it started with them, not sending me a shipping update. I spoke with Jacki and told her I no longer needed the part because I wouldn't receive it in time. She gave me attitude and told me well. You can send it back when you get it you'll have to pay for shipping and there's a 20% restocking fee and you don't get reimbursed for the original shipping. So I would've gotten two dollars back out of $22 lol needless to say Saturday rolls around when she told me it would be there and it never came then Monday comes around and I receive an empty package in the by the no contents inside then I call back to and this guy calls me and tells me we're sending you a new one and I said I didn't want a new one. I wanted a refund and he said well too bad. Do not deal with these people they are scumbags. read more

i just want to say the customer support these guys have is definitely unmatched i had emailed them to get turbo and intercooler setup for my 2013 wrx hatchback they emailed me not even an hour later.. i talked to DEWEY and he was amazing i asked 10000 questions and he had the answer he got me set up with a blouch 1.5xtr turbo and a process west verticooler. his customer service was amazing and i can't say it anymore how much he really helped me get all the parts i wanted. i just want to say thanks dewey and the whole IAG team my experience with them so far has been great 10/10 will definitely be coming back for any parts i need/want in the future! read more

Bought a grille for my bronco, the "vintage" style white one. I had some issues with it actually. But after a contact with some folks over there, they sent me a new one. I'm pretty sure the guy that got some engagement for me owned the place. I'm not even sure if the issue i had is "their" issue, my suspicion is that they contract out the manufacturing of this particular product. As a resident in the VA/MD area IAG always came up as the preferred shop to go to when I got my Subaru. As a current owner of a Mazdaspeed3 I know of the many issues that can come up when modifying a 4cyl turbo car; that being said when I get the WRX I told myself that i'd get everything done professionally (as opposed to my speed3 which i did all the work on). So, naturally I chose to go up to IAG. In the VA/MD area there are several good Subaru Shops, GnG in Richmond, Va and MachV in NoVa but IAG not only has the reputation of being the best but have also proven to be. A few months after getting the car the clutch started to slip, I quickly gave IAG a call to price out a new clutch. Well, John has been nothing but helpful through every part of it. I went with an ACT sprung 6-puck (maybe a little over-kill but i have the same on the speed3 and like it) and a new OEM flywheel per his recommendation. Now... they were able to get me in a few days from my initial call, and once i dropped off my car, they finished the job in about a day which was... as Jimmy Johns would say, FREAKY FAST! John also had the techs replace a few parts that needed repair/replacement which was great. The car and new clutch were great. Sadly, I didn't know I was going to be hit by the dreaded bearing failure the EJs have. A couple weeks later, and a few performance parts added w/e-tune (not cobb ots) later, the car ended up getting rod knock. The car was fresh from an oil change (~300 miles since i had changed it) and oil level was checked hours prior, but alas an EJ will be an EJ. So, this led to Call #2 to IAG. John again has been more than helpful in helping me with this new rebuild w/ a budget. We talked overall goals with the wrx and since this will be my Daily AND it's a 5 speed (Glass transmission), not much 'power' can really be put down without considering a 6spd swap, which at that point buying an STI would be smarter. So I've gone with a stage 1 since it'll be enough to support some of the modding i want to do and still be better than straight OEM. Currently still going through the build process but i've been able to get constant contact with IAG whenever I email with questions. I'll update the review once the car is back! read more

Really nice and helpful people until they realize you may not be going to their recommended shops. Then they get a little touchy and are not nearly as nice and in fact become very short. I am guessing there is some commission or affiliate money involved here in their recommendations for shops to visit based on that. A good performance shop won't carte if you don't take their exact recommendation for where to get work done, they just want you to get the right shop in the end even if it is another one. That is not the case here at all. Be careful because if that is the case you likely will not be getting the best service. read more

