Our food was delicious. The clam chowder was just ok tho different. The steak tips so tasty the steak frites special is worth it. Our waiter was cool gave good suggestions. My daughter never eats she ate a bit of everything. Pepsi products . No kids menu. Kinda pricey ...

We had an amazing waitress at the bar I think her name was Morgan, she was literally the best!! Chill but fun vibes and the brioche bread we had was perfect with our watermelon drink! You can come with friends or family, either way it's a win! It's definitely a vibe here and the drink is the highlight!

Okay so I'm going to give this restaurant some grace only because of what I ordered lol. One of my favorite meals to order at any restaurant is chicken and waffles. Yes it's a very simple meal and also stereotypical but whenever I see this on a menu, I'm always going to jump to the decision of ordering that.....literally every single time lol! There are places where I have eaten some of the best chicken and waffles I've ever had (Amy Ruth's in Harlem, NY) and then there's places where I've had some of the worst chicken and waffles......Sugar Factory being one of them. The waffles were very soft and usually I like my waffles with a little crunch. The chicken tenders that accompanied the waffles weren't the best. The biggest issue with this was that it was $30.00 and I don't think that was worth $30.00. My girlfriend ordered the salmon salad and liked it. We also ordered the giant non alcoholic Mai tai which was amazing but it was $47.00. Not to complain about the price but just know that when you come here you'll be paying more for the presentation and not the food. But if I were you guys, I'd go and try other things there because to be honest I don't think it's fair to say the whole restaurant is bad just because they can't make chicken and waffles. They probably have other things on the menu that are pretty good but if you're a chicken and waffles connoisseur like myself, you will be very very disappointed. If you take the chance at ordering this dish, try ordering the waffles with bone in chicken and maybe the experience will be a little better especially if you like your waffles soft. But the Mai tai was the highlight of the night for sure and it was served with all types of yummy treats inside the drink and along the rim of the glass. The presentation and aesthetic is their primary focus though!

We visited the Sugar Factory at Foxwoods this past Thursday, January 15th, to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday, her actual birthday. This was something we had been looking forward to for weeks. We made reservations ahead of time and clearly noted it was for a birthday. My daughter was dressed up, wearing a birthday sash, and was beyond excited as we walked over from Great Wolf Lodge. We were seated fairly quickly, as the restaurant was not very crowded, though there were a few larger parties. Directly across from us was a long table celebrating another young child's birthday. Shortly after we were seated, that family ordered the large sundae. Multiple staff members came out, music played throughout the restaurant, and there was a large light-up "Happy Birthday" sign. It was very over-the-top, and honestly, it was impressive. I was excited knowing my daughter would likely get the same experience. Because we were not planning to order the giant sundae, I stepped away from the table and spoke directly to the hostess. I explained it was my daughter's birthday, that I had indicated this when making the reservation, and asked if she would still receive the same birthday experience if we ordered a different dessert. I was clearly told that if we ordered any dessert (even if not the sundae), she would get the full birthday experience. Only if we skipped dessert entirely would it be just a scoop of ice cream with a single candle. We ordered dessert, a chocolate cake and a milkshake. When dessert came out, two waiters brought it over with a single candle, sang a quick "Happy Birthday," and immediately walked away. No music. No sign. No announcement. No celebration. Nothing that made my daughter feel special. It was extremely underwhelming, especially after what we were explicitly told and after watching multiple other birthday tables (including the one right across from us and a group of girls nearby) receive the full experience with music, lights, and multiple staff members. Beyond that, the food itself was very disappointing. My daughter, who was dressed head-to-toe in pink, was so excited to order the Pink Princess sliders. When they arrived, they were completely tan. She kept saying, "Mom, these aren't pink." To make matters worse, the table next to us ordered the rainbow sliders, which looked exactly like the photo. If you have a child excited about the pink burger, be warned, it does not look anything like the menu image. We left feeling like we paid a lot of money purely for the location and name. The food was lackluster, the service was poor, and the biggest disappointment was that my daughter's birthday was completely overlooked. This is not something our family gets to do often. We saved for months for this trip and this dinner, and for it to turn out this way was incredibly sad and frustrating. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and not one I would recommend for a special occasion.

We stopped here for dinner while staying at great Wolf Lodge across the street. We tried to call and the lady said there wasn't a wait so we went down, but we still waited about a half hour to even get in. After that, when we finally got in, it was better. The atmosphere there was so pretty and fun for kids. They have colorful menu items and it's a nice environment. They sang to people nearby whose birthday it was and the lights flashed on and off. As for the food, we loved what we got. I got a burger which was juicy and flavorful. The sauce they added was great. Tasteful blend. The penne Alfredo was also good. Not overly creamy, and the chicken in it was cooked perfect. Drinks were good as well.

Went here on Christmas so it was a bit packed and we didn't have a reservation. I got the fish n chips and the batter was really gooey still and our food did take a long time to get here. Also the waiter didn't come until 15 minutes after we sat down. I also got the french onion soup and it lacked flavor and tasted watered down. The place itself was cute and prices were expensive but theres worse out there. Theres a wing stop next door.

Surprisingly delish!! I wasn't expecting much from the food since I thought it was more for the ambiance but I was wrong. My app and entree were yummy. Streak frites had lots of flavor (ribeye), the fries was soggy. If the fries were crunchy, it would have been 10/10!! Our server was prompt and professional. While dining, there were 3 birthdays celebrations going on so expect loud and lively music to be played. It was a fun experience!

