This place is ok. Ordered a chicken kebob wrap for $11.25. To add fries and a drink will set you back another $6. The wraps are ok. The come with lots of onions. I love onions but this wrap lacked flavor. Takes about 25 minutes from the time I ordered till I got the order so I was thinking the product would be better. Had ordered a plate with just PLAIN rice and no house salad but ended up with a mash up of mezzes layered on top of the rice. Paid extra for grilled pepper and tomato. Lavash bread was included but they had no butter, which is usually standard for kabob. TLDR: not worth it. Average at best and portions are ridiculously cheap. There are so many Mediterranean places in the Glendale and La Crescenta area. I'm so curious why they got such high marks. We went here for dinner and relied on Yelp reviews. My daughter got a tri tip bowl and I have to say it is really chintzy. It was essentially a bow full of rice and three small pieces of meat. Look at the picture. It is laughable how there is almost nothing in the bowl. There are other places that have a much better portion size that makes it worth it. This bowl was $14.50! It's looked like a kids meal that you would get for $6. We also got a tri tip wrap. It tastes ok. Lots of sauces and juices and by the time I got home it was soggy. It was also much smaller than other places. I took a picture of it with next to an iPhone for comparison. It's looks like a big taco and that's all. Any hungry person will not be full with one taco. I would say that the food is just average here. I've had much better before in Montrose and Glendale. Plus the portion sizes are so chintzy that I feel ripped off. Wife wanted to call and complain but what was going to happen? It's the way they operate and probably can't change that. When I opened the bag I had to ask my son if he had eaten part of the food, but he hadn't touched it. The "beef shish bowl" had 4 small sized kebab pieces in a bowl filled 2/3 with rice and 2 tablespoons of a sauce. Not appetizing and ridiculous at $17.99! My "Paleo Plate" was no better for $16.75. I fully understand inflation and that prices have gone up, but the increase in price paired with the measly portions are unreasonable. Again, I don't like leaving poor reviews, but consumers should be aware. Maybe if they take this as constructive criticism and improve, I'll be happy to try again and leave a better review. The plate came with 4 luleh, basmati rice, salad and humus. We ordered ala carte, a skewer of chicken shish and beef shish kabob. While Everything was good, the chicken shish was exceptional. It was Juicy and flavor was really good. The humus was really good too. You have to go to the counter to order. They will deliver to your table when it's ready. They have only 4 tables for outside seating. So I think during rush hour, this could be a problem. We came at 2:30 p.m. , so we where able to grab a table. I got to try out Kabob Daddy for the first time the other day. What a treat! I was in a group of 9. Every single one of us enjoyed what we ordered. I had the chicken breast pita and it was so good. I loved the fresh greens and the garlic sauce. The fries were perfectly paired with their spicy ketchup. It was such a nice day and the outdoor seating, though required, was quite nice. We also just so happened to have had wonderful service! What a jovial and kind man at the register. I do believe he was the BOSS of the establishment. He really made our experience the best. We all want to go back again and I for one can't wait! Definitely stop by if you can, you won't be sorry! Very expensive. I ordered 2 dinners at it was $60.00. I was quiet surprised. I needed to pick up dinner for my mother and I and this place was close to my appointment. It's a take out or dine in restaurant, nothing fancy. They charged $10.00 extra for lamb. When I checked my bill i noticed they charged me more for using a credit card. Bad bad bad. I could have paid cash, but it wasn't mentioned nor did it state on the CC machine. You should be disclosing this to your customers.
