I've utilized his services back in 2024 he fixed my alternator I initially gave him a good review because he did good on my alternator at the time.. So last year in 2025 I needed a control arm and tire rod fixed and a few other things. I looked him up again because he did so good on my truck the 1st time I wanted to utilize his services again. Long story short no services was performed and my money was stolen and he was a no call no show. The only way I could get through to him was to leave a negative review on Google. The response back was lies stating my email was incorrect when my email never change at all still until this day his automated whatever you want to call it still sends me notifications to the same email he claims was incorrect. It sadden me when you try to trust someone and give them money to fix something and utilize their services but they in turn show unprofessionalism and dishonesty and steal your money I can't support a business like that. I have more receipts if need be. I have talked with my lawyers and they will handle the situation at hand.

He has always been very reasonable with pricing (I'm certain he is among the lowest there is) and his advice and outcomes have always been good. He handles inspections and the basic, simple things like oil changes, regular maintenance, etc. up to and including the more complex such as engine and transmission replacements, for example. My daughter was once told by another garage that she had engine bearing problems on her small Hyundai when it had only 70,000 miles or so on it, and that she would need an engine replacement. She took it to Tom to see about engine replacement cost, and Tom listened and quickly said that he didn't think it sounded like bearings. He checked and found oil level was a bit low so he added some and the noise got quiet. He kept it overnight to check again when cold, then proclaimed that she simply needed an oil change and to make sure to keep oil level at the full mark. That was several years ago, and her car now has 10's of thousands of more miles on it and it continues to run great. That is just one example of Tom's approach. He can be trusted and you won't be taken!

Talked to another person about getting my car, instead of saying hi can I help you, he said " NO CHECKS ". Had no idea so I paid with a credit card only to find out that there is an addition 3% charge on top of it. I had diagnostics done at 2 different places prior. The car was running fine when it was dropped off. I start the car and discover that the engine is running rough, and the check engine light is still ON! Was told that the problem was an ignition coil was bad. I didn't get more than a few blocks from the shop and a pry bar extension fell out from under the car! Now I have to spend more to fix the issue. Would not recommend to anyone I know. Highly Disappointed!!!

Charlton messaged me back within 15 minutes. I explained that my throttle dashboard light came on, and Charlton said I might need the $70.00 diagnostic test to turn it off and determine the throttle problem. Charlton also asked me about the size of my engine. I scheduled an appointment and canceled it because the throttle light went out. Perhaps it was the below-freezing temperature and my attempt to drive my vehicle without sufficiently warming it up that prompted the throttle light to come on, I will definitely contact C & A when my vehicle does need servicing. I appreciated the messaging that helped me determine what my vehicle needed. What's valuable? The excellent customer service in fielding my throttle concerns is worth noting.