We loved our experience! The place is so photogenic from the atmosphere to the food and drinks themselves! The decor is awesome and great news the food is actually really good too! The rainbow sliders didn't taste funny from the color and the rainbow pancakes were to die for! We ordered from the seasonal menu and had the Smokey skull drink to share and it was so so yummy! We also had the seasonal vanilla shake and cookies and cream shake and truly it was just so delicious. We also ordered a Frankenstein burger and a sugar factory club sandwich and both were savory and yummy! The service was friendly and fast. We came back twice in two days it was so good and fun for the whole family :)

We went during Christmas break and the whole place was decked out in holiday decorations. The food was pretty good and the service was great! My kids got the Christmas themed sliders and grilled cheese and the adults all got steak and fries! The Mac and cheese balls were phenomenal!

As always there was a wait to get a table. This is particularly strange because sure there is always half of the restaurant is always empty. The wait was about 20 minutes around 4 pm on a Sunday. Once seated the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out in a timely manner and the menu was huge! Although they focus a lot of the menu on drinks and desert, the food options they have are tasty and offer something for everyone. We had a chance in our schedule and had to end our meal early. The server was accommodating and quick in getting us out and everything wrapped up. We've always had a good experience after the ridiculous wait to get in. Plenty of opportunities for photos. Lots of mirrors, light up signs and photo opportunistic spots with cute chairs and back drops. If you're at Foxwoods, make a reservation. It is a fun atmosphere, fun foods, and delicious deserts!

Went with a large group. I got a decent meal with the steak, salad and rolls for $20 but that seemed to be the only reasonably priced thing on the menu. Some of our other parties meals were a bit over the top and the service was lacking. Was also hoping (and willing to pay the likely high price) to buy a t shirt for my son at the store but they had next to nothing stocked, who's surprised.

Do they sing for a birthday? What do they charge for add ons? Just 3 of us so don't need a whole package

They do sing, not sure on add-on pricing but things are pretty pricey here

Does anyone know if they take walk-ins?

They do but if it's the weekend, it's really busy and you may have to sit at the bar. We were lucky and got a table after waiting 10 minutes.

Do you get to keep the cup thats 36$ orrr?

If you order a goblet you can purchase the cup for $10

While small, this place really packs a punch with it's charm and variety of offerings. The staff tries to great everyone who comes in and the decor is very colorful/whimsical featuring a chandelier that looks like it's made of different colors of rock candy and chocolate sculptures. There seems to be a few different sections...Jelly Belly, M&Ms, retro candy, seasonal stuff, jewelry, gummies, pillows (some scented!), stationary, bacon themed stuff (wha?), loose individually wrapped candy you can buy by the pound (reasonable at $7.95 and since it's wrapped you can put some back if you think you are spending too much), and a bakery case that holds really fancy cupcakes and Cronuts (croissant donuts). For being in the casino the prices are really reasonable on most things and downright cheap on other things (you can get a lolly pop for 25 cents or a huge pixy stick for 75 cents). The things that run a premium on price seems to be the jewelry, a few of the stuffed animals, and the cupcakes/cronuts. That said they offer discounts for veterans, tribal members, and certain players cards (King, Ace, Royal) and take players points. I got a seasonal set of jelly bellys that had eggnog and candy cane flavors that were great and a selection of cupcakes and cronuts to try with my friends. If you want to splurge I TOTALLY recommend a pumpkin spice cronut (although Cinnamon Sugar and Maple Pecan were awesome too). SOOO GOOD...while I didn't get a ton of pumpkin flavor, I got that melt on your tongue nutmeggy cinnamon sweetness that was just amazing. The Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel, and S'more cupcakes were REALLY good too. Very rich though.. glass of milk or coffee is definitely a must nearby. There is a lot of icing/filling to cake ratio (which I enjoy) and they are very pretty so I definitely feel like I'm getting a special treat for the price. Overall I say take a quick cruise through to see if they have anything to interest you (or samples they do from time to time) and then you'll know where to go to get a fairly decent priced sweet treat to sit with you at your table/slot machine/during a show/or after dinner.

There's something about seeing the cooks working the line that adds another layer to the experience. It feels lively, energetic, and authentic. We started with a variety of appetizers because, honestly, everything on the menu sounded amazing. First came the bread service with two olive oils. The bread was light and airy, with just enough chew, and it soaked up the oil and sauce like it knew exactly what its job was. Next up were the meatballs, served in a rich tomato sauce with ricotta and shaved Parmigiano. The meatballs had a unique flavor thanks to the sausage mixed into the blend. They were tender, savory, and deeply satisfying. The sauce was chunky and well-balanced, just the right touch of sweetness without tipping into acidity. We also ordered the arancini, which came crisp on the outside and packed with umami flavor, helped along by the truffle sauce. One bite and you understand why these little rice bombs are such a classic. And then there was the cheese board, a nice variety that gave everyone something different to pick at between bites of everything else. For my main course, I went with the Pork Chop Giambotta. The pork chop was grilled beautifully, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was topped with a giambotta, a rustic Italian stew of vegetables that included fingerling potatoes, sausage, hot cherry peppers, vinegar, garlic, and onions. This dish hit every note on the palate, sweet, savory, tangy, and just enough heat to keep things interesting. One of those plates where every forkful gives you a slightly different combination of flavors. It was a great meal, made even better by sharing it with family. And the service deserves a mention as well. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, the kind of hospitality that makes the whole evening feel effortless. A great night all around.
