He then said that they would not fit me in on Sunday or Monday and that he was "Wide open Tuesday" and I scheduled for then. I had a change in my plans for Tuesday so I called to cancel like any normal human being and guess what! I wasn't even scheduled for Tuesday! DO NOT come to this location. They stuck me with the injectors and charged me $1300.00 for a job they did not fix.

In May 2022, Brad Bennett installed Denso iridium spark plugs into my Subaru Forrester. Denso does…read morenot even manufacture the spark plugs for my make and model. The specific spark plugs that are spec for my car are Silzkar7b11 (Ngk). He also did not ask me beforehand nor tell me afterwards that he had installed the wrong part. In November my catalytic converter began to fail. The car being less than 8 years old and under 80,000 miles, it should have been under federally mandated warranty. However, the dealership informed me that because the incorrect spark plugs had been installed, that warranty was void. I reached out to Brad to inform him of this. He assured me that it was not the spark plugs, but due to excessive oil consumption. Over the next several months, he wasted countless hours of my time with his schemes to shirk responsibility for his mistake. When finally it became obvious these wouldn't work, he simply ignored me. I spoke with the southern stables receptionist no fewer than ten times trying to get ahold of Brad over the course of many weeks, and he never got the courage up to call me personally back and take responsibility for his actions. I ended up having to pay for the converter myself out of pocket. This is the kind of service you can expect at southern stables: ALL shine, NO SUBSTANCE! I'm sure Brad will have some windy reply to this, and I'm sure it will be more promptly returned than my phone calls, but this is the last bit of time or energy I will spend on southern stables.

RIDICULOUS NIGHTMARE Took my 59 Cadillac on the…read morerecommendation of a different garage Promised to have car done in 1-2 days WORK REQUESTED TO BE DONE: 1) Oil change, filter & Lube 2) Check rattle underneath car 3) Add Freon for Air Conditioning 4) Check all fluid levels 5) Check fuel gauge 6) General review (car is like new inside, outside and under) $120.00 7) Polish car RECEIVED A seven page invoice for the amount of $6530.88. I expected invoice to be in the hundreds. They had my car for (58) DAYS, (36) HOURS BILLED, 1/2 TANK OF GAS Their reason (EXCUSE) for the $ 6530.88 invoice and the (58) days was they had 40 cars and few mechanics and many expenses and their mechanics needed a wage increase. I feel as though they wanted my car and hoped I wouldn't pay this ridiculous bill. The mechanic accidentally shorted out my regulator and generator then they billed me $1141.00 to replace and reinstall. I was invoiced on (4) different occasions for the fuel gauge, totaling $ 990.00. I was invoiced for a master cylinder replacement when it was not needed or requested as his mechanic confirmed, that cost $ 168.00. I was invoiced for parts and labor for the Air conditioning, Freon and hose for a total of $720.00 which was not authorized as they were told NOT TO WORK ANY FURTHER ON IT. They were told only to add Freon and do a pressure check. The air is still hot! There were thousands of dollars of items, labor, etc that I was invoiced for that was NOT AUTHORIZED and I did not request. FINAL RESULTS The rattle under my car is gone. The oil was changed. The fluids were all checked. The car was polished The Air conditioning is still HOT The car now pulls HARD to the right which is a new problem since they messed with the brakes. The fuel gauge is still bad They disconnected the air hose and left it. NO WARRANTY CAR PICK UP 1) I was threatened, by the owner Greg, in a loud, nasty voice to PAY BILL OR HE WILL HAVE HIS MECHANIC STRIP CAR! 2) PAY BILL WIITHIN (30) DAYS OR THEY WILL SELL THE CAR! I explained that my throttle dashboard light came on, and Charlton said I might need the $70.00 diagnostic test to turn it off and determine the throttle problem. Charlton also asked me about the size of my engine. I scheduled an appointment and canceled it because the throttle light went out. Perhaps it was the below-freezing temperature and my attempt to drive my vehicle without sufficiently warming it up that prompted the throttle light to come on, I will definitely contact C & A when my vehicle does need servicing. I appreciated the messaging that helped me determine what my vehicle needed. What's valuable? The excellent customer service in fielding my throttle concerns is worth noting.
