I brought him in the bathroom to see what I was asking him to look at. He said he saw it through the vents. Never even looked at it and charged me $100. He also said he would give me a senior discount. Think I got that? I got nothing and he got $100. Don't do it. This guy is not cool. Don't know who showed up at the other reviewer's homes because it couldn't have been the same guy. I was so shocked I couldn't even speak for myself.

When he arrived, he noted that it had to be replaced as it was corroded at the bottom (and water was leaking). He purchased one and had it installed the next day! I know not everybody is always able to make accommodations like that, but I appreciate him taking my small children into consideration. He was reasonable, reliable, and efficient. After he completed the job, he also followed through the next day by checking in to make sure everything was working properly!

Had a scare last night with the carbon monoxide detectors going off. We had Columbia Gas come out…read moreand they said it was probably the boiler or some sort of venting issue. We left for the night and called Baystate Comfort this morning (between 7am- 8am). James was at our home between 8:30-9am!! He was able to repair the issue, but warned us that our furnace is on borrowed time. He was very knowledgeable while explaining the process of a replacement and how it would benefit our home. He also was patient answering all of our questions about other options (routine maintenance, duct tape, prayers, etc :). In the end, he will be sending us a quote for a new furnace and hot water heater in one system, and we are working on setting up a game to pay for it.
