Max and I agreed to a price, agreed to payment terms, and were in the middle of scheduling a PPI. I offered to leave a deposit, Max insisted PPI's in their eyes were the equivalent of a deposit as they consider it money invested into the deal. We were agreed on the process, price, and timing. However, Max then said "My Boss didn't know about the deal and sold it to someone else, but you can offer to pay us more for the car we agreed to sell you". The issue with Max's lie is, the Boss told max to tell me they will honor the listed price if we're doing a deal, but if I passed they would otherwise raise the price. I sold my 2018 Porsche Boxster S to JS Autohaus, and my experience was nowhere near the professionalism and transparency they present online. After they arranged transport, communication became unreliable. Several of my calls went unanswered--including one day where I called five times--and many texts were answered hours or days later. I even had to rely on a Tile hidden in the car to track movement because updates were inconsistent. Before the car was even shipped, there were avoidable delays because their acquisition specialist, Matt, repeatedly sent my sale documents to the wrong (misspelled) email address, even after I told him I hadn't received anything. Instead of verifying the spelling or copying and pasting the correct email, he continued sending documents to the wrong one, which wasted two days. When the car arrived in New Jersey, JS Autohaus claimed it "might have water damage" based solely on an odor. The car lived in a garage in Las Vegas--one of the driest climates in the country--with zero moisture issues in my four years of ownership. Despite having no contractual obligation to allow any third-party inspection before payment, I agreed because I had nothing to hide. Instead of completing their standard in-house intake, JS Autohaus insisted on taking the car to a third-party Porsche dealership, which delayed payment by two additional days. Matt called me directly to ask if I was okay with waiting until Friday's Porsche appointment for payment. Again, I agreed because I had nothing to hide. If I had been hiding a defect, I certainly wouldn't have voluntarily approved a third-party manufacturer inspection before getting paid. The Porsche inspection found no mechanical issues, no cosmetic issues, and no water damage. It confirmed the worn tires and brake sensors I had already disclosed up front. The only new issue was a failed Bose amplifier--an electronic control module that did not fail in my possession and is unrelated to any mechanical systems. Despite this, Matt repeatedly attempted to classify the amplifier as an "undisclosed mechanical defect" covered under their contract. The amp is a MOST-Bus electronic control unit with no moving parts or mechanical linkage, something even the GM, Jean Saliba, eventually admitted on the phone when he said: "Yeah, this is an electronic part." Yet Matt later texted that "something mechanical caused the amp to fail," which contradicted Porsche's inspection, contradicted the GM's admission, and contradicted basic automotive principles. JS Autohaus then pressured me to cover the entire $2,600 replacement cost. I refused. I still offered $1,000 as a goodwill gesture--despite having zero contractual or factual obligation to do so--but they rejected it. Their "compromise" was that I should pay the entire $1,700 part while they paid labor, which was disproportionate and unsupported by the contract. When I said they could return the car if they didn't want to honor the price, I was told I would have to pay return shipping. My understanding of UCC standards is that once the buyer accepts delivery, moves the car, and initiates inspection, the seller is not responsible for return shipping unless they breached the contract--which I did not. Porsche confirmed I disclosed everything accurately. During the call with GM Jean Saliba, I clearly stated how unhappy I was with how this was handled. Jean said they were unhappy too. When I repeated that the amplifier is electronic, wasn't defective in my possession, and isn't covered under their "undisclosed mechanical defect" clause, he admitted it was electronic--then told me I "should be paying more," which made no sense given the inspection results. When my boyfriend pointed out that the issue didn't exist at pickup and that their behavior didn't match their public persona, Jean talked over him. When my boyfriend mentioned their videos and branding, Jean hung up on us. After all the delays, shifting explanations, contract twisting, and pressure, I ended up taking a $1,500 loss from the originally agreed price simply to end the ordeal. This loss was entirely due to their misclassification of an electronic component, refusal to honor the contract as written, internal communication failures, and unwillingness to accept responsibility for an issue that arose after transport, during their chain of custody. Nothing about this experience aligned with the fairness, integrity, or customer-first values JS Autohaus promotes online. Instead, I experienced poor communication, sloppy handling of paperwork, misrepresentation of technical facts, inconsistent explanations, pressure tactics, and unprofessional behavior from management. As someone who works in the business, I've never been more disappointed in a dealer. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE WITH THEM. My fiance and I both work in the auto sales business and this should have been the smoothest transaction possible, and instead it was the worst I've ever experienced. We inquired on a vehicle, left a deposit and asked for confirmation on wether we could use our own credit union since we already had an approval. We have texts from our sales rep Max confirming this, so we got the loan from our credit union and send the info over to them. They then flip and say they will not proceed with our credit union without the funds up front? We didn't feel comfortable doing so, since that should not be the case for an option contract. They were forcing our hand to go through their financing and run credit. We finally accept and proceed with the credit process, they had got the approval (we verified with the lien holder ourselves) and they came back to us with "we need to put 10k down to proceed" when we were approved