Great spot for a cut! Stopped by today and received a great hair cut from Sydney. While I am pretty nonchalant about what I get done, it looks great. Also it was super fast. I was able to setup my appointment, was then brought in from my car (to avoid a waiting area) and everyone was masked up. I highly recommend stopping by for your next haircut. read more

Since my original review, I have remained a client with Keep it Cut. The only major change with the business was a $2 rate increase due to rising labor costs. To be frank, the Rural and Baseline location has some serious turnover. Only a few stylists still work here since I joined almost 2 years ago. This turnover makes it hard to consistently get a haircut by the same person over time. Shout out to the stylists who consistently deliver excellent customer service and great haircuts; Felicia, Daisy, and Sydney. read more

Found them on google and got hooked on the monthly membership for unlimited cuts, washes and grooming. If you want to always look groomed and freshly cut, this is the place for you However, the reason for my 5 Star rating is Arthur. The man is an artist and a prefectionist! It took me over three years to find a stylist of his caliber. He cares about the styling that you want and takes the time to make sure the cut is perfect. I am glad I found Keep it Cut! read more

05/28/2017: Two stars cause they're nice and friendly. I got hair cut and I noticed that the sides are different length and it was very easy to notice it. Had to go back and ask them to fix it. I wouldn't get hair cut again at this place Update (05/30/2017): the owner was very nice and offered a full refund and free hair cut. read more

The staff was friendly and I like the subscription pricing. That earned them the second star. Unfortunately, I received two haircuts from two different stylists and now I'll be spending the next couple months waiting for my hair to come back. The first stylist buzzed way too high on the back of the head leaving things looking funny from behind. Two weeks later I went in and stated I was just there to get cleaned up a little. We were all finished up when the second stylist decided to buzz off my entire part out of the blue. If you're looking for a military style cut, this place is probably perfect for you. UPDATE: Just wanted to update my review. Owner/management contacted me and did the best they could to fix things. As I mentioned before, everyone was friendly and courteous. read more

I had shoulder length curly hair and was looking for a change, I booked with Sydney because I saw other good reviews about her and I don't regret it! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she made it look like an exact match, I love the new hair, thanks Sydney! read more

A little too expensive for my taste, only because I got my kiddos hair cuts. The stylist were responsive to my requests and provided helpful suggestions. 3 star is because I found them to be a bit over priced. read more

Keep it Cut's membership deal is awesome. They have good employees. Felicia is great! She cuts great. Will always leave you looking fresh.

When I lived in Phoenix, I used to frequently visit the Indian School location where I had pretty mixed feelings. But after the owner reached out to me, my issues were resolved and I have only had positive experiences since. Now that they have online check-in, it's much easier to request a stylist you like which will save you a TON of time. This place is very customer focused. You won't be disappointed. read more

I had a little bit of free time to get a haircut that was waaaaayyyyy over due. I am so glad I came in today (Mother's Day) because Karen knocked it out of the park. I am picky with my haircuts and have always had a good experience here but Karen sent me off feeling fresh. Thanks Karen! read more

Finding a new place to get my haircut has always been something that gave me anxiety because of so many bad cuts I've had in the past. Being new to the area & state, and realizing it was time to get a haircut, I thought "geez, why did I leave Texas?". I did my homework, checked out tons of reviews (I love the negative stuff first!), and took suggestions from people. In Houston, it took me almost 2 years and lots of bad haircuts to find someone capable. I'm lucky to say that I struck gold in Tempe and my first haircut was a homerun. Sydney does an awesome job and I've seen the other stylists' work and they do great work too! Add in the fact that it's unlimited haircuts and this is a steal! I highly recommend Keep It Cut to everyone I know read more

Kendra hands down is the best in this building. Her energy, her welcoming smile and most importantly her work are all outstanding! I love the effort that she puts into every cut, she does everything to make it perfect. This is why i drive past 2 other keep it cut locations that I have been to and drive to Tempe for her amazing service. She does a great job and adds great value to this team! Book with Her!! read more

I love the subscription model as I can get my haircut whenever I want (as long as I have money for the tip) and with the app check-in, there is never more than a minute or two wait. Ask for Sydney and you won't be disappointed. read more

