The owner loaned to me a space heater until the job was complete. I only have one request from the company to use drop cloths as not to make a mess on their future projects. The owner, Chris was in touch with me from beginning to end of the project. I appreciated that very much. The two technicians that came over to the house were very polite and helpful. Will I continue doing business with this company? Of course I will and I think you could too. I would like to keep a good relationship with this company.

They do not care to retain their customers, and service is sub par. If you vocie your concerns to the owner they jsut simply hang up on you. Now , I could understand if we didn't tell the intake person at their business what exact repair we needed and what size pipe we would require , but we did , and yet they were unable to do the repair and told us they could not return for weeks to do the repair. They also threw out there that we should be thankful as they were doing us a favor.? I will say the repairman was super nice and clearly just an innocent party in this unprofessional train wreck. I'm not an HVAC specialist but I do know enough to know that it doesn't take 3 weeks to get a small common sized pipe in their possession to do a minimal repair. Our correspondence was with Jason , who we believe is the owners brother. He was beyond rude, disrespectful and down right horrible Just do yourself a favor and pass.

I cannot tell you to RUN AWAY from this company fast enough!! Back in 2020 I was looking to…read morereplace one of 2 HVAC systems in my home. I did my due diligence, I called 10 places and got the top 5 quotes. I selected Girard's because they were local here in Westfield and had the best warranty. MAN was I in for a ride. 6 months after they installed a brand new system I receive a notice that while my equipment will be covered under warranty, they will not offer any maintenance / service because they have made the decision to service only Mitsubishi Heat Pumps. So much for this company being right down the street... Fast forward to January 2025 and it's been COLD! I call to verify that I'm still under warranty and how quickly can they come out because I have NO HEAT. This was on a Wednesday morning... the soonest they could come out was two days later on Friday afternoon. Bob showed up and was nice enough. He diagnosed the system right away and found that the furnace was not getting any propane to the burners. He would order the part's and call me back from the office to inform me on their availability and when I could expect him to return to complete the repair. Not only did he not call back, when I spoke to Jennifer in the office she informed me that it would be the following Tuesday AT BEST before they would get the necessary parts and she could pencil me in for service on the follow Wednesday morning if I would like. IF I WOULD LIKE???!!! A WHOLE WEEK WITHOUT HEAT!! Thank the heavens for wood stoves and electric oil heaters!! PLEASE PLEASE good people think twice about spending your hard earned money with this company!!

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. You see, we had an old Bryant gas hot-air furnace…read morethat we estimate to be at least 40+ years old. We had a minor problem in that the fan would not turn off after the heating cycle was completed. We called Girard Heating and the owner came out and took a look. He said that the part we needed might be no longer made, but nevertheless he would try to find a solution. A few weeks went by and we finally made contact. He came over and managed to find a work-around which brought our old gal up to top operating condition once again. Throughout all of this process did he in no way pressure us to purchase a new furnace (which we probably will do in time). Instead, he said, "It works fine so wait until it dies." We were grateful to hear this, for we are in the process of upgrading our old home and the timing of purchasing a new furnace would have put a severe strain on our budget. So therefore, I highly recommend this company for both their honesty and excellent work.

Since then, Dave has helped me install a gas line for a gas fireplace insert, and has completely replumbed my master bathroom during a renovation. I cannot say enough positive things about Dave! There's no feeling like the comfort that comes with knowing your plumber knows their stuff and never does shoddy work. He has solved problems I didn't think could be solved. He's bailed me out of a couple of emergency plumbing situations (such as when my contractor ran screws through a water line twice). Dave never leaves a mess behind.
