any garlic on it. Was told yes. False statement. Both the pizza and (non-garlic) cheese bread showed up lukewarm (900 ft delivery). The crust on the pizza was undercooked and soggy- due to the excess moisture from the sauerkraut (which was a disappointment in itself because "The River" was supposed to be the owner's 'specialty'. Woulda thought they had this issue figured out by now). I always give second chances so we will see if things improve tomorrow night but, so far, I'm not impressed. Oh well. read more

They have awesome Pizza. the IX is the best. I took my Grand-daughter last week for lunch. Cheese slices for her pepperoni & sausage for me. Pizza is good quality. Thin crust is my favorite here. The all meat pizza is fantastic, I love the texture of the sausage. The veggie pizza was a little heavy on green olives. I guess they need to get rid of them? The lack of stars are for value and customer service. Two 12" "large" pizzas cost $40 even with using a coupon. They refuse to acknowledge your coupon over the phone and force you to bring it in. If you are referencing a coupon from their website - get this - you have to print it out and bring it to them. This is a great local pizzeria here in Bemidji. The pizza is out of this world!!!! I came here for lunch having the buffet. I wasn't disappointed with any of the pizzas I tried. We were recommended to this restaurant by the staff at the hotel we're staying at. We were in the mood for pizza and were told this was the place to go. Even better was that we heard it was a buffet on weekdays for lunch. We got there just after the buffet started and we were glad we did. The place had filled up pretty good. Of course it is a bit smaller than we thought it would be. The food was amazing although not a whole lot to pick from. Just three pizzas, fried chicken, breadsticks, and soup. The soup was creamy chicken wild rice and honestly it was the best that I had ever had. I must have had four bowls if it. I have eaten here often over the years and have always had the same opinion, their crust is terrible. It's by far the worst crust options in Bemidji. Their pizza sauce is also too spiced. Their prices keep going up, every time you go in it seems like all the prices have gone up by about $1 on almost everything. The girl that took care of us was very sweet. She was quick and checked how our food was tasting at a perfect time. The menu is big, perfect for a college student and their parent. After spending over $20, the pizza we ordered was just very plain, somewhat overbaked and quite unimpressive.
