Not a terrible experience, but I believe it's fair to acknowledge that the Faulkner team did not seem too interested in my business. Julie Steward greeted me with a lot of kindness, but Joe Troutman, the salesman I was provided, seemed like he could not care less that I was looking to buy. Joe came across as if he was just going through the motions, not interested in getting to know me as a customer whose business he wanted to earn. After agreeing on price, Michael Lentine, one of the finance managers, was argumentative and pushy while attempting to sell me a warranty. When it was time to sign paperwork, I was left waiting for almost an hour at Joe's desk while he scrolled on his phone and struggled to make conversation. Finally, I sat down with another finance manager, Manny Fisher, who was less pushy and made good conversation, but provided me with a second round of attempts to sell me on a warranty. Manny and I closed our time after he lectured me on how I was making a mistake by not going into debt to purchase this vehicle. Manny and I had a good conversation and found some common ground, but his lecture on debt was a poor attempt to make me second guess my decision. On the way out, I was given my keys and a handshake, left to walk out and find my vehicle in their parking lot on my own, no formal presentation whatsoever. Again, not a terrible experience, it could have been worse. But the Faulkner team did not show me that they are worth returning to for my next car purchase. While the vehicle I bought is great, the customer service matters, and the Faulkner team did not meet my standards. read more

Quick to respond to me with detailed information I needed to make a decision on what my car needed to have fixed. Recently went to have an oil change. (2 per year) Drove to Florida added 3,000 miles on the car. They said the oil was at 80%. Honda would not allow to change the oil until it showed 20%. The salesperson never told me this. Upon receiving my new car. The exterior of the car was clean. The interior front windows had a haze that needed to be attended to. It was never done. While I was denied the oil change , I ask to have the front windows cleaned. It never got done. Why am I not surprised! read more

If there was an option for zero stars, I'd select it. Reading through the prior yelp reviews only confirmed my frustration with this dealership. They charged me 800 bucks on a faulty ac compressor on my car that was only 2 years old, and the same ac compressor they replaced. Additionally, similar to one of the other reviews they over price all of their vehicles. Even prior to the supply shortage due to the pandemic. I had went in with my brother and mother wanting to purchase 3 brand new cars. Thinking they would cut us some type of deal. When we spoke to the sale manager he literally laughed in our faces and mentioned that no dealers would sell at msrp. We ended up purchasing our cars from Ciocca Honda, which was happy to work out a deal that worked for all. Little did the sales floor know that I have a lot of family/friends in the business ;-)... It's my understanding that Keenan is being bought out by Faulkner. Hopefully Faulkner can run a better business that Keenan. If not, it's worth the 2 hour drive to Ciocca. read more

In 2016 we saw Keenan Honda (where we purchased our Pilot) about an engine light and they repaired the engine misfires by replacing 4 spark plugs ... it was covered under a Honda Warranty Extension at no cost to us. In 2018 the same engine light appeared and our mechanic diagnosed it as the same engine misfire and recommended we -once again - take it back to Honda for the Warranty Extension. Therefore, I called Ken at Keenan explaining the misfire problem was happening again. I was told that THEY would need to determine the problem, and could not get my car in for weeks...and when they did get it in, if it was the same warranty problem, they would need it for several days. The customer service (regarding a problem that is Honda's fault) was so poor, I decided to follow up with another Honda Dealership. When I contacted J.L Freed Honda in Montgomeryville, I was treated with the utmost respect, asked to bring the car in the following day and told that if this was the misfire (warranty issue) I would have my car back in 3 days from that date. Needless to say that is what I did. When I picked up my car 3 days later, a customer service representative walked me over to a display engine, explained what the warranty problem was (spark plugs and piston rings) and was visually shown around the engine. He told me whenever this recall is brought in...all 4 spark plugs and 2 piston rings are replaced. They even replaced the other 2 spark plugs for me that lie behind these four. I asked why in 2016 my piston rings were never replaced or even explained to me if this was a Honda Recall Warranty situation, but he had no idea why that would not have been done the first time. If it had been taken care of properly in 2016, I was assured I would not be taking care of it again now. Very sad, as Keenan is much closer for me....but I'll go where the customer service is superior and I am given information about my vehicle and not treated as if I am a problem they don't want to deal with. If Honda has a warranty recall, every Honda owner should be treated properly and given top priority, no matter what. read more

