Tried this restaurant today. Montrose is such small town, with such and eclectic foundation of food establishments. This was a found diamond and food and service was great. Had the Daddy's Famous Lule, which was 80% ground beef and 20% of ground pork. The flavor was delightful and very moist. Four servings of the kebab, which was a very generous portion. Sides included basmati rice, hummus and salad. There was also a side of a tomato relish, which added a great balance to the meat. Staff offered great options and supplied such a wonderful experience. Well I have to be completely honest here folks , I used to come here quite often pre pandemic and really love the food .Fast forward about a year or so later , I noticed that the prices have risen in which I completely understand and support but where I draw the line is how do you charge $22.00 for a small bowl with literally 4 small pieces of meat !! .. TLDR: not worth it. Average at best and portions are ridiculously cheap. There are so many Mediterranean places in the Glendale and La Crescenta area. I'm so curious why they got such high marks. We went here for dinner and relied on Yelp reviews. My daughter got a tri tip bowl and I have to say it is really chintzy. It was essentially a bow full of rice and three small pieces of meat. Look at the picture. It is laughable how there is almost nothing in the bowl. There are other places that have a much better portion size that makes it worth it. This bowl was $14.50! It's looked like a kids meal that you would get for $6. We also got a tri tip wrap. It tastes ok. Lots of sauces and juices and by the time I got home it was soggy. It was also much smaller than other places. I took a picture of it with next to an iPhone for comparison. It's looks like a big taco and that's all. Any hungry person will not be full with one taco. I would say that the food is just average here. I've had much better before in Montrose and Glendale. Plus the portion sizes are so chintzy that I feel ripped off. Wife wanted to call and complain but what was going to happen? It's the way they operate and probably can't change that. Upon first impression, the workers are very nice and patient. Greeted with a warm welcome.They were nice enough to bring our food to us even though it has a "fast food" kind of style. All the food was extremely flavorful. Their sojouk breakfast burrito had a nice crunch of the potatoes and meat was spiced to give you flavor in every bite. The lule was juicy with the drippings of the meat to flavor your basmati rice underneath. Each plate gives you a choice of side and salad along with the rice. I enjoyed the salad and vinaigrette. Salad was fresh. Everything about the plate had a nice balance. I will definitely go back here to try other items on the menu. read more

This place is ok. Ordered a chicken kebob wrap for $11.25. To add fries and a drink will set you back another $6. The wraps are ok. The come with lots of onions. I love onions but this wrap lacked flavor. Takes about 25 minutes from the time I ordered till I got the order so I was thinking the product would be better. When I opened the bag I had to ask my son if he had eaten part of the food, but he hadn't touched it. The "beef shish bowl" had 4 small sized kebab pieces in a bowl filled 2/3 with rice and 2 tablespoons of a sauce. Not appetizing and ridiculous at $17.99! My "Paleo Plate" was no better for $16.75. I fully understand inflation and that prices have gone up, but the increase in price paired with the measly portions are unreasonable. Again, I don't like leaving poor reviews, but consumers should be aware. Maybe if they take this as constructive criticism and improve, I'll be happy to try again and leave a better review. First time to try this place. No frills restaurant. I like it. Just good food and priced reasonably. We ordered Plate it . You can choose 1 meat, so we chose Daddy's Famous Luleh. The plate came with 4 luleh, basmati rice, salad and humus. We ordered ala carte, a skewer of chicken shish and beef shish kabob. While Everything was good, the chicken shish was exceptional. It was Juicy and flavor was really good. The humus was really good too. You have to go to the counter to order. They will deliver to your table when it's ready. They have only 4 tables for outside seating. So I think during rush hour, this could be a problem. We came at 2:30 p.m. , so we where able to grab a table. Disappointed!!! We returned to Kebab Daddy after years (Covid intervening) and were disappointed. The side of Greek Salad was 2 T, and it was good but geez, so stingy. The lamb chops, which I ordered Medium Rare, were well done+ aka dessicated. ewwew. Gray and dry. Upon reflection, I should have brought them back to the counter but I hate food waste, so I hung in there. No one goes there for the "ambiance," it's cold and almost industrial; that's OK but geez, no one else was there so it's not like they couldn't have given us better food. My husband's chicken was dry. The one thing that we loved were the Tater Tots. I got to try out Kabob Daddy for the first time the other day. What a treat! I was in a group of 9. Every single one of us enjoyed what we ordered. I had the chicken breast pita and it was so good. I loved the fresh greens and the garlic sauce. The fries were perfectly paired with their spicy ketchup. It was such a nice day and the outdoor seating, though required, was quite nice. We also just so happened to have had wonderful service! What a jovial and kind man at the register. I do believe he was the BOSS of the establishment. He really made our experience the best. We all want to go back again and I for one can't wait! Definitely stop by if you can, you won't be sorry!
