Baked beans and fried okra were ok. Tons of end pieces of Okra and only about half the batter stayed on it when it was cooked. Son and husband liked the Mac and cheese but son only ate one of his two chicken strips. Husband liked his brisket and Signature BBQ sauce. It felt a little greasy in there but it appeared clean and when I wiped down the chair and table with Wet Ones with my germaphobe daughter, it came back pretty clean. Stopped by here early for a bite to eat while on our way from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale. They had a limited menu due to the early hour. We got 3 sausage dogs our own way. One with just mustard, one with mustard and relish, and one with mustard and onions. We also got a small order of fries, which are crinkle-cut and seasoned. The dogs were delicious, juicy on the inside, with a nice snap on the outside. This is a good place to stop by on the road when you're sick of the usual fast food or diner stuff. I stopped in here as I was driving south from Atlanta to Sarasota, and I wanted to try a local BBQ place. This place had good reviews, and the town was small, so I thought I would give it a go. I ordered the brisket and the pork butt combo meal with okra and slaw. The cost came to around $14. The good thing was that they did not skimp on the portion size, but the meat was truly awful. It was the worst brisket I have had in my life. Most of the meat was all fat. The pork also had a lot of fat on it. Neither of the meats were tender and both lacked flavour. Overall this was a huge disappointment. I eat BBQ a lot and I try and support smaller local stores, but I don't think I'll be going back again. When one is driving from Chicago to Miami, the biggest bright spots are the food stops. I may have researched food options for where I thought I'd be in the road trip when lunch called; however, as a result of a later-than-anticipated breakfast stop, I was flying blind. Enter my frantic yelp search for good BBQ and the appearance of Keith-a-Que. Keith-a-Que is set in downtown Ashburn and is an easy jaunt from the highway if you're just passing through. When you pull up, take a minute and check out the mural on the adjacent building -- it's definitely worth a look. The service was friendly and quick. We had a fairly lengthy talk with a gent who I can only imagine was Keith. The wash rooms were REALLY nice (huge bonus when on a road trip). The pulled pork was really, really good. They even have a smaller 99 cent version for the smaller appetites in your car. Now go forth and enjoy! read more

Amazingly juicy and tender BBQ at a very fair price!! We stopped by on a road trip and are very glad we gave this place a try! Firstly, I can honestly say the Brisket was some of the best I've ever had; it was extremely juicy and perfectly tender. Too many places dry out their brisket but Keith-A-Que hit it on the nose with this one! The Boston Butt was just as juicy and tender as the Brisket and it was impeccably delicious with a perfectly smoked flavor. They even got the Smoked Chicken correct in keeping it juicy inside with a crunchy exterior that melts in your mouth! We failed to try a couple sides but the ones we had were delicious! If you're thinking about sweet potatoes go for the Fried Sweet Potato Pattie, it's delicious. The Mac-N-Cheese and French Fries were respectable as well. All in all it was a great experience! The people are friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is unreal! If you're driving down I-75 and you're getting hungry it's worth the wait to hold your hunger until you get to Keith-A-Que! With family driving from st. louis to Orlando. My son and I are huge BBQ fans, to the point I have even been involved in judging BBQ contests. Keith-A-Que was very good stop on the road. I had the pulled pork sandwich and would have liked more sauce. Son had ribs (dry rub). Meat was excellent and full of flavor. Only had two types of sauce, both good, but he is more of a sweet and spicy style. Wife had the chicken and it was fall off the bone delicious. Do not come here for a good burger or chicken fingers. Burger was cold and hard pattie...Burger King would have been better and that says a lot. Old grease is never a good combination for fried chicken. Very disappointing after seeing so many stars!!!! Not today. read more

The brisket was perfect! It was juicy, sliced well (tender) and had a perfect crust. The beans and potato salad were excellent compliments to it! The pulled pork was kind of awkward bc it was a large hunk, but a very generous portion. I live about an hour from this place but would consider making the drive for this place. We were driving through from Orlando back to Chicago and stopped in. It was my husband and I and two of our boys. The customer service here is top notch!!!! I have never been treated so nice at a restaurant. I got the Boston Butt and my husband got the Fried Pork chops. Both were AMAZING!!! My son's got the ribs to split, they we're also great!!! My very picky 8 year old wasn't eating the ribs and the owner came by and asked if everything was ok. He noticed my son not eating and asked what else he wanted...anything...my son said grilled cheese...lol of course not on the menu. The owner smiled and said of course!!!! Stopped by this place on the way down to Florida from Chicago. My dad wanted a "sloppy" "hometown" joint and that's exactly what we found. The owner is very warm and friendly, helped us select our meal right away. This place has a lot of hometown flavor, check out their visitors map when you walk in. We got two full racks of ribs, a pint of Mac n cheese, and a pint of mashed potatoes. While I might not be a BBQ expert, the ribs were fabulous. The two sauces, honey mustard BBQ and an original, were absolutely amazing. I regret not buying some for the road. The Mac and cheese wasn't that great but the mashed potatoes made up for it. My husband and I were heading to Nashville from Florida and decided to stop at your restaurant. It was absolutely delicious! We both had the Pulled Boston Butt. I had the coleslaw and baked beans as sides. My husband loved the sweet mustard bbq sauce so much that he purchased a bottle to take home. My only request is that the two bbq sauces were a bit too spicy for my taste; it would be great if you could offer a standard bbq sauce which isn't so spicy on your menu as well. Driving through South Georgia, my son & I had a desire for BBQ. We found this place on Yelp. Even with mixed reviews, we thought we'd give it a whirl. As we approached Keith-A-Que, located on the main drag of a little town, I got an eery feeling. But then, tiny towns freak me out anyway so I just pushed down the urge to haul ass outta there. We attempted the drive-thru speaker but nobody answered, so, instead of high-tailing it down the highway to the next BBQ town, we parked and went in. We ordered it "to go" (I've seen films where they make BBQ out of people - and there was something about this place. I was totally getting a vibe.) Anyway, my son & I each ordered the SuperQ sandwich. I did a side of fried okra, he mac-n-cheese. My wife ordered the chicken salad sandwich and a side of onion rings. SuperQ: good ChickenSalad: bland, needed some spice or at least salt & pepper Onion Rings: really good Fried Okra: good All in all, the food was good, but not great. I hate to say it, but, I agree with the folks that said this place wasn't good. Just read my earlier posts about places in Virginia and Hardeeville, South Carolina for better barbecue. The brisket was what I chose, even though people warned me against it and it was hard and burnt and chewy, not at all enjoyable. Mac and cheese and green beans were just average. And, my mother said sweet potatoe patties weren't good at all. However, we did like the ribs and the sauce to put over it, if you are interested. Overall, this is probably a local favorite, but not for out of towners who like good barbecue. read more

Outstanding BBQ. The Pork and Ribs were out of this world !! Highly recommended. We were in town for a business trip. Called Keith at 5pm and crazily asked for BBQ, sides, desert and tea for 40 people. Crazy huh !! Spoke with Keith and he said "NoProblem, I got you".