These guys have gone way down hill. My family's been a customer since the early 1990s and Keenan are not what they used to be. Like one other reviewer said, they've turned into the shady scam lot. - Took my car in for a routine fluids change (oil, transmission, etc.). 2 hours after getting home, I go to drive the car, and the transmission fluid light is on. I called the tow truck and they took a look. The valve to hold the transmission fluid in wasn't there anymore. It either was loose and fell out, or wasn't put back at all. When I contacted Keenan, they said that they didn't do it, they weren't responsible, bla bla bla. Really? - We recently bought a new Honda Fit. After driving for a few weeks, the battery died. We charged it, but it continued to die unless the car was driven a few times a day. My mother brought it in and the service department told her that the battery was fine and the problem was that she didn't drive the car enough (she drives it every day). We had to argue with the manager to get them to replace the battery for free (car had 1600 miles). - My father recently passed away and was leasing a new CR-V (1000 miles). He had paid $5000 up front, and the buyout value was way less that the Blue Book value. Honda Financing said that given the math we could bring it back to the dealer and they'd probably just buy it back since they could make an easy profit on it. But Keenan asked for another $4,000 "fee" to deal with it. We could have sold the lease privately but after a major death you're vulnerable and just trying to deal with everything, and they definitely took advantage of that. We eventually haggled them down to a $3k "fee" but it was a horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Not good people. read more

They charged $465 of labor for a job they estimated would take between an hour to an hour and a half, I should've asked to see the breakout between the parts and labor before I agreed to let them work on my car. My daughter's 2017 Civic was having Air Conditioning issues. When I brought it in for service, I knew there was recall on certain parts for the 2017 Civic A/C. I was told that one part of the A/C repair was covered by the recall extended warranty and the other wasn't. The other cost would be about $500. I questioned why a 4 year old car would have A/C issues if not for the defective part that was originally put into it when it was made. The service person told me it was just wear and tear on the car. I have never heard of an A/C repair being needed on a 4 year old car with 45,000 miles. How ridiculous to have me believe that one defective part was covered and the other was not. I can't even believe that was the line of crap I was given. The entire repair should have been covered. Shame on them for trying to get additional money out of a loyal customer. And shame on Honda for making a crappy car with a defective A/C. Stand behind your cars or lose customers in the future. Finally someone else took notice and called for someone in the parts department to come out front. I recently bought a vehicle here. The saleswoman Elena was very nice and not pushy at all. She answered all of my questions and when she didn't know, she found the answer for me. The buying process was very easy. My only complaint is big enough to knock off 2 stars. I was paying with cash and knew what car I wanted. I could have been in and out of there in 20 minutes. Instead it took over 3 hours. They insisted on cleaning the car before releasing it, even though it looked spotless already and I was fine with taking it as is. They also insisted that I schedule a future oil change and that was another half hour wait. Overall a good experience but it's bad business to keep their customers twiddling their thumbs for hours on end. read more

We were searching for an Accord for my wife. This was the 3rd Dealer we went to. Everything was fine up until the price of the car. The Salesman was courteous, professional and the car was great. However, when pricing the car, the salesman added $1690 to the price without explaining why, just went over the details of the car. When I asked him, he said it was the extra warranty for 7 years, etc, etc. He never discussed it with me or asked if I wanted it, he just assumed and put into the price of the 20K dollar car. I told him I didn't want it, he took it off. For that reason, I rated this dealer a 2 star. I would not buy a car from them. read more

