The staff was friendly and I like the subscription pricing. That earned them the second star. Unfortunately, I received two haircuts from two different stylists and now I'll be spending the next couple months waiting for my hair to come back. The first stylist buzzed way too high on the back of the head leaving things looking funny from behind. Two weeks later I went in and stated I was just there to get cleaned up a little. We were all finished up when the second stylist decided to buzz off my entire part out of the blue. If you're looking for a military style cut, this place is probably perfect for you. DO NOT SCHEDULE A HAIRCUT WITH KENDRA. I had a haircut scheduled for 9am this morning. On my way down the 60, I came across an unforeseen road closure that seemed to have just popped up. My phone rerouted me on a few side streets to make it to the location but, I ended up parking my car at 9:05 am. When I walked into the store, I met Kendra. She asked if I had an appointment and when she realized that I was her 9am, she scoffed at me and told me that she wouldn't cut me hair because I was "super late" and would "push back all her other clients for the whole day". I wash shocked considering that I was only a few minutes late and have waited 5 or even 10 minutes before for a Keep It Cut haircut despite having an appointment. Another hair stylist stepped in and offered to fit me in at 10:10 but unfortunately I wasn't able to stay around for that haircut since I needed to get to my Dad's place before 10. As I walked to my car and got in it, I saw Kendra leave the salon and head over near the area in the complex where there are restaurants and a gas station. To me, it looks like she cares more about getting a morning snack at the gas station rather than cutting hair. To make matters worse, when I got to my Dad's and told him about the bizarre situation that had just happened, he told me that he has indeed had his hair cut by Kendra before where she was rude to him too. We are both Keep It Cut members and I have been going to various locations since I moved to Arizona. I have never had a worse experience at a Keep It Cut than I had this morning with Kendra and I am considering canceling my membership. read more

I tried out this place because a friend told me it was cheaper than my usual place, so I decided to give it a shot. I made an appointment and was seated in a chair pretty quickly but that's where all the problems started. Multiple people kept walking in to make appointments and my stylist had to stop cutting my hair and helped every single one of them. I think at least 6 people came in to make appointments. My haircut was prolonged by at least 15-20 minutes and it was extremely hot in their store. I also had scheduled a shampoo online but as soon as she was done cutting she told me I was done and apparently didn't have time for the shampoo. My stylist kept telling me over and over and over how understaffed they were. Overall, a very poor experience, mediocre haircut, and would not go back. read more

I come here regularly now and get a pretty decent haircut each time. The employees are friendly, talkative, and have always taken their time to make sure I get a haircut I like. Only go to this place if you check in online. If you check in at the location it does reserved you a spot. That means if someone checks in online they can take a spot that you otherwise would have had. For instance. Got here at 10:39. Didn't get a 10:40 spot which is reasonable and expected. But all the spots for the next slot were available online at 11:00 so I figured I would get one of those. That's not how it works. If you don't checkin online and just check in at the place you will be skipped until no one takes a spot online. Pretty infuriating because why bother allowing you to checkin at the store if you don't get the next available spot! Wasted about an hour for no reason Do yourself a favor and check in online NEVER at the site itself. Save yourself a wasted Sunday. It's 11:30 still haven't received a haircut. read more

I've had a few different barbers due to my ever work changing schedule. Chris in the Tempe location has consistently delivered. He takes his time and gives me the cut I ask for every time. I'd like to further endorse him by mentioning that after a TERRIBLE haircut at another location(again due to my schedule), he not only fixed it but made it better than what I originally wanted.
