Wow! There is *so* much information here! With free entry,…read moreyou can't go wrong. There is plenty of parking here for cars, RV's and busses. Several out door displays are in this area and in front of the building. The gentleman at the visitor information desk just inside the door recommended seeing the sub first, then return to visit the museum. Walk down the hallway, and out to the water, cross a gang plank and into a small structure on the top of the sub where a set of stairs leads down. A Navy guard is on duty here if you have questions. Be aware the stairs throughout are steep, and some quite narrow. Sub doorways are 'ports' you have to bend down and step over at the same time to get though. Or, grab the handle above the doorway and swing yourself through feet first. Some of the walkways through the sub are very narrow as well, and a tall person may have to 'duck' their head during their visit. This is a self guided tour. Both plastic and paper signage gives information along the way. I can not imagine living on a sub. Tiny bathrooms, tiny bunks, sleeping quarters right by work areas. It's quite an experience to see how comparatively palacial the officer quarters look once you see how the others live. The tour follows a loop through the sub and you exit where you enter. Return to the museum and there is plenty of information on the Nautilus as well as submarines in general. The museum has a 2nd floor in the room closest to the sub, with plenty of information and a viewing window. A movie plays in this room as well, with seats, in case you need a rest, or want to view the film. The gift shop, located by the museum entrance/exit has lots of nice items for purchase. Plush toys, puzzles, post cards, glassware, home decor, shirts, ornaments, jewelry, wind chimes and more. Prices are reasonable. I picked up a soy candle, compact mirror and post card. You can breeze right thru, or spend hours in here. Check out their website for more information, and plan a visit!

Yetter farms has become somewhat of a newer family tradition. Like most, once you've experienced…read moreYetter farms you will likely return year after year. This is a family owned farm and you can tell the moment that you walk on the property, that they take pride in it!! From the seasons greetings, to the saxophone playing Santa, to every staff member filled with Christmas cheer... It is quite literally impossible to walk around without grinning ear to ear :) The Christmas trees are plentiful and very fairly priced @ 65$ for 3-6 foot option. In addition they offer various wreaths, ornaments, as well as many other holiday gift options! Don't worry there are plenty of photo ops for the family, kids, and or pets as you can see from some of my own family photos! This year they have even had a Yetter farm proposal, which can be seen on their Insta. Don't forget to stop at the delicious donut truck for a hot donut and a coffee for the trip home! Let me repeat.. this is our family tradition and will be yours as well, once you've given them a visit!! Happy Holidays

Although the field was closed for cut your own, they had plenty of precut trees. We found one easily. A young guy helped us with the tree, wrote up our sale, marked it, and handed it over to be baled (and extra $2.) We also picked a beautiful wreath from the many they have on display. Inside is a shop with many little items and the area they are making the wreaths. Everyone is helpful and friendly. And they take credit cards! Most tree farms are cash or check only. Quick stop, great selection, comparable prices.

We also knew what to expect, price wise, but I actually thought it was fair considering the location and all the other restaurants at the casino. I really enjoyed my pistachio espresso martini, it was more pistachio forward than espresso but tasty. I got the kona steak tips and they were good, nothing to write home about but good. I thought for the price you got a good portion, plus truffle fries, side salad and bread. We didn't get dessert because we were full and it was late but they did seem fun. It's definitely a spot to attract visitors. I do feel it was priced the same or compatible as others in the casino.

After five hours, no phone call or email was received, so I attempted to call the vendor (phone OUT OF SERVICE) and send an email (no response). Finally a message was sent to me that the flowers were delivered, but no photo of the actual flowers was included, just the photo from the website. I had to call the funeral home and ask for THEM to confirm that the flowers were delivered. I still don't know what the flowers even looked like. Just a very unpleasant experience; I would NEVER use this florist again.