with 0 down per the lienholder. We opted to put the money down since they already had our deposit. Then they required it to be wire transfer. We were open to that as well and then more issues kept coming up. There were miscalculations with tax %s and DMV docs fees. And finally at the end said we now needed 60k down which was more than half the vehicles cost??!! Every time we called out the dealer for their lies and malpractice, they would just respond with defensiveness and rudeness; especially Abe in Finance. We agreed to work through every bad turn they gave us all to finally be told they sold the vehicle to someone else! They then tried putting the blame on us! PLEASE STAY AWAY, everything was set up for this to be the smoothest transaction and its bed the worst i have every experienced. I called looking to buy a Model Y they had in stock on their website. The call was answered by a salesman who seemed to be in a rush or simply couldn't be bothered to work out a phone deal. When I provided the stock number, he told me it was still available but rudely asked, "What do you want?" When I mentioned that I was looking for a quote and needed the car transported, he asked me for the tax percentage in Florida instead of taking two seconds to provide good service and look it up himself. After I googled and provided the tax rate, he gave me a price, which I requested to be sent to me. After hanging up from this unprofessional salesman, he texted me this exact message: "Sorry, I was doing the deal for you and I just found out Thjs car sold" What a waste of my time. I've purchased cars online for the past 10 years to be clear. All have been luxury vehicles and I have to say, this was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had buying a car out of state. It was actually laughable how poor the customer service was with this dealership and I'm really upset with myself that I didn't search reviews on the dealership before pulling the trigger on the car I purchased. I will say, the car itself appears to be in great condition and I have a post purchase inspection slated for this week, but the entire process went so poorly that I must add to the long line of people who have had negative experiences with this dealership. For the entire deal process I had to chase and call and text my sales person over and over again for every single piece of info, and I truly mean EVERY SINGLE PEICE OF INFO. Every single time I finally got "someone" on the phone they always gave me this excuse about being busy! As if the people looking to purchase a car from you don't work full time jobs? As if none of us have kids or responsibilities as well? It's a completely unacceptable excuse. My specific sales person didn't understand the tax implications related to an out of state buyer so he tried to send me a Bill of Sale with 8 percent tax. When I questioned him on it he gave me some BS excuse about adding 2 percent for financing which still made ZERO sense, then I had to wait almost a week for him to send me an updated bill of sale. This is something that should be amended in 2-5 minutes. I only got two 30 second videos of the car that I was buying site unseen, even though I asked multiple sales people at the dealership for more pics and videos of the car. I'm pretty certain this was done to avoid showing me the true number of imperfections on the vehicle. Again I want to make it clear I am not questioning the quality/pricing of the car because this particular car is in great condition and was fairly priced. However the customer service was by far the worst I have ever experienced and was so poor it really soured the entire experience. I would highly recommend this dealership provide additional training to its sales force so that they understand how important customer service is in buying a vehicle. I'm confused about this dealership. I found a car advertised on their website. I called and worked out the deal after several communications. My trade was valued and we had an agreement. It got late in the day and the salesman told me the car was mine and in the morning the final details (deposit) would be completed. The next morning, I didn't get a call so I reached out. The salesman tells me that there is a problem...... they don't have the title to their car. He tells me he will call me later in the day. I call for an update at the end of the day and he tells me he will find out what's going on with the title and will call me the next day. Meanwhile, 3 different salesman text and email me to sell me the same car. I call him the next day at around 11 am. He text me saying it doesn't look good.....the car may have to be sent back.??..... I sent a few messages to the owner on social media and never received a response. Thus...... my confusion and my 1 star review. I would love to report good news. Lets see if this gets resolved. Beware of this Auto Group. Prices are on point. BUT, you will either need new tires or new brakes or both tires and breaks 1 month after you drive off the lot. If you call them, they disappear. Furthermore, they sell me a warranty for $8k and its a warranty company called Continental Warranty but tell you its a 100k mile Land Rover Warranty. I find out later that this is the 2nd worst warranty program next to Carshield. Just had a $5500 repair and Continental is picking up $1500 of it. Continental will not pay for any factor parts. Instead they want to over night the shady parts they have to the dealership. Lesson learned. Never buy a certified used car from anywhere except a real dealership. read more

Dealer stated two months after they were paid from Navy Federal that I couldn't have my vehicle on my business insurance, this is the same insurance I provided at the time of purchase to drive Off the lot. To me they just wanted to get paid because it's no way 2 months later you tell me you can't accept my insurance after you were already PAID for the vehicle. ( 2 months later).... I was informed by finance and sales to cancel my current policy which is a commercial policy with several vehicles on it and get a personal policy & that's the only way to get the vehicle registered. Dealer refuse to file the necessay paperwork to register the vehicle in the business name as instructed by Navy federal. I was charged for title and tag even with me providing my own.
