It needed paint work to be done as we are trying to keep the Jeep in as nice a condition as possible. Was not given a firm date for this work and now it's getting close to the end of February and I checked back and today was told he's backed up. He may be backed up but with vehicles that weren't there before ours. Mike tells me if I'm in a hurry I should go to another body shop. We've done business here a few times before and I find it hard to believe that he tells me such crap after waiting F I V E M O N T H S for him and putting collision jobs ahead of our Jeep. This is a business man who needs to retire as he's lost his business acumen..!

They sent me pictures of some of their "findings" and communicated above and beyond. In addition to quality of care, they were quick. I was expected to get my car back on Friday at the end of the day and got a call on Thursday afternoon that they were able to get it up on the lift and serviced sooner than expected. The mechanics work extremely hard and late hours. When I drove by at 10pm that evening, there were still mechanics working long past hours to make sure that they didn't fall behind schedule and have people waiting forever on their cars. I highly recommend this place for any auto repair or service. They truly do care about their customers.

He fixed it up before in 2 days when other places bounced me around for a month, and is very fair with pricing and has never tried to upsell beyond what was necessary. One time we thought it was a big problem that would've been hundreds, he figured out it was just something loose, tightened it and didn't even charge anything. Something similar this time. A different shop told me my brakes were kaput and we figured out they were fine, it was something very minor. He could've easily just changed them anyway for profit but instead took the time to explain that they were fine and the other place was full of it. Rotating the tires and fixing the psi fixed the issue. He's very down to earth and honest when something is fine vs needing work. I'll only ever be coming here when I need work, and would recommend to anyone. If you see this, thank you so much!

The specific spark plugs that are spec for my car are Silzkar7b11 (Ngk). He also did not ask me beforehand nor tell me afterwards that he had installed the wrong part. In November my catalytic converter began to fail. The car being less than 8 years old and under 80,000 miles, it should have been under federally mandated warranty. However, the dealership informed me that because the incorrect spark plugs had been installed, that warranty was void. I reached out to Brad to inform him of this. He assured me that it was not the spark plugs, but due to excessive oil consumption. Over the next several months, he wasted countless hours of my time with his schemes to shirk responsibility for his mistake. When finally it became obvious these wouldn't work, he simply ignored me. I spoke with the southern stables receptionist no fewer than ten times trying to get ahold of Brad over the course of many weeks, and he never got the courage up to call me personally back and take responsibility for his actions. I ended up having to pay for the converter myself out of pocket. This is the kind of service you can expect at southern stables: ALL shine, NO SUBSTANCE! I'm sure Brad will have some windy reply to this, and I'm sure it will be more promptly returned than my phone calls, but this is the last bit of time or energy I will spend on southern stables.