I made an appointment with a car salesman I had used in the past to test drive a passport exl. When I arrived, the car salesman asked me what I was looking for in a car and continued to play on his computer. After about 5 mins, he left to go find the car I made the appointment to see. It took over 20 mins for him to return, the car didn't have gas and was muddy. After finally test driving it, we discussed pricing. He came back with figures that were comparable to a high end car - not a Honda and apparently that was with a special discount. Needless to say, after feeling defeated and angry, I left and used another Honda dealer where the prices were almost $200 a month cheaper. Do your research before buying/leasing from Keenan. I bought my car a week ago used certified and I had a problem with it and they where very professional and fixed what was wrong right away they are very nice and polite I love working on cars and always bought older cars this was my first newar car (2017) civic and I noticed some things that where off and they fixed it for free I was expecting to pay at least something. This place is 100 times better than Fred beans I know they would have charged me. No idea whey they have a two star review. When I tried to buy a car last week Fred beans left me alone with car I was interested in for 45 minutes didn't talk to me or anything so I left went to Keenan was immediately greeted by a nice sales person not trying to sell me anything in let me choose the car to test drive and stayed with me. OK - first, we love Hondas. HOWEVER - we brought my son's reliable 2004 Civic in for the recall replacement airbag and were told that there was some serious work that needed to be done to the motor mount. The service department said it could be done later that day, to the tune of over $700. We were surprised, as we'd had no problems with the car and it had just been inspected by our local mechanic. We said, not yet - and took it for a thorough review and checkup at our own mechanic, who could find NOTHING wrong. Why? This just reinforces the worst stereotype of a car dealer!!!!! I traded in my car and financed another with Keenan today and my experience all around was satisfactory. Robert was the sales rep who assisted me and made the process as painless as possible. He deserves commendation for the manner in which he conducts business, as does the entire team who I had the pleasure of interacting with. Keenan offered a completely fair value for my trade-in and an extremely competitive price on the vehicle I traded for. The finance managers at Keenan were helpful, honest and allowed me to get out of a terrible loan I was locked into with my trade-in vehicle. The interest rate I ended up with was equally competitive. Honestly, this is probably the most important aspect of my experience because I had purchased my trade-in from a competitor just down the street (not naming names lol) and I can't say that they adhered to the same levels of transparency as the team at Keenan did. Stroll around the showroom floor as well and see some of the really cool old Honda's they have on display - Overall great experience and would recommend anyone check them out! read more

Seems like scam! I was trying to get a new lease. We have a CRv and we were trying to get the same deal as two years before. We paid $250 a month and we were trying stay with it. I took my Honda CR-V in for inspection and because it was idling too fast. Inspection passed. Charged me $100 a bolt to secure housing unit to "fix" idling too fast. Installation was to be no fee. After inspection, not only did it idle too fast, but the car shook badly. Took it back in this morning. Turns out they ordered a whole new housing unit, charged me for installation, and charged me for 5 additional bolts. Ah, but discounted at 15%... Shakes worse than ever (and coincidentally immediately after inspection) and idles fast despite the service technician assuring me both problems were corrected and it runs well. The Service Technician bold faced lied. Turned the key and it is a mess. Have left a message with General Manager. I do NOT recommend Keenan. read more

Bam boozeled at its finest. Bought a car and as negotiations happened they removed standard options. When deal was done, that's when I found out. After a week the rear dvd started making noise and I had difficulty with service to get it fixed. Reached out to the sales person (Patrick Regan)who sold me the car over and over but never got feedback. Was told by sales person that if any thing happens call me and I will help. 3 years later I have yet to hear from him even when I needed his help. Got a letter for an upgrade from Iggy so decided to give it a shot. 2 emails 4 calls later no one cares to even return the call or respond to an email. This place only cares about sales and not maintaining customers after the sale. read more

Long time costco member in the market for a new midsize car, and the accord was right at the top of the list; and was referred to teh costco auto program for getting a quote. This being the only partnership dealer in the area, I was sent here. I don't know if that was a factor, but I did not feel like I was being taken seriously while I was here. He asked if I was interested in a lease, and I said yes I was open to leasing (I planned on comparing leasing and financing options) and suddenly all I got was the lease info. I was immediately printed out their "standard" lease offer without being asked any meaningful questions. It was for a 15k mile lease with down payments ranging from 1 to 2 thousand, I told him that if I were to do a lease I planned on doing 12k miles and putting 4 thousand dollars down. I then informed them that my credit score was only "fair" (not bad, but not prime either) so I wanted to make sure the quotes they gave were realistic, and they nonchalantly said they were. When I said I wanted to get a financing quote as well, the manager looked almost shocked and condescendingly said "uh sure, but you know a lease is going to have a lower monthly cost....". That's a shady way to treat any customer, but I was borderline offended for the disrespect to my intelligence, especially since I had told them I worked in finance and had a BA II plus financial calculator in front of me and had been verifying the amortization schedules with the associated apr I had been given. Any way, Conicelli Honda ended up giving me an offer that was $80/month less with the SAME residual, ended up purchasing a camry from Conicelli Toyota who ended up giving me a ridiculous (in a good way) apr on my lease. This place was not worth the drive up, and if you are in this area I'd strongly recommend taking the trip to Conshohocken to compare offers and get some more respectful service. read more

