Not their fault. I'm just getting to the point. They have an excellent service department, especially Sammy. D Josephine was extremely helpful when I was extremely irate. They have an excellent customer service department too Top notch! Today, unfortunately, we had to order replace another refrigerator, (3 years of life) but we had a great sales rep Ashley. I paid $156 for a service call on my 6 year old washer. They replaced 2 parts to the tune of $200. It did not resolve the issue. They came back out (no charge). The technician told me he did not know what was causing the issue. He could try another $150 part. If that didn't work it would be another $400 part. I told him for these prices I could replace the machine. He said yeah, you should probably just do that. He was never able to pinpoint/diagnose the issue. He himself called Keiths to ask if they would reimburse for the parts he already replaced, they said no. He asked if they would reimburse the service fee as he couldn't diagnose. Again, no. They were willing to give me $50 off a new machine if I so chose. I have been a life long customer of Keiths. I will never, ever go back. read more

Credit to the delivery team--they did the right thing by identifying the dryer was damaged and stopping the delivery. Unfortunately, the overall experience with Keith's Appliance was very disappointing. I purchased the dryer when there were multiple units in stock (around 10), but delivery couldn't be scheduled for two weeks due to their backlog. After waiting, the unit arrived damaged--and by then, all other units had been sold. I also had to call them myself both to arrange delivery and again after the failed delivery--they never followed up. So despite buying while it was in stock, I ended up with nothing after weeks of waiting. I understand issues happen, but there was no meaningful effort to make this right. I hope the team takes a closer look at this situation. read more

We purchased a new home and needed a package deal (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer, and dryer). From the start, we were assisted by Beth Romano for the sales process. The knowledge she had on what fit our needs was astounding! Who knew that appliances are SO complicated. Beth came up with a package that completely met our needs! We wanted to shop local and I KNOW we got a better pricing package than the big box stores! An added bonus was a financing option that was perfect- no interest until 2027. I understand this may not always be available, but it worked out for us! The delivery was perfect as well. Keith's uses some sort of app that showed me exactly what time delivery would be made. It was on-spot. Kevin and his assistant (don't know his name) were super friendly and engaging! They worked tirelessly and efficiently to deliver the pieces. As an added bonus, they checked the dryer duct thing and cleaned out stuff that shouldn't be there. This isn't the first time we used Keith's Appliances, and it will definitely not be the last time! Bought a gas Bosch gas cooktop at the Mystic location. Picked it up and as I installed it found the gas nozzle was damaged (shipping, me, manufacturer defect? Not sure, honestly). The guys at Kieth's didn't hesitate to order a new cooktop and have it ready the next day. That customer service has earned my loyalty. read more

Keith's Appliances is our local hero! We needed to replace our old washing machine. My Wife and I looked at several stores, brands, and options. We found that Keith's website was straight forward and easy to use. After some research we decided to visit the Keith's Appliances store showroom in Norwich. A very knowledgeable and savvy sales representative Monica greeted us right away and her product knowledge made our choice easy. Monica was able to transition our visit efficiently to purchase and then delivery setup. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Delivery was a snap. Confirmation of the delivery time was made the evening before delivery by text and THE DELIVERY TEAM WAS ON TIME! Keith's Appliances delivery team uses a phone app where we could track the progress of the delivery team. The technology is similar to rideshare apps. We could watch and track the progress of the delivery team down to the minute that they arrived. The delivery team was uniformed, professional, and arrived in a marked Keith's Appliance lift truck. Keiths appliances Norwich Ct . Horrible service !! Years ago bought a dryer from then took 6 service calls to get it right . This year a bought a refrigerator. Read temp 42 . Service came today . Man kept saying over and over i dont see anything wrong ? After a little over a hour and him calling the manufacture he says " i put some tape on it to seal it better, Maybe that will help . Let me know how you make out . Temp now reads 55. So again. I go through the manufacture and have to wait a few days . They said he put tape kn it ? . Its been years since i needed them for service . I took a chance it might be better . I bought a dishwasher from them and needed service and i by passed them and fixed instantly . Should of done that this time With the refrigerator . read more

Completely unprofessional. The guys who delivered my fridge badly damaged my front door frame when they took the door off to get the fridge inside. They reinstalled the door with zero mention of the damage and then took off very quickly. I took pictures and sent them in an email to Keith's. They apologized and offered to send a guy out to fix it, but the guy didn't arrive at the scheduled time. I have a life and I can't afford to wait around for their service, so I just let it go, but I will never buy from them again. I already started buying other major appliances from Wickford. read more

