It was recommended to me to go to Hobby Lobby for the repair of some of my picture frames and I…read morecouldn't find another frame business to do the repair in the Surprise area. Heather in the framing department was excellent. She was knowledgable, efficient, incredibly responsive and helpful. It's just that the front of the store checkout process to pay for my two items was incredibly slow. The lines were very long with 50% off Christmas items being very popular. If they are discounting now, I wondered how much they must markup their inventory. My recommendation is for this store to invest in new computerized registers. The clerks had to enter each line item by inventory number. They need scanners. Also, when the lines are that long, provide one line with 10 items or less. The customers ahead of me had about 30 items in their cart-$700 worth. I had two. It took 25 minutes to check out and pay for my frame repairs I must admit the nice clerk apologized for how long it took and told me to have a blessed day. I was cranky and her attitude did help. Moving forward, I will avoid this store.

My wife and I pass by this place everytime we are on our way out of town to Las Vegas or Laughlin…read more Every time we always say "We have to stop there". Well this time we did and glad we did. They have a lot of merchandise, yes its a little pricey for what they get either at wholesale or from over the border, but it is a business and you are paying for the convenience of having it one location to shop for it. I love the Mexican style decor in this place. Lots to choose from. The customer service was Eghh when we first walked inside, but they nicely got friendlier at the end when we were paying. My only suggestion, the young guys wrapping ceramics with paper then placing in bag. You have to make sure fragile sides of a piece (i.e cats leg/paw stretched out) stays secure and should be upright in a bag and not long ways across, if you pack that way, then when the bag is picked up and handed to the customer the sides will be bent upward and snap a piece. Luckily, it was easily glued. So moral of the story customers, watch how the youngins pack your stuff and how they pick up the bags to hand to you. Don't do what I did and just assume it was logically packed.