** Updated after follow up service.** Pat, the Service Manager, contacted me in regards to my experience. While I was unhappy with my initial visit, Pat was understanding and apologetic. I brought my car back in and I feel that Pat has compensated me appropriately. Kathleen was also great to work with and I would definitely try to connect with her when I go back again. Previous review: I am disappointed with the service I received at Keenan Honda. I went in to get a key made, which cost me $130. After I left, I realized that the key was only good to manually open the door/trunk/ignition, but the clicker was not working to unlock or lock my car. I went back the next day, and the staff were less than friendly. One of the technicians did something with the key which appeared to fix the problem, so I left. When I got to work and went to lock my car using the clicker, I realized that it was only locking three of the four doors, making the fob useless to me unless I manually lock/unlock the fourth door. I called Keenan Honda again, and was told that it was probably another issue that will cost me $275. They were not apologetic about me having to come back a second time and still have an additional problem that was not brought to my attention, and leaving me without a working fob. I feel that at this point, given that I'd have to come back for the third time, I deserved a discount in additional service and a sincere apology for my inconvenience. They also should not have let me leave the first or second time without checking to make sure the work was done properly, which it was not. I would not recommend Keenan Honda based on my experience yesterday and today. read more

Service department. I took my car over. Brakes and air filter were fine. 2 weeks later came back for a recall. Brakes are suddenly failing and filter is filthy. Hmm weird cause the car sat for 2 weeks. Yeah I smell a scam! In deed it was. Took my car elsewhere and all was fine. Brought it back. Service manager rechecked it. All was fine. They will never ever have my business again. I will never step foot in there again. Service department runs a major scam. Since 1985 I've purchased 5 vehicles from Keenan Honda. Three were new and two were pre-owned. Friends and family members of mine I've recommended to Keenan over the years have also purchased at least 4 new cars that I know of. (could even be more) The 2014 Accord I purchased back in February developed a bad starter. I called my salesman Joe D to find out if there was something they could do for me. I've driven the car less than 3K miles since the purchase. He got back to me and told me vehicle had a 3 month power train warranty and there was "nothing at all" he could do for me. I get it, the Accord is 3 months out of DEALER warranty....... but as a long time loyal customer and repeat buyer I figured they could do something. O well, Keenan has lost this long time customer. Apparently loyalty no longer means anything at this dealership. Hope this honest review helps any perspective buyer......AJB read more

We went in to look at a Pilot today, and after standing in the show room for 20 minutes, finally went to ask for a sales associate. The sales associate that came to help us was clearly stressed. At two points his manager called him while we were discussing the car which clearly upset the sales associate. The second time the manager called the sales associate answered the phone "What?!" And then proceeded to hang up, slap his legs and tell us how stressed out he was. After all of this we graciously agreed to come back later in the day when he was less stressed. Big mistake. When we got back he had still not run the financials on the car. We waited an hour and a half before I finally asked how much longer it would take. The manager and sales associate were both rude in their response, and along with all of the other sales associates around the desk started laughing as I walked away. Worst car shopping experience ever. We had the polar opposite experience across the road at Thompson Toyota which I will write about in a separate post. read more

My wife and Inhave purchased 4 cars from this dealership over the years, good sales staff. But their Maitenance staff and Custer service is subpar. Our most recent purchase was a preowned Acura and it came with free inspection service. The mechanic quoted us $350 for a tail light. When she called back to order the part and schedule it was revealed to her that the part was less than quoted. When she addressed this with the original mechanic he then became belligerent and refused to order the part. Needless to say we are taking our car elsewhere and will not purchase any more vehicles from this Honda dealership. read more