Have bought in store as well as online items. Always a smooth process. In store setup is organized and allowed us to view the various models in person. Staff helped us pick a few items that were on sale. Online purchase was just as good. Researched a particular model cooktop and found either the other stores were out of stock or higher priced. Keith's was priced to sell, made the online purchase and picked up the item the next week. Good correspondence from the store about the progress of our purchase. horrible. Beware!!! They came to fix my dishwasher while it was still under warranty. We needed to wait for a part and then it only worked for a few days and then broke. At this point it was no longer under warranty, and they would not honor the warranty. If they fixed it correctly the first time it would have been covered. They were so rude. Last week we stopped into Keith's Appliances in Mystic to potentially purchase a new dishwasher. We were promptly greeted by Adam. He showed us dishwashers from Bosch, Miele, and Fisher Paykel and was able to describe most of the features very clearly. He provided enough solid information that we purchased another Fisher Paykel double dishdrawer dishwasher. Adam was very professional from start to end and if there were specifics he did not know he would find the information. This is the second satisfied appliance purchase we have made from Keith's since they purchased Coogan Gildersleeve. So far I am more than pleased by my first experience purchasing an appliance from Keith's! Adam Huston, at the Mystic location, was a huge help and so patient! I needed our new dishwasher to be panel ready as we are doing a kitchen remodel and I wanted it to look like another cabinet. The original KitchenAid model he had ordered for me ended up being discontinued. He looked into other options for us and was super helpful! Delivery was smooth and professional as well. I will definitely go through Keith's Appliances the next time I need something. Everyone is so down-to-earth and understanding. Especially doing everything during a pandemic! It was so much nicer dealing with a hometown business versus a major national chain. This whole thing went as smoothly as possible. If anything, Adam was waiting for ME to get back to HIM. :) The store is also beautiful and a relaxing experience, which is a plus when you're making big decisions! This is a review for the sister store in Mystic, same ownership. I had the best possible experience with my purchase of a new washer and dryer. The salesman at the Mystic showroom was very personable, knowledgable, intelligent, honest, and helpful. The showroom itself is beautiful, excellent parking, both occasions I visited I parked right next to the entrance door. The delivery and installation people were excellent, one in particular very knowledgable, extremely polite, exceptionally helpful. This was refreshing for me with regards to delivery people who in my experience I have found to be usually abrupt, terrible with communication, not very sharp, and unapologetically careless. He even gave me tips on operating and caring for the machine. Delivery and installation of the dryer was also very satisfactory. They were very quick, professional, and efficient. As for the delivery scheduling, I received an automated text that confirmed my delivery dates and times, and on the day provided a link for tracking the driver along his entire route progress in real time, amazing!! I held off giving this review, but ultimately, I think people should know about our experience. Our refrigerator died at the end of August. It was not able to be repaired, so we needed to replace it quickly. We went to Keith's after looking at their website and seeing a model in their Bargain Basement we were interested in. The salesperson, Rick, was very pleasant and helpful. He explained that the refrigerator was removed from the floor was because it was being replaced with a newer model and it had a couple of minor dents on the side. The price was not a huge mark-down, but it wasn't full price either. We purchased it and it was delivered in 2 days. After installing the refrigerator, they said it needs 24 hours to stabilize, so we waited the full 24 hours. The refrigerator never got cold inside. We called Keith's, hoping to have someone come out quickly to see if perhaps something wasn't connected properly and was a simple fix. We were told they'd call us in a few minutes. An hour later they called back and we were transferred to someone who said they could have someone come out in 2 1/2 weeks to look at the refrigerator. Completely unacceptable and we said so. Rick called us, was very apologetic and assisted in getting us a new refrigerator which was delivered almost a week later. We did have to pay extra since it was new and still in the box. It works just fine. We will not return. read more

Stay far away from this rip off store. They lie and send defective products. The people they employee don't know a thing about what they are delivering or hooking up. I had to have a friend level the washer and dryer. That friend has been dealing with Keiths for over a month trying to get a new washer and dryer installed. Every single dryer that was delivered was dented severely on both sides after unboxing. He has been doing service for years and recommending others 'like me' to Keiths. He just had the last delivery of yet ANOTHER defective dryer. He told them take it all back and called his credit card company. I wanted to write a bad review when I had my appliances delivered because of the lies I went through and the unprofessionalism and the way they treat customers looking for answers. DO NOT use Keiths appliances. I will be reporting them to BBB as well. This is nonsense. They are liars and rip offs. read more