DO NOT SCHEDULE A HAIRCUT WITH KENDRA. I had a haircut scheduled for 9am this morning. On my way down the 60, I came across an unforeseen road closure that seemed to have just popped up. My phone rerouted me on a few side streets to make it to the location but, I ended up parking my car at 9:05 am. When I walked into the store, I met Kendra. She asked if I had an appointment and when she realized that I was her 9am, she scoffed at me and told me that she wouldn't cut me hair because I was "super late" and would "push back all her other clients for the whole day". I wash shocked considering that I was only a few minutes late and have waited 5 or even 10 minutes before for a Keep It Cut haircut despite having an appointment. Another hair stylist stepped in and offered to fit me in at 10:10 but unfortunately I wasn't able to stay around for that haircut since I needed to get to my Dad's place before 10. As I walked to my car and got in it, I saw Kendra leave the salon and head over near the area in the complex where there are restaurants and a gas station. To me, it looks like she cares more about getting a morning snack at the gas station rather than cutting hair. To make matters worse, when I got to my Dad's and told him about the bizarre situation that had just happened, he told me that he has indeed had his hair cut by Kendra before where she was rude to him too. We are both Keep It Cut members and I have been going to various locations since I moved to Arizona. I have never had a worse experience at a Keep It Cut than I had this morning with Kendra and I am considering canceling my membership. read more

Outstanding service and phenomenal haircut! Book your appointment with Felicia, she is fantastic in every aspect. She was patient in talking with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and asked all the right questions to deliver on the important details. And after the haircut Felicia went above and beyond to show me some styling tips. Definitely earned my future business. read more

Gave them another chance and just received the worst cut ever. Had been growing hair out to achieve cut for over a year. Brought picture and very specially asked for exactly what I wanted. Hair was butchered off in 5 min because it was busy. read more

I tried out this place because a friend told me it was cheaper than my usual place, so I decided to give it a shot. I made an appointment and was seated in a chair pretty quickly but that's where all the problems started. Multiple people kept walking in to make appointments and my stylist had to stop cutting my hair and helped every single one of them. I think at least 6 people came in to make appointments. My haircut was prolonged by at least 15-20 minutes and it was extremely hot in their store. I also had scheduled a shampoo online but as soon as she was done cutting she told me I was done and apparently didn't have time for the shampoo. My stylist kept telling me over and over and over how understaffed they were. Overall, a very poor experience, mediocre haircut, and would not go back. read more

Love this place. I have the monthly membership and it pays for itself, let me tell you. I go once a week and Raymon and Felicia tighten up a killer skin fade without fail. Cannot recommend this place more! read more

I come here regularly now and get a pretty decent haircut each time. The employees are friendly, talkative, and have always taken their time to make sure I get a haircut I like. Plus, currently their measures for social distancing are absolutely incredible. Everyone in there is wearing a mask (including customers) and no one is allowed to loiter. If it's not your turn to get your cut you wait in your car until they call you. Solid place read more

Great and friendly service. I was attended to right away and was very satisfied with my haircut. Will definitely come back again if I'm in town and needing a haircut. Price, I thought was fair due to COVID. read more

My boyfriend got his hair cut here and it looks great. He was going to sports clips but after a disastrous afternoon with them he decided to try something different and it was well worth it! He will be continuing to go back to this barber shop. They were attentive and efficient! read more

Our teenage son spent 70 days in the Tonto so you could imagine what his hair looked like. After reading Yelp reviews and being an out of towners, we stopped here for him to get a fresh cut. The hairstylist spent 30 minutes making sure it was exactly how he wanted. While my son changed his mind a few times during the haircut, the stylist did an amazing job. read more

I'm loving my membership at Keep it Cut. 30$ a month and I can come however often I want at any location. I tried out Tempe and my stylist killed it. He hardly used the clippers. He was all scissor and technique. Felt good and love how easy it is to get in and get out without awkward convo. Thanks again team. read more

Only go to this place if you check in online. If you check in at the location it does reserved you a spot. That means if someone checks in online they can take a spot that you otherwise would have had. For instance. Got here at 10:39. Didn't get a 10:40 spot which is reasonable and expected. But all the spots for the next slot were available online at 11:00 so I figured I would get one of those. That's not how it works. If you don't checkin online and just check in at the place you will be skipped until no one takes a spot online. Pretty infuriating because why bother allowing you to checkin at the store if you don't get the next available spot! Wasted about an hour for no reason Do yourself a favor and check in online NEVER at the site itself. Save yourself a wasted Sunday. It's 11:30 still haven't received a haircut. read more

Erica is the best. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect, from the haircut to the full mustache and beard trim. Definitely a happy customer and even happier about joining the unlimited visit monthly membership. You guys Rock. See you in two weeks for a trim. read more

I was in the midst of finding a new shop to get my monthly hair cuts when I noticed Keep It Cut was opening next to my local Whole Foods market. I decided to come in one Saturday morning to try it out. Since the shop was brand new, everything was very clean and well kept. They played hip hop, techno, industrial type of music which is fitting for the theme at the shop. I checked-in online at their website which put me in the queue so they would expect me. (Not much of a line on a Saturday morning but thought it would get me in line to speed up things.) Felicia, my stylist, was efficient, skilled, and knew my basic "crew" style as I described it. They offer monthly memberships that include unlimited cuts, shampoos, and facial grooming which is what I find this shop to be very unique and affordable. Single cut I got was also a bang-for-your-buck $17. read more