I have a very good and positive experience with IAG Performance. Rick, the owner JJ, and the rest of the team, has treated me with utmost respect, dignity and they took care of me from the moment I took delivery of the my Stage 2 Tuff EJ257 short block. I am a customer in California. Now onto my build. Unfortunately, it failed. Soon after the break-in period and tuning was completed, smoke started creeping up from under the hood and from the oil filler neck. I performed a compression/leak down tests multiple times. Results were consistent with cylinder #4 having low compression with a leakdown of 15%. As any owner who have spent significant time/money resource on a car, my heart sank. After spending thousands of dollars into a build, it all went to drain with this result. I reached out to IAG Performance for a warranty claim. I had the pleasure of working with Rick. A lot has happened in the last year since the beginning of this build. So this will be a summary of the chains of events. During this entire warranty process, I was treated as a customer. Not once did I ever felt I was a burden; nor did I ever felt I'm a customer that needed to go away. Rick has been patient with every step of the way from having the short block shipped back and forth for inspections a couple of times, rebuild, etc. Everything that needed to be done to ensure that I was satisfied as a customer was performed. From their intensive inspections of the motor, clear evidence of heat related issues has occurred. The motor was running lean due to a massive vacuum leak that caused premature damage. No known workmanship related issue was found. If this was by any other company, this information would have warranted a "denial of warranty". But IAG Performance is NOT just any other company! Despite having found no known workmanship issues on the motor. All the work required to refresh the motor was performed and completed under warranty. They provided all of the services in good faith. The motor was refreshed with a new bore size up from 99.75, new pistons, new rods, new bearings, block is cleaned, assembled, packaged and shipped back to CA. I am truly grateful for an excellent customer service IAG Performance have provided me. I am now awaiting delivery of my motor to be dropped in and begin the break-in and tuning process. I can't thank enough JJ, Rick and the rest of IAG Performance team. I am truly grateful for everything that you have done for me. Cheers to a long and continued success. I went back to IAG on November 23rd, 2016 for a dyno session. Never had a car protuned before so I asked a lot of questions and they kindly answered all of them. There was a bit of a delay because the car ahead of me needed repairs during their session. JR Tuned took care of my car and squeezed 290whp/293lb-ft with just an intake and turboback. So far so good! My DAM hasn't dipped from 1.000 even at WOT. Looks to be like a solid tune! read more

I recently ordered an air-oil-separator for my 2014 WRX from IAG performance. It arrived in a timely manner, considering I am on the other side of the country. All of the necessary components needed for install were included in the box. Got it installed at a reputable performance shop, and they informed me that the pcv adapter might make a slight clicking/chattering noise. They said it won't affect performance, but if I contacted IAG, they make a pcv relocation kit that will take care of the noise. Sure enough, by the end of the same day of contacting them, they confirmed that they would send one out at no charge. Great product and great customer service! And, their product is the primary one that Cobb Tuning Socal recommends. That says something! read more

Blames customers for damage to RMA products. When part has to be modified for fitment and then part fails due to poor quality then refuse RMA. Also blames customers for poor install of product! Just dont buy IAG Performance products I own a 2.5 block and wish I would have went with different vendor. I wont do anymore business with IAG performance and Hope u will boycott them too! read more

I went to IAG to get some minor body work done (dents/dings, and replacing front bumper). Shorty, the manager of the collision department was extremely helpful. I was able to simply send pictures to him of what sorts of things I would like to get done and he was more than willing to go off of that to send me a quote. Getting the quote took a bit longer than I had expected, because they were getting slammed at the time. None the less, Shorty was extremely helpful in literally laying out EXACTLY what he was going to do, and EXACTLY what needs to be done and potentially needs to be done. He spent literally a good 30 minutes on the phone with me, laying out best case scenario, probable case scenario, and worst case scenario in terms of pricing (because of additional work that may need to be done) to the most excruciating detail. Other shops tend over promise with short timeline but end up taking a lot longer. Before bringing my car in, he said it can be in and out within a week. My car started its work on a Monday and ended up being done on a Friday. They were also extremely accommodating to my random needs. Living and working far away, dropping or picking up my car on a weekday wasnt possible. I ended up dropping off my car on a Saturday and someone at the IAG performance shop was able to open the gate and let my car in for security. When I went to pick it up, Shorty PERSONALLY came on his day off to walk me through the work he had done. In the end, the body work came out great. Shorty knew I was on a budget and was extremely accommodating to make it work. Price-wise for the amount of things that got done on my car probably was a tad bit more expensive (id estimate ~10%). Despite that, the amount of work he put in and the customer service, I would go back. Only negative I can see about IAG collision department is Shorty's voicemail box is full. Calling them can prove to be a bit challenging. However, email has proved to work most of the time. Anytime I dropped him an email, I would usually receive a follow up phone call that night. read more

Wow talk about customer service! This place is A1. Everyone on the phone is happy, friendly and willing to help. I had ordered taillight overlays for a WRX and once I realized it had been a few days since I got them, I tracked the package and saw that it was "delivered" to my step 4 days ago. There was no package there at all. It was most likely USPS fault considering from personal experience they have a track record of doing this, however they were absolutely no help to me and told me to call the company I purchased the item from. I called IAG and spoke to Keith. He was very apologetic and didn't make me feel like it was a bother to him at all. He assured me he would do all he could and he certainly did! He set me up with a whole new order for the same item- free of charge. Most companies would either say you're SOL or make you pay twice. I will definitely be using IAG for future purchases. They have just gained a very satisfied customer. read more