We completely support small, local businesses. Dropped in for a very easy sale, we knew the washer and dryer we wanted to purchase. Approached, not greeted, by a salesman, Adam. Isn't that the front line? After only two minutes, I knew I was certainly not purchasing from this person. Rude, bothered by our presence, didn't help in any way, shape or form. Silence. But got his "digs" in when he could, as I stated, the first two minutes. We have purchased from Keith's before. Never again. Obviously, Keith's needs to reevaluate its employees. read more

Great experience The microwave in my over/under microwave/oven failed. Keith's technician determined the circuit board powering unit was bad. Keith's ordered a new one from the distributor, it failed. The same cycle repeated itself four times. Four new boards, four bad boards. Finally, Keith's ordered two boards from the manufacturer, the technician put board # 1 in - the microwave worked but the oven didn't. He then put board #2 in - the oven worked but the microwave failed again. Finally, the technician swap the good components of the two boards and everything worked. The great part of this experience is after paying for the first repair, there was never another charge or even the mention of additional charges. Through all of the this the attitude of the technician was super and professional. read more

Extremely disappointing. Called for an appointment and was told I could have last available after 3pm. Received a voicemail that they could only do 1pm. Phone call at 11:30 that they would be there in 10 minutes. I'm 30 minutes away, can't just walk out of work. I was told that they had cancellations and the whole days schedule moved up and they would not honor my 1pm confirmed time. Why is my appointment not honored because they suddenly have no appointments in the morning? read more

Worked with Linnai Miceli to select our 5 appliances for our new kitchen. She priced checked all of them in her system and found competitors offering lower prices in which she gave us the lower price. Her attention to the fine details are exceptional and she covered and cared about things I would have never thought of. GREAT job Linnai and thank you for treating me like a valued customer. I REALLY wanted my purchase of a dishwasher from a LOCAL business to work. Unfortunately this was doomed from the start, and got worse with the service crew. We found out in hindsight, we were sold a dishwasher with known issues. We missed the 7 day return policy because we went on vacation the day after it was installed, so I guess that's our bad. We had the service folks out 2x which ended up in two failed warranty repair attempts. At this juncture it was obvious the piece of equipment was a lemon-and we are without a dishwasher for 4 weeks. The service guys told us that the store would keep attempting repairs 100x before the store would consider taking this back. I'll add that the service crew scratched the heck out of the control board as they attempted to reinstall the dishwasher after the second repair attempt-they dared to deny doing it. Please just a little honesty, please. We've had enough. Time for the store to own up and take this back. They aren't going to though, we were told "that's what a warranty is for". I don't think a warranty is meant to force the owner to endure multiple failed repair attempts. We had to threaten a charge-back from our CC company for them to take it back. Now, they only want to refund the price of the unit, we are to eat the $130 failed install and the ancillary items purchased as part of the needed equipment. We are done with negotiating. The store has refunded the price of the dishwasher, they have picked up the dishwasher. They refuse to refund the entire invoice. We have instructed our CC company to charge back the balance of the invoice that the store refused to refund. I am saddened and disappointed by the lack of caring and service that accompanied this transaction. We have since found an other locally owned appliance store, we purchased a more expensive dishwasher and added a convection oven to the bill. So, a win for the new source! read more

Keith's cracked our granite countertop in half when removing our old stove to install the new one. We haven't had a stove/oven in 2.5 weeks. At first they said they'd replace our counter - we got three different estimates for them, at their request. Now they are trying to have some guy come over and "glue" it together. He literally emailed us "2 hinder 50 to glue (yes, hinder. Guessing he meant hundred) what??? It's cracked through to the point it's a completely removable piece of granite and there are chunks of granite missing. Oh, and Keith's told us if we wanted it sealed after their magical granite fixer did his thing, that's at our expense. Meanwhile, our oven we paid for is sitting in a warehouse somewhere because it can't be installed until our counter is repaired. Keith's Appliances. read more

Purchased a washer from the norwich store on Thursday. Paid for the washer and was told there were 45 washers in the Boston warehouse and that it would be available for pickup in the store on Monday. I received a call Monday saying there was an issue with the shipment and that it would be at the store on Friday (4 days later). Thursday night I received another call saying the washer was back ordered and would take months to come in. Why have your availability tags on each appliance if they are not even close to accurate. Salesman was not apologetic in the slightest and told me just to cancel and look elsewhere. Poor customer service with zero effort to please the customer. I will never return. read more
