Rizq is at the end of a large plaza with a mix of restaurants, hair salons, and convenience stores. Do not let the plaza or the outside fool you, go inside and you will be welcomed by colorful yellow, orange, and green seats, purple flowers, and one of the largest screens I think I have seen in a restaurant. My dad and I were warmly greeted by the owner Nick and he told us about the menu and recommended a few items. It was my dad's first time really having Mediterranean food, so Nick was happy to take his time recommending items as well as being so kind regarding my dad's dad jokes! We got the garlic dip with pita bread to start and omg, nothing but goodness in every bite. It had a nice cool and creamy taste and texture! For our main meal we got the shrimp scampi and the mixed meat kebab plate. We could've just shared the meat kebab plate as with each entree you get rice, salad, and hummus. There was more than enough food for four or five people and possibly still have leftovers! The shrimp scampi had a nice balance of spice and incorporated onions, peppers, and mushrooms to make a delight that my pallete really enjoyed. The meat on the kebab plate was tender and juicy with just a little toughness. This mixed with the hummus paired with the rice and salad made for a great meal and a very stuffed stomach! I think we have leftovers for a couple of days--no complaints as I want to experience their food over and over again! I will be back! Thank you, Nick!

We ate pretty early around 5pm, and it was very empty, which was nice because it meant our food came fast. We tried the chicken shawarma bowl and the beef shawarma bowls. The food tasted delicious, but did seem a little less fresh, like maybe it had been sitting for a while, which would make sense because it wasn't exactly prime dinner hour yet, so maybe perhaps left from lunch? Either way, the portions were great, enough to take home leftovers. And the flavor of the meat was superb. They were so warm and kind to our family, especially our two year old.
