I used to come here 7 years ago when they were cash only and it was a much better vibe back then. Anyway..... I called to ask if I could make an apointment and they said walk ins only. I showed up later in the day, walked in.. no one greeted me, some other client who was sitting there told me I was supposed to type my phone number into their little machine and they would text me when it was my turn... I just waited. Finally after waiting FOREVER, (which I actually didn't mind because I figured its a good sign that they would take their time with me and do everything nicely) a nail tech came up to me and asked me what services i wanted and then told me to go with her. She thought it would be cute to tell me she'd prefer to converse and waste time than to actually work because she was tired and then she proceeded to give me a lecture on different types of extension tecniques that I didn't listen to because I didn't ask lol. I honestly couldn't care less about her business, I came for a relaxing pedicure, not to have someone dump their misfortunes and "nail knowledge" on me. You know what nail advice would've actually been useful? If she told me to ask for Natural looking nails since that concept went way over the person who did my extension's head. The pedi was trash as you can see in the photo I attached. She barely removed cuticle nor did she exfoliate properly nor massage me. The area around my toe nails is dry and the polish was applies sloppily. She kept saying things like "i've been working here for 10 years, I know everyone" lol ok but you don't know how to give a proper pedicure so who cares how long you've been working at the same establishment? I was just looking at the guy nail tech next to her doing a great job on someone else wishing that were me instead. Also, she cleaned the tools she used when she was done, with MY FOOT BATH WATER ewwwwwwwwww. I asked her to redo one of the big toe nails once I realized that she didn't paint it properly and she only removed the gel polish, but didn't actually re do it until i was done with my mani and extensions which I didn't understand because she could've done it while I was getting the extensions done. Also she didn't remove the gel polish properly (did not soak in acetone) she just drilled it off with one of those tools..... After I finished with my mani I had to wait an extra like 30 min for her to fix my nail because she was doing another pedicure. Also, she took twice as long with that pedicure than she did with mine lol. Anyway she got mad and started saying things like " i dont understand why the person who did your mani couldnt just do it" (I also did not understand), "she said she didn't because you specifically requested me" all lies, I didn't even speak to the person who did my mani about that and I wouldn't have specifically requested her because she sucks at it. I really just wanted to get out of there asap. Anyway... the person who did my mani and extensions did them way too thick... now my hands just look like HERMIT CRABS which ofcourse I didn't notice until it was all done and I was so tired of the energy in there I wanted to get out. Plus they were closing. These nails are almost thicker than my fingers. I wish I didn't spend my money here. They are unsanitary, unprofessional and unrealiable. I also wanted to add that the nail tech who did my pedicure had a pretty persistent cough which she swore wasn't covid, she said her asthma was acting up. Now I have developed a very intense and persistent cough which does not let me sleep at night. THIS PLACE MADE ME SICK. read more

Okay so i have been to this location before to do my eyebrows and was nervous coming in but the lady that did my eyebrow was so amazing she gave me a consultation and told me i was being over plucked at my usual place and showed how my eyebrow should look for the frame of my face , spoke perfect english and was gentle. Wow!! i was terribly sad i didn't live closer to this place. So bout 2 years pass by and i decided to pop in and see the place The place has change drastically... What was tropical coral walls were now a dingy orange It had a gray theme going on and the inside wasn't as nice and just looked sad... I decided to go ahead and get a gel polish manicure done & immediately seated to the farthest table from the door The lady didnt even ask me if i wanted my nails square or round she just figured today is the day i get square pointed edge nails lol Okay thats fine ... no bowl of water to soak in okay thats fine to What i was not okay with is the fact that her cuticle nipper was extremly sharp and she was busy chatting away with her " girlfriends " i mean co-workers Sharing publix lunch ideas cause they were soooo hungry and complaining that the other nail techs messed up her arylic refill and what everyone else on facebook was doing So what end up happening of course she isnt focused and cut me in one corner and i didnt even notice until the end of the service she hiding my nails that is a big NO NO It kept bleeding even after the service was done im extremely nervous it can get a infection seeing another yelp review mentioned they dont have the strictest sanitation What i had to admit was convenient was that the station had two curing machine(OPI brand that heat up like the surface of the sun i swear) so once one had was painted the other could go inside and cure without having to wait for the machine to stop and pop the other hand in Now i under stand that for a 26 dollar gel polish manicure im not expecting the best service but seeing they are right next to a salon centric store they would have the proper brands tools NOPE again with the gelish base &top and OPI " alpine snow" cured on a opi machine The owner i believe his station is at the front was more interested watching videos Overall i would not come back maybe it was a off day. read more

The first half of my experience at KC Nails was perfect; the male nail tech did a good job with my pedicure and I did like that they have the set of gel and regular nail polish in the same colors. Now my issue started when I was getting my acrylic set. I explained to the nail tech that I wanted coffin nails and he said ok without any issues. Well, apparently he doesn't know what coffin nails are because they look like just short, square nails. I told him before he put the acrylic that I thought the nails were too short and he just laughed saying that they would look different once the acrylic was on. I went to this location this was my second time going there. I went for a fill in i was the first one in line for walk in's I got there at 8:30 they did not open until 9:30 I was the only black customer waiting for a fill in being this was the location I went to for my full set I spent $75 I sat there in waited for about 5 minutes the lady that was sitting everyone at a booth came in sat all the other customers that were Spanish or white before me. I personally love doing my nails with Kelly, I always stay satisfy when she does my nails. the only thing i don't like is that they don't have airbrush, so if I want to do the french manicure i feel the tip doesn't stay as nice as it would if it were airbrushed. but aside of that i love everything about it. read more

This nail place has seen it's better days. It use to be cheerful, cleaner, and your manicure and pedicure were really good. Now it's like a different place altogether. The clientele has declined and I was there on a Saturday at around 4pm. There were 5 customers there. Most of the seats were empty. The owner and his wife (I'm guessing) were more interested in each other and their phone instead of their clients. The ladies working there were more concentrated on gossiping about each other than providing services to the clients. The entire time I was getting a pedicure the ladies were discussing one of the other ladies and it was all in Spanish BTW. Not that that's a big deal in Miami. On to the quality of the pedicure....the lady didn't even remove all of the polish from the nails...I think she thought it would be covered up with the new polish but it wasn't. The nails are unevenly cut and she did an over all poor job. One thing I can say is Janet left this place over a year ago and she did the right thing! She was the best thing they had going and it's clear they have gone down hill since her departure! I will not be going back. I love this place when it comes to the shape and form they give your nails. Also, they have a large variety of colors and your acrylics will look very pretty. But, i do give it 3 starts bc your acrylics after 2 weeks will start to come off by the top kind of lifting up as if you haven't gotten refill for a month. Avoid this nail salon!! I walked in after work with no other options and decided to give it a chance and regret doing so. I had been to this place and loved my manicure with Sue. I went back just to have her do my nails again, I loved it that much! So I walked in on a Tuesday evening (around 6:30pm) without an appointment to get a new full set of acrylics done. Sue wasn't available so I was moved on to another technician (little did I know...) I waited for about 20 minutes when I was finally sat in a chair to begin the process. Didn't get as much as a "hello" from the nail tech although I was pretty much going out of my way to be nice to HIM. When it came time to cut the acrylic down to a certain length the nail technician sucked his teeth at me as I told him to make them a bit shorter. Wtf? Never have I had such rude and unwelcoming service. Learn how to treat your customers, sad part was I think he was the owner... Very disappointing.
